@ichvon: I am currently working on the Book of Quasars (yes, the actual design of the book). I haven't seen FF9 so I need time to research the characters. I will start on the characters design ASAP once I get some ideas. Looks like just one 19 year old boy and a bunch of villagers (Not the Mercury Villager, for those who might own a mini-van ^__^). BTW, where can we post the artwork? Can we post them here? @Key: thank you for your detailed info and feedback. I look forward to working with you and all of you. I will do my best.  |

@Ich: So I should try to pin down the exact dialogue of this? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ flashback pages -first pic, show part of village -second pic, show kid playing and running -third pic, show one particular house -fourth pic, show room with open door (view from outside) -fifth pic, show that room with a boy inside (the room look like a storage room) -sixth pic, show a girl arrive in front of the room door saying(what are you doing?) -seventh pic, show the boy looking at the old dusty book (look at this!) -so on^^, show the the girl went toward him (what is that) -show the boy observe the book (i don't know) -still continuing the sequence girl(should we ask before?) boy(nah, its fine) -the boy open the book flashback ends here (not that it is flashback^^) ~view from inside the room~ -pic show door being open -a teenager around 19 coming into the room (there you are, we've been waiting for you, what are you doing here anyway?) -the one inside turn around showing his face "he is the main char", he was sit and reading a book, the turn around mean that he only turn his body to see who is coming, not stand up from his seat (i was reading this book i found) -the teen shake his head then sigh (well then hurry up, we can't start unless you are there) -the.........."mean the main char->doesn't have name yet" (alright) -the ............ close the book and stand up and going to leave -upon the door he turn back and took the book with him -he close the door ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ If it is, I had the idea about the flashback, but I need to know, are the boy/girl in the flashback the same people that are in the 'current" time. In any case, Key, you need to tell me what you are thinking as the plot twists and who exactly who these people are so I can easily get my mind around the dialogue. (Pm or email or Skype please) Also, about those books. I'm not sure whats going on with them. Are there stories about all three that we could do, or, what....? Another question, if we are making this for Gendou members or something, shouldn't we have a website or something separate the ideas while anyone could at all of this? Keep it like a surprise for everyone else. (I could possibly make a forum for something for such a thing and we could post simple questions or public project update posts...

So the idea of just making a thread or editing the first post, is out of the option, eh? If anyone needs me, PM me like Ich has. [edit] I found my old doujinshi a few days ago and such. This was so long ago, when I was actually drawing whenever I felt like it (in the mood). I wish I can post it, but I can't, and also some of the pages are missin', too. D: With this, it can be used as an example, because I think it was pretty well made.

OK. Since Ichvon haven't said anything about posting art work, I will post mine here for now. Feedback and comment will be greatly appreciated. Here is my first design of the Book of Quasars. If the color looks weird, please let me know so I can convert them into web friendly colors. With this, I am off to research FF9.  |

Very nice, but if it's supposed to be old, I would think it would be more worn (but with Key description, I can see why they might not, but I feel it would look better that way... And like Ray said, you dont have to worry about color unless its on the cover.

You know, now that you mention it, I don't really have to color it do I? (Smack head against wall for realizing stupidity). As to the condition of the book, I imagine it has self healing power so it would look prestine. But I could be wrong. It would be Key's call on this one. |

Nice job so far, w/o you ^^ I dug up one of my own doujins and see if these manga effects are fit for our manga.  If these kind of effects are right for the manga, please tell, if not, please give other suggestions ^^ this effects are the least on what I did XD  |

@without you NICE WORK!^^ love your design! @ToD if possible we need an extension site for gendou....to our manga... the profile would be the same except of they want some changes... TO ALL THE STAFF WHO WANTS TO CHANGE THEIR PROFILE, PLS PM Terror Of Death FOR CHANGES @Ray nice idea bout the extension site...*although im also thinking bout that^^* @Imppy that would be our effect!but the boxing would be somewhat like the one they use here...*ill show it later....* ill be posting the sketch later....*im working with it right now*

Imppy: I think I have seen that doujins before. I like the layout and the artwork. Very cool. Here is my first hack at the first character of the story. Comment and feedback are greatly appreciated. I tend to draw characeters that have normal human size, not chibi size. Let me know if I need to change anything.  |

@ Without You Great job so far! His costume, expressions, everything! It would be nicer if you can make a reference picture like different views of angles, etc. so it wouldn't be hard for you to maintain his appearance on every panel ^^ But what Ich said, the eyes need more toughen up, but it depends on Key's story, on what kind of character he is (did Key mention about the characters?) @ Ich I see, I get it now :3 |

@Imppy:by reference pic, do you mean the full length figure on the right? Key did mention that the character is kind, so I gave him the kinder eyes. I will definitely try different angles like you suggested. That's not a problem. As to the eyes, I will need Key's feedback. Thanks for the great comment, ichvon, you too. ^__^ |
