The question is a little hard to answer. While I think it is most common and probably best if love is built over time, I cannot say that love at first sight does not exist. At what point does simple infatuation become love? "At fist sight" does not simply mean that it was just because of the person's looks, maybe it was because of what they were seen doing or how they handeled a situation. No one would argue that first impressions are very important, the question is how important are they? I'm sure that even people who do not beleive in love at first sight have found themselves compelled to talk to someone or ask them out when they first met them. I don't think that anyone should run off and get married right after they meet someone, but who is to say that some people don't just know? JUST BECAUSE IT DOESN'T HAPPEN TO EVERYONE, DOESN'T MEAN IT DOESN'T HAPPEN FOR ANYONE. |

| hm.... love in first sight huh... no I don't believe in it... for me it's just something wrong with that idea. I experinced it once and it did not turn out well or it didn't turn out as anything special. I think love in first sight is way to shallow... beacuse you don't know that person so well, you don't know if you get along etc. normaly ithink love in first sight is something like this: "wow She/he looks good exactly my type"... or something like that i think you guys understand what i mean. But i don't deny that "true" love in first sight dose exist. It's a Devil's proof, I mean just beacuse no one has seen a devil that dosen't mean that it exist it's the same thing with love in first sight, just beacuse you haven't experinced it it dosen't mean that it dosen't exist... er... I think i read to much mystery novels... but I think love in first sight is like a gamble of 1 on 1000000000, I mean the person you fall in love with isn't always the right one and it's always a riksy game, then shouldn't love in first sight be a even more risky game? |

No, i don't believe that, i believe in atraction, but never love. Love is a delicate and deep feeling that grows when two people decide to show theirselves and share more than a kiss or a dream. You can't say you love someone if you are not capable of giving your life for the other person ^^.

I think it depends on how you react to that impression you get when you meet a mate. Some gets it right the first time, some don't. There was this saying, 'Live long love to find true love'. Time will be the testament of your love. |

I believe in "infatuation" at first sight; I think that only after you get to actually know the person does it become love...but you know it's really hard to tell the difference between the two.

some people may think of it as a truth.. but for me who never experienced any love for opposite sex at all, would say i believe o% at all.. i believe that certain people has their own taste for others so i guess that it depends on the person itself.. just try to love urself truly before u love others and put GOD above others!!  |

perhaps but the thing is "do you even know why you feel in love at 1st sight?" maybe it's because of what they can do or how they look like? because of this many people have their feelings torn down or broken cus of it. If you want that person to fall in love with you have to "earn their love" and what makes you so sure that "he or she" will fall for you and must have determined if you want to stay with that Special someone till death. (...err...I'm not too sure if i made a few of those sentences sound right or what ._.;)

Yes! i believe in love at first sight, because it's been like 8 years since i felt something special for someone. It happened to me when i was like in the 3rd grade, and ever since whenever i see that person time would stop for me and i lose track of time. Yeah i know it sounds kinda corny and childish, but when you experience this kind of feeling you lose track of time. It just might be me but all that being said you guys be the judge. |

No. There are so many stories of love at first sight (Romeo and Juliet is the most obvious example), but we overuse that topic too much (thus making certain people believe that some of it is true), and I highly doubt it happens in life. I haven't had many relationships in my life, but I have had a few, and relationships are built upon things like trust and compassion, not on "love at first sight." So again, no.  |

No. I don't believe in love at first sight. Love takes time. Love is patient remember? so why will it occur during a first meeting? :) It's possible to admire the person rather than loving him for just a short period of acquaintance. :)  |

Well Its depend with the person sometimes, a guy passionate looking a such beautiful girl and fall in love sometimes, a good friend (different gender) eventually become a couple Its depend on the couple though    |
