A lot of people say that about themselves, but I doubt it's relatively possible. XD Hmm, not sure about FB, but you can see my photo on twitter (/LOC_1014). lol, although it isn't quite... "clear". ;P My friend's girlfriend said to try silver like T.O.P! XD Since I've always been a black haired guy (at one point orange), I think a darker golden blond would work.

Actually, I was waiting for the others to reply first cause I don't wanna make the thread look like a chat convo. Lol. I forgot to check once in a while. XD I'm kinda waiting for Trickster's maintenance to be over... So, anyways: Jon: Quite over it now, lol, thanks for the consideration though. School did a wonderful job being a BIG distraction. XD. Congrats on passing - lol, almost a month ago... but yeah! My family doesn't have much of the facial hair genes, it'd take me at least a few years to have anything with the rate of how its growing. I kinda plan to color my hair when I find the right haircut, my parents finally gave me permission. Bad thing is that, when I graduate... I have to go back to my natural hair color for work. [@Keiri] Hmm good to see you popping back here randomly. And yeah, I sent you a request, though forget that hiding stuff, make your twitter public! lol if I don't have confidence to achieve this huge goal of mine, who knows what'll happen. I checked the site (I used their hair products before, still have the spiky edge product), forget where I bought it though... XD I like some of the colors like the rose/red ones, I wanted to try that, although some of the colors say like "orange" but the image below of a real person isn't orange at all. The silver one is not even silver, you can see a touch of it but barely anything at all. Some of the colors I am interested in there's no image or model to look at to see a preview. :/ My sister just told me to go to Wal-Mart though and she'd dye my hair herself (she experiments all the time herself). But yeah after seeing that rose like color, not sure if I'll go that or go blond. I like Jaejeong blond.

DA: lol, I'll make it public when I debut myself as a cosplayer - it's not really my dream though. The twitter is just a precaution to prevent my facebook from having too many unwanted requests. I know it's petty... but yeah, I don't know what else to call it. XD Confidence is good, we Asians do have the best genes. So yeah, we have the right to be confident. XD (No offence to others. :P) Lol, the color depends on the quantity you apply to the hair... you can apply the color 2 times (same or different color) for different results. It's really a trial and error thing unless you're a prodigy in that department. And if you have the indestructible hair gene (most Asians do), you do not have to worry about hair damage. You could just use conditioner on your hair for a few days to get it back to its optimal look. Tip tough, if you're going for blond... do not go for bright shades of yellow. Yeah, it looks good under the sun. Only when wet that it will be another story. Err, I'll take my leave here. I need to do something more productive. I'll check in here after a few days. XD Message anywhere if there's anything.

@DA — Yeah, I'm in college. Heading into my third semester this fall. As for a photoshoot, if done well and put together well with graphics you're capable of? Gonna be top of the line material. Gotta admit I'm pretty pumped to see what you turn out. The breaking out is bad, yeah, but it's always like my nose that gets it. I almost never break out around my face and haven't since I was like 16 [I'm 20] but I just randomly break out really bad on my nose at random times. Sometimes I go months without it, but like right now I've broken out really bad on my nose. May be caused by stress or something? I'm not really stressed about anything, though. @Toyumi — THANK YOU ~ I gotta say, even when it may not be the best work, I love when people enjoy or like any graphics I do. I know I'm not very good, but hearing people say they enjoy something I made or like it, does bring a smile to my face. Good luck on your final, too. Those have always been crazy for me, so I hope you can pull through and ace it! @HK — A mental disorder eh? Maybe I can throw myself into that category too, lmao. |

[@Keiri] Yeah I don't wanna go bright at all, I don't think that suit me. Honestly you've seen my pics a bunch of times before, what would look better on my in your opinion? Blond? Rose? I wanted to do something like this, however possibly a bit darker I'unno. I guess hairstyle also can look different with or without gel or anything, too, right? I want to dye it before I possibly get into school again but I'unno yet. I like his hair these days though, but he goes darker and then back a lot. I never use conditioner, I've tried it before, not sure how to use it in fact, lol. My hair's always been healthy though. [@Shuy] Yeah, I'm picky about quality though, if it's not official or taken by an SLR, honestly I'll just go blank canvas or whatever I can find via stock images. I can make anything I want. Also if I wanted to go the extra mile, which I won't (XD) I could honestly design a real CD album. I learned how to in college, portions, dimensions, everything. I at one point had pics up of the SNSD one I made in college, but I think I deleted that entire album since I won't really care for facebook anymore. I can show you whenever you want to see though. I honestly think it's pretty cool and for something at staples in the city rather than the place I tried to get it done at, pretty f#cking amazing. I honestly should've won best of quarter with that thing, but I guess it was cause it wasn't "professionally made". Oh wells, still Aced that class. I break out slightly around the nose a bit, too, the most annoying ones are where the stash used to be cause it's more noticeable. Anything around there is awkward especially when you're with friends, it's hard for them not to look. I have a ton of black heads that I'm trying to clean away but don't know how to. ><;; They used to say stress is caused and then you break out but I never thought about that. What I do or am starting to believe is that I have white hair on my chin and sometimes on my head, and my one friend said that was a cause from stress, I mean I'm stressed all the time, my face doesn't break out, it's just not "clear".

Waited to see if anyone else dropped by, oho. Anyway yeah, I can understand the quality thing. If you can turn out an epic CD album design, though, I say go for it. That is if you find yourself with the time. Don't need you getting overwhelmed by all that, but doing something like that if time allows it could show a potential look if things go well. I would totally like to see that cover, too! I'm always up to see some awesome graphics made by people. They usually help inspire me to commit myself more to really getting serious about photoshop and turning out something great. White hair also can be caused by stress, so if you do have it maybe that's a thing? As for me, I just gotta keep cleaning my face. Hopefully this stuff will be gone soon. Bugs the hell out of me to have something right there on my nose. e.e; |

@ DA- Thanks, although I'm definitely not as good as you are. >.> And I think that you should make a tutorial! Well, if you have the time and motivation to make one and whatnot. Judging by that graphic you made, there's probably a lot I could learn from you (And the other GFX artists around here would probably learn a few things from it as well). Also, I'm not that much of a fashionista. >.> @ Shuy- No problem! I feel the same way about my works, I know what that feeling is like. And thanks, I'm going to need it. School has been a bit crazy for me these past few days, and I know it'll be that way right on up until the finals. All of the teachers are giving us a ton of work to do on a daily basis to finish up whatever we're learning now as soon as possible and in preparation for the finals. [@Shuy] Yeah I'll show you then, or uL pictures of it. I think it's pretty neat actually. The thing is I need inDesign to use it, since you mostly make the project in there, and even before when I went to school I had to go to the dorm's computer lab to use inDesign down there. I could do it in Photoshop, but the measurements would be off. I don't really wanna spend money on all the materials though, it'll just be a free digital dL. There's no way I can charge people for it, but I will copyright it personally. :) Well when I dye my hair brown or blond then the white hair will probably be less noticeable. It sucks, acne around the nose is probable one of the worst, although if you have a big stash, that sort of helps a well. It hides it. XD [@Toyumi] lol, you're probably better at using brushes than me now. Most of the people I see here make the same sort of avatar and signature, layered within dozens of brushes, which isn't bad. Since going to college I had to ditch that for a while and learn more fundamentals, which people here don't have. I should teach people about typography, since that I think will really help people. Maybe I'll make one in the future, but people and artists are always welcome to PM me for tips for any opinions. lol, I'm kidding about the fashionista, don't get too out of shape about it. Ha! Before you said you weren't one at all, now are you saying you are one? ^_~`

@DA — Oh, so no Photoshop for it? That should be interesting. Haven't seen other programs besides that use for those kinda things, and haven't even heard of inDesign. I'm interested to see what it can turn out. and yeah, be sure to copyright no matter what you do, which is a given. As for muh acne, it's like on my nose, so the stash can't safeguard against that. :[ @Toyumi — Ouch! I hate when classes try to cram like that before finals. Luckily I haven't dealt with that since early years in highschool. In college classes so far, they don't really do anything different right before finals. They have the normal curriculum and just keep teaching stuff, and you're expected to get the normal stuff down and get your final paper/project in [if you have one] and then take your final. They don't ease up on what your being taught before finals, but they don't suddenly start cramming everything either. Just the same pace as always. Least in the classes I've had so far. Hopefully that doesn't change in the fall. O_O; |

[@Shuy] Okay here's photos from the project, I took these months ago before I left and moved home:           To explain it all, here goes. First off, don't mind the false company logo, I coudn't find a larger SM logo so whatever. The dates and the info on the expo one are false, lol. Never happened. I had to print these out in good color mounted paper and mount them onto a black board. The CD paper however was nice paper at staples, and for each member it was a single piece of paper since it's 300 DPI. I had to then cut them out and use tape on the other side and make this huge like 10 picture thing that you can stretch out. All my stuff's in the basement in my GFX bag so maybe I'll take a current day picture of it all. It looks pretty sexy when it's all folded out though. The last one, the cover is printed in the center, and I had to stick the CD on it. I had these things on the back of the CD like velcro or whatever you call it that comes on and off. Cause the poster was like how it was look in stores and whatnot since that was one of the requirements. The first image was like extra, or I forget what it was for, but the next one would be for like billboards and whatnot so simple it was. I think that was the one we needed cause I remember I made that on the morning of finals and printed it out and mounted it. But yeah any other questions ask me.

lol, do you know how to quality on being one? I like dressing nice, but I'm not a fashionista. I don't like wearing like fancy hats and scarves. Regular winter scarves is fine. I'm no G-Dragon. Typography was really easy to learn, and honestly I self-taught myself before even finishing HS and entering college to learn more of it. The teachers never taught me anything that I didn't already know or would later find out myself. It's something that's different to people to understand, because it depends on your eye. You have to think outside the box sometimes and sometimes you have to know when to be simple. I always prided myself on fundamentals, they're the best thing any GFX artist will know. I mean people will learn to just play around with brushes, but without even knowing fundamentals they're very limited and sometimes have to learn backwards.

I expected an album cover, back, and the stuff inside .. I never expected such detail, and so many things to accompany the album itself. Not to mention, oh man, if you told me that was legit I would believe you. That LOOKS like a legit SNSD album, oh man. The poster, the album, the jacket, everything looks so awesome. That's just .. Wow. Yeah, if you can tell, I'm more than a little impressed. That's amazing dude. I really think I should study up and learn Graphics from you. If you do any kind of tutorial, or just have basic fundamentals or techniques you want to pass on to an eager and ready to learn student, look no further than myself. [@Shuy] Yeah I went a bit above what I saw as examples, plus it was obvious I was going to do something asian. I made a magazine (cover, plus 2 pages) before with asian related whatnot, but I got warned since I randomly used Korean, if I can find that I'll show you, too. But I think that was either in Quark or InDesign so I'm not sure if I have an actual .jpg of it or not. I'll check. (actually, I do have it, cause we had to export it via PDF, so I'll uL the PDF and show you) Back to the album, I was sort of lucky I quickly came up with what artist to do, cause I was randomly searching and decided to use Black SoShi cause I found all their pics in FULL quality. Now professionally, GFX designers have to work in 300 DPI, which is hard as hell simply because of finding large pictures. So those pictures were like crazy large wallpapers that I had to re-size slightly to fix the 500x500 px size. After that really, nothing was hard. The way we had to lay out the cover though (the folding elements) was really confusing, but since I couldn't get it to work and I worked with like 10 images for the cover alone, I decided to print it regularly since I had to go to staples anyways to get an on-time grade for finals. Everything else I did, the billboard, poster, all child's place. Simply, matching the album, done and done. It looks better in person though, not to brag. But I love it cause it almost is like a real SNSD CD. ^_^ I can definitely show you tips or whatever. Sort of unsure what to start with a tutorial thread, but like I said before, if anyone has anything they need to ask me, I'll help. I haven't really made any random PSD projects since I don't really work with anime renders anymore, but yeah I've learned quite a bit over the past two or so years. I'll uL that PDF if imageshack can up it or whatever. Just mind the false-random Korean on the pages.

It's been a while since I checked back on this site. xD Anyways, welcome to the new members. =3 @DA: I have to comment on your Girls' Generation stuff. xD I just looked at the pics first before I read anything and I seriously thought it was legit. Insanely amazing work. My mind has been boggled. xD @keiri: Lol. I'm not 100% sure what a hangover should feel like, judging from my friends' descriptions, so I just go with it and say I don't get hangovers either. xD Anyways, there's not much new happening to me. Just going back to my hometown to prep for my sisters wedding. Oh and my mom sold or donated the TV in my abandoned room without telling me. xD Oh I started playing this game called paradise island for Android. It's probably one of the most painfully slow tycoon style games ever. What's new for you guys?  |
