Pokemon: Shite animation, shite music, shite plot, shite characters, the only thing going for it was that Mewtwo kicked as...but then he was emo :( Papa To Kiss In the Dark had the worst ending EVER for a yaoi series. Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles was just seriously boring, I dropped it after 5 eps. Vampire Princess Miyu has nice music but the episodes are incredibly boring, I dropped it after the first one... And Fruits Basket was waaaaaaaaay too unrealistic and it was too lovey dovey >< Wathc Utawarerumono! Utawarerumono FTW! xD  |

Song, if you thought Fruits Basket was bad, you should definately avoid Fushigi Yuugi. I watched it, but it was so over-the-top shoujo nonsense that my friend and I ended up just watching it to laugh at the guys (especially Tamahome) saying things that IRL they could never say with a straight face. Notice, though, that I'm not saying it was the worst anime I've ever seen--besides the shoujo ridiculousness, the characters are interesting. I'm going to have to add S-cry-ed to the worst list. I wasn't impressed with the animation, the storyline mostly dragged, none of the characters were sympathetic, the music was forgettable, and the ending was stupid.      |

Hi guys long time no post! Mine would be Neia under 7, the opening song itself is bad. others would be Dear S (copycat of Chobits). and I don't know but, the last stages of Initial D is becoming more boring, that is why I didn't watch it. You started with a good plot and ended with bad, that I think is really bad, even worst. You can make something bad at the start and bad at the end or vice versa. But this one is a shame. I love cars BTW. |

i dont think ive seen a horrible anime, everything ive watched, i liked. though i guess Bobobobobo was really stupid, thad have to be my least favorite. everything else, i enjoyed.

And this is where I try to defend some of the things so unfairly bashed in this thread. In regards to Akira -- Keep in mind that a)it was made before most of you were even born and b) It was never intended for a young audience. However, Akira helped facilitate the spread of Japanese anime into the west. For it's time, that is, the late 80's, it was very advanced. Compare it to some things from the same period, such as Sailor Moon. Akira is much more detailed, much more meticulously animated, than anything of that sort in those days. As well, it contains many symbolic elements vital to the philosophy of Japanese culture in the post-war period. As for Lain... It's truly not for everyone. Like Akira, it's not meant to be something that has a gigantic fan base with toys and mascots and a million spin-offs. However, even on it's own it stands quite well. Those that take the time to watch it, and understand it, and understand some of the themes behind it, will find that it's a rare jewel in the anime vault. Having finished it just a few days ago, I'm definitely glad tat I bought it. In some of the later episodes, it's clear that the writers definitely looked into what they were doing. Real historical figures and events are referenced, and made to tie into the plot. Very few series bother to take that time. Oh, and quit bashing FLCL. Haruko > everything. |

Ok firstly, Dragon ball, IS NOT THE SAME AS DBZ... DB owns DBZ ez, + it owns InuYasha and pokemon and digimon and all those other crappy tv anime's u guyz are goin on about >_< FLCL would be the WORST anime I have ever seen, althought I admit InuYasha is pretty bad too. =P Dragon Ball is aimed at a younger audience, so if you dont like it, check ur age? What are you, 12+? Yep too old, unless u got alot of inner child like myself! So go back to watching Berserk Hellsing etc etc !! Ok thats my ....dog.... at all those ppl, dun take it personally, Im an A-hole =) ...  |

i hate.... pokemon --- was cool.... BACK IN GRADE 5 >_> digimon --- popular but is now gone. yu gi oh or w/e u call it shaman king ---- gay.. no comments. naruto... too much fillers... got annoying stopped watching. Dragon ball -- annoying and old. Ramen --- very annoying and very old. Boy be --- old. gundam cuz when they fight it shows the same secenes of them shooting... if u kinda noticed. for example. its likes " AHHHH, TAKE THIS " boom... it hits a ship, and then he's like " AHH take this again!~!!! and then it hits the same ship that was just there a second ago... how unrealistic.. and the one i hate the most is yet to be found. |

yah I agree with the above post, gundam is liek WTF, I meen like, they are flying around in giant robots etc, AND THEY HIT THE SAME SHIP!?!?!?!?!? HOW UNREALISTIC!!! OMG OMG OMG WHERES THE REALISM, THERE BIG FLYING ROBOTS SHOULDNT BE ABLE TO HIT THE SAME SHIP!!! OMG and Dragon ball is good when ur younger, so u got no rite to bag it out unless ur young, same wit pokemon and digimon (personally I dun like them either). Its like bagging out Playschool or sesame street because its too childish... FLCL SUCKS !!! |

although the maker of tsubasa chronicles is the maker of cardcaptor sakura.. i've got to admit.. it is a little boring...=.=;
