Athrun - becoz he's the only pilot who hasn't been beaten in seed mode.. Oh Yeah! GS - Athrun(SeedMode) VS Kira(SeedMode) = draw GSD - Athrun(SeedMode) VS Shinn(SeedMode) = Athrun wins Bigtime! Hah, Athrun lost when he tries to escape from Zaft and nearly got kill lah. My vote is on Kira Yamato. Go,StrikeFreedom, Strike for world's peace!!! Any chance on season three?

*sigh* must I choose between the three of them? *sigh* vote for Athrun, the best.... only of them three Kira just spammed those linear guns and almost all of his enemies don't move as in, fight back fiercely, look at his enemies who fight back fiercely (don't count Shinn, he sucks :p), SF is prone to a high level of damage

Kira and Athrun are about equal when going all out. Shinn doesn't even compare since if either Kira or Athrun got serious in a good suit, he would be dead before he could react, I mean he spent forever planning how to beat Kira and took advantage of Kira's unwillingness to kill by making it so that Kira couldn't disable him without killing him basically... Athrun, really strong when in seed and still better than Shinn without seed, has the potential to beat Kira but he can't control his seed and he's a confused wussy most of the time Kira, really strong and controls his seed, but he doesn't kill people and his suit isn't as good at disable single units in close combat but still a wussy who doesn't kill at all... in the end... Kira wins because he has the coolest girlfriend and sister.

lol , i personally think KIRA YAMATO is the best pilot , why ? coz he can control his action & react without any second thought , and he doest pilot with emotional feeling while for ATHRUN he's just so confused with the things dangling around his life so he cant concentrate while piloting ' same goes to SHIN , both of them sux bwahahahaha XD

Amuro is the best pilot. Personally, I hate Kira. He was okay in SEED, but in SEED Destiny it got ridiculous. Actually, I wrote a rant about it this morning: Click here Oh, and I like Shinn better, but I don't believe he's a better pilot. |

we all know that Amuro is the best pilot (I prefer Kincaid or Touhoufuhai though) but we are stuck with these 3 options ^^;; There's a big difference in pilot capability between Amuro and these 3, newtypes are evolved godlike humans whereas coordinators are simply enhanced

I go for Kira Yamato,gmeis's favourute fan.. The way he use freedom in battle is awesome and cool too especially when the seed of destiny is burst open....
