OOC: Yeah i know time is moving slow at the mooment. i'll try to speed things up a bit... [Nadia][Outside of Museum of Modern Art/ 2:45 AM] As Nadia was talking with Fenris, two more people came up, ones that she didn't recognize. One stayed quiet, and Nadia thought that she might have seen him somewhere before. Then again, you see many people in the city, Nadia thought. The other one decided to speak up. "Hello," he (Tor) said, "You guys know a game about cards by any chance?" "Sure I do," Fenris said. He took out a deck of cards, "Do we play?" Nadia was a bit confused at first, but then she smiled as she got the little joke that Fenris was trying to pull. Or maybe he doesn't want other to know about it, Nadia thought. Either way, Nadia played along. "Sure," Nadia said, "I know how to play cards. But what game?"  |

[Sakuya][Seward Park/ 2:35 AM] "Ah, I see," Hiroki said, "I would love to meet her as well, but apparently she doesn't like me already. Most people at least know me before they run off in the other direction like that." He chuckled a bit at the thought, and then continued. "So, is it alright with you if I get your opinions on how the night went?" Hiroki asked, "How you feel about what has happened so far and all that." He smiled a bit as well. "And don't worry," Hiroki added, "There's a reward for you at the end if you tell me your opinion on the game. I promise." "How I Feel, huh..." Sakuya scratched her not itchy head while staring at the ground. She definitely can't describe this feeling she just experienced now. "I Feel glad, for being able to meet a friend of mine for the 2nd times. Even if it's just a coincidence. However, at the same time" Sakuya paused as she made a sad looking smile. "Being forced to fight her earlier, that's kind of painful...." She turned her head towards the direction in which Alessa has run away earlier  |

[NYC, Outside of the Museum of Modern Art][2:30AM] Tor starts to play along with Fenris. "I wonder what game we're going to play..." He plays with Fenris and Nadia while he's planning to interrogate the both of them on what they'll know. They look pretty suspicious. "So, why are you two still up in the middle of the night by any chance?" ------------------- Going to think more about this. haha...

[Hiroki][Seward Park/2:45 AM] As the young girl told him her thoughts, Hiroki only nodded. So they're not totally opposed to it, he thought, Unlike those few from my time... That's good. We don't want another occurrence of what had happened... "Thank you," Hiroki said, "This really helps me. As for your reward..." He lowered his voice, and leaned in. "Tomorrow. 9 AM. Somewhere on the Upper West Side, a card will appear. That's all I know at the moment, it's up to you to find it." He turned and laughed as he walked away. "Now, that was a great reward, wasn't it?" He called out behind him. He then crossed the street, and went down into the East Broadway Station. [Nadia][Outside of Museum/2:45 AM] "So," The guy (Tor) said, "Why are you two still up in the middle of the night by any chance?" "Hm?" Nadia questioned, "It's night? I thought it was early morning!" She giggled a little at her comment, despite the fact that it wasn't really funny. She was just trying to play around with this man. "Well, let's see," Nadia continued, "I felt like going on a little late-night adventure, and I'm not going to school tomorrow so I started to walk around and found myself here." "As for him," Nadia nodded her head over to where Fenris was, "He wasn't sleepy, so he went for a walk. Now, what about you?" She smiled as she waited for him to reply. What goes around comes around, Nadia thought. |

[Outside of Museum/2:45 AM] "Ahh...AHAHAHA!!! I guess it is morning right now, yeah." As Nadia explains what she and Fenris were doing before they met at the museum, Tor recollected his thoughts for a second. He silently stared into space and thought, "Hmm...I might be going a little too friendly with them...maybe that's why they joked at my serious question and I seem to be acting like a cop (Haha!!) They might think I'm trying to get pass their defenses so I can gain their cards when they obtain one. I shouldn't get ahead of myself then." After recollecting, Nadia asked, "Now, what about you?" He answered, "I woke up from a nightmare and want to breathe some air...not fresh air since were in NYC AHAHA!!!" He hopes that one of them asks about the nightmare he had so to prove that they have some connection to it. -------- @Toto and Fenris: One of the two of you must ask me about the nightmare so I can at least write something long LOL

[108 W 71th Street | Home][Feb. 10th, 2010, 02:30 AM] LuÃs wakes from his sleep, feeling completely recovered. "Wah, now that was good sleep. What time is it?" He asks himself, while aimless searching for his clock on his bedside. He founds it and looks one time, then another, and just to make sure, another one. "You got to be kidding me, only half an hour passed?! But I feel so... refreshed... How can this be possible?" LuÃs didn't get it a first but it then thought that it may have something with all that card game that he was summoned not so long ago. "Oh well, nothing better to do so, let's go for a walk." he decided, grabbing his coat, wallet and heading outside. Before heading to the street he gazed at the sky, The sky sure is pretty tonight. [W 53th Street | Near the Museum of Modern Art Entrance][Feb. 10th, 2010, 02:45 AM] He walked around for awhile ending up for a strange reason near the Museum of Modern Art, Strange, I never came here, but I suddenly feel a need to come to this place he thinks while analyzing the building from the top till the bottom, locking his eyes on 3 people gathered on the ground. Homelesses he thought people that don't have the same luck as me. I should give them something. While taking his wallet out and pulling 5 dollars out of it he approaches the group. "Here, you can have th..." He suddenly realizes that they aren't homeless, that they are just a normal group of people with weird tastes for where to sit sited on the ground, playing cards. "Err... Desculpem... I mean, I'm sorry!" He tries to excuse himself, mixing a little of portuguese in the middle because of the surprise and the weird situation. "I thought that... I mean... It's just that..." He stops talking for a second and brings himself together. "I'm sorry about that. It was not my intention to insult you but..." he makes a small stop before doing his question "what are you doing here in front of the museum?" After making the question he realizes that he kinda know those people. The girl and the spiky hair guy from the incident on the street, but the other guy, he was familiar, he couldn't just remember from where. He decided to wait a little bit before making any questions about that, he could be seen as a stalker or something like that. Is this meeting, and this sense of familiarity, just a coincidence? he thought while waiting for some kind of answer from those people.  |

[Outside of Museum| 2:45 AM] Tor lets out a sigh as 2 random people came by and went in into the conversation. Strauss: "Why would you tell your problem to a complete strangers, like us? I find that odd" Tor then stares at the man who just arrived. "It's better to share your problems with strangers since they won't care." Tor faced Nadia and Fenris when Luis come by. He continued talking. "Can I decide the game where playing?" Tor asks Fenris for the cards. -faces Strauss and Luis- "Would you two come join us?"

@mumu- Stop changing the story, you completely ignore my character, the fact that my character was at the museum from the very start, even Toto saw me, another thing you have yet to met my character in protector form, for my character does not have the element shadow, and my character have yet to meet the user with element fire and metal. So stop changing the story. i suggest you reread all the post before you start posting anything. |

OOC: @zero He was probably talking about me, since I kinda was lurking around their battlefield. He may had misinformed about the 2 people that came by since you were already there, but the rest "almost" fits the storyline. How he managed to see me that time and know just by looking at me out of protector form that I was the one in the shadows beats me, but he may have some plans to explain that in the future. |

@Zero: thanks for telling me. I did messed up on this. The post that I typed before this didn't come through and I had a hard time recalling it. I typed what's best for me to go on a route to leave the scene. -bow- sorry. @Luigi: Haha!! Thanks for backing me up but Zero is right. ------- Oh yeah, the post is re-edited to your liking now. [10 West Apartment Tower Lobby | 2:50 am] After an extended run, ??? finally made it home. It seemed like Sakuya either couldn't or didn't want to chase after her. Alessa was still silent in her mind. She thought about going for other cards for a moment, but realized by now one of the other players had gone for them. ???: (Guess I should just sleep..) At that moment, she saw Klaus walking out of the elevator, with a dead serious look on his face. His cell phone rang after a moment, and he stopped in the middle of the lobby to take the call. Klaus: "...Not there either huh?" ???: (I should just make sis appear someplace nearby- maybe the best place to go is...) She looked around for a moment, then saw the only person manning the greeting desk to the lobby leave. It was a good place for a random appearance. ???: (Well, I have no idea how to turn back, but this is all I have to do at this point.) ??? jumped over the counter and sat under the desk, and closed her eyes. Eventually, the same receptionist came back, and took his place back at the counter, he was surprised to find a young girl with short white hair fast asleep under the counter. Receptionist: "Isnt this the Costana Gi-? Ugh...!" Klaus firmly head the receptionist by the collar of his suit before the man could finish his sentence. He spoke again into his cell phone calmly. Klaus: Robert, I found her. Get everyone into the lobby now."   |

"Ha, guess you don't pay attention," Nadia said as she pointed at the boy (Strauss), "He already said he didn't want to play." She then turned to the other person that had joined them (Luis). "But will you play too?" Nadia asked him, "Want to play cards?" Nadia tried to act as cute as she possibly could. What else can I do, Nadia sthought, I'm surrounded by a bunch of guys! She then shook the thought off. She then turned to the guy (Tor) before she continued. "As for the game," Nadia continued, "I know you said that you wanted to decide, but can we please play 'Go Fish'? I want to play a game that everyone should know about." "Oh and we should introduce ourselves first. I'm Nadia." She quickly added. |

"So, what are we playing?" ????(Nadia): "As for the game," Nadia continued, "I know you said that you wanted to decide, but can we please play 'Go Fish'? [NYC, Outside of the Museum of Modern Art][3:00AM] Fenris started shuffling the cards again, listening the others introduce themselves, this was certainly the oddest place for such a group meet and none of them knew eachother. He felt the same sensation as he had few hours earlier. Feeling that everything wasn't quite what it seemed, he decided to see if he was correct in this thing. Fenris: Pleased to meet you Luis, Strauss and... you (Tor), I'm Fenris. He then stopped shuffling the cards and added a one more card from his pocket to the deck. Then kept shuffling it. Fenris: Well, it seems like we all have some reason for being here. He stopped shuffling as the card he had added came to the top of the deck. Fenris: Let's see if the Black Wind blows still. He placed the card onto the bench. It was a blank card with Destiny written across it.   |

However she's thinking about what he just said earlier. "Tomorrow. 9 AM on the Upper West Side, a card will appear. Hmm... I Wonder if he's telling me the truth." Sakuya took out her cellphone and put a reminder on it, in case she forgot all about it. She then walked casually towards the bike she parked just outside the park. "A Beautiful night, isn't it... Too bad that I didn't get to enjoy it earlier" She leaned on a wall nearby, beside her bike as she gazed at the moon. |

OOC: @ Renma- i never really predicted this little late-night meeting... but it's always fun to have twists in the plot. ^^ i'll try to make it go a bit faster and speed up time... this rp seemed to have a problem with time from the beginning. ^^; [Nadia][Outside of Museum/3:10 AM] As they all introduced themselves, Fenris was shuffling the deck of cards. Fenris: "Let's see if the Black Wind blows still." "Black Wind"? Where did I heard that? he then recalls the man that shouted something similar in the middle of the road some hours earlier. Does this mean... something? Fenris then turns the top card over and places it on the bench. The card was blank and had "Destiny" written on it. Luis stared at that card for a moment, in a mix of surprise and fright. Wow, wow, "Destiny"? This is getting spooky. The last time I heard that word... he then realizes something Wait a minute, that old man said something about "The Cards of Destiny". Card, Destiny... is this guy trying to say something?. It was really beginning to feel very weird. Nadia: "What's that card for?" He saw the cute expression in her face from just a moments ago vanish into a mores serious face. Did she realized it too? Is she also involved? LuÃs: "Are you trying to say something Fenris?" Seems that we can't really run from our destiny he though while recalling a line he heard before and that bizarre gathering. OOC: One line per 5mim, now we're moving fast! XD Btw, according to Google Maps, there aren't any benches in front of the museum, at least that I saw. Just wanted to point it out. :P |

As he ponder on it, he heard Nadia say,"What's that card for?" Tor thinks that Nadia CAN'T be part of the game. The next who reacted to the card was Luis asking, "Are you trying to say something Fenris?" -thinking- "So, Fenris and Luis are most likely to be playing this game as well. Luis reacting like that says everything. I need to know if Strauss is part of this. I need to play along further." Tor pointed to the card on top and told Fenris, "Ahh...that card will act as a joker for the game. So, I guess that's how it is, huh." Tor then went back to think. "Hmm...if that's the case, the only thing to do now is to lose and take/steal that card and make a break for it...wait...thats pretty risky and I don't like to start another fight. I guess I should leave that alone and focus on knowing the players of this game first." "Shall we start this game?" ---- OOC: If that's the case Luigi, we're either standing on the steps or sitting down on it LOL
