this is tough to answer, not because it's difficult but because both are disterbingly evil. Pokemon had better games but digimon had a better anime. Thats my 2 cents on this strage topic

Yeah! My friends and I have been debating this for years, on and off... Frankly 1.) Leadership- Digimon 2.) Storyline- Digimon (Seasons 1 and 2) 3.) Techniques- Pokemon (for quantity), Digimon (for quality)* 4.) Cuteness- Pokemon 5.) Adventures- Digimon (again, Seasons 1 + 2) With a 3:2 victory, you'd think that I believe Digimon is better. Well, you'd be wrong. Seriously, they stopped the series too soon, the last season was not great (by comparison to the others) and they could have made some Digimon's deaths less lame**. Pokemon rocks now and forever. If anyone tells you different, tell them to go through the kaos_master (#182, sector G, 324 D.D. Drive). *Seriously, as much of a Poekfan as I am, I'm not going to stand here and say Psychic and Hyper Beam could beat Giga Cannon and Ice Wolf Bite. **One of my problems is that the seaon enders are usually so anticlimactic. Apocalymon tries to destroy the universe, digivices contain the blast, MaeloMyotismon on the verge of ruling the world, the light of the kids wipe him out. |

leadership - both are great...the cooperation between the tamer-digimon and trainer-pokemon are awesome..right? storyline - digimon has a better one..it stories more various than pokemon, but pokemon is more comedier..(did i spell it right?) techniques - digimon and pokemon tech are so many, and it's interesting..but both of them are using the same tech for one poke or digi.. cuteness - pokemon has more cute pokemon than digimon..and there are some that are cool..in digimon, ther are some that cute, but most of them are cool.. adventures - what's the different between this and storyline? overall, i like them both..i like to have WarGreymon (agumon ultimate digivolve-right?) from digimon and Lugia, Mew2 from pokemon the movie..kekeke.. |

I've liked them both for sometime, but I'll have to say Digimon has a better story... especially the forth series I'll be waiting here. So if you come here, you'll find me... I promise. |

pokemons are cute! digimons are cute too! so................. both are cute! they deal with friendships so i like both. animals are adorable, so both are really good!  don't draw! as a knight of heaven i am bound to answer steel with steel. *van draws* foolish boy. |

With Digimon: - u could make them change in a minute With Pokemon: - u have to gain experience for them to evolve, and that would take forever For me, Digimon is a couple of notches above Pokemon. If Pokemon wants to catch up to Digimon, then they really should axe the repetitiveness and give Ash, Misty, Brock and etc, some way strong and way cool Pokemon. It's so boring to see 'em have the same types all the damn time. And also, they should be able to carry more than 6 pokeballs at one time, there are over 300 pokemon for goodness sakes!! |

@chiyo84: they could only have more than 6 if they became renegades outside PokeLaw. its the rules that a trainer can only have a max of 6. maybe they should have some sort of crazy mix of digimon and pokemon. Here is my idea of how this could be done: A super-rich billionnaire that is absolutely fascinated with pokemon accidently awakes the Almighty First Pokemon (Trademark). This pokemon sees how all modern pokemon are slaves to humans and are forced into pokeballs and sets out to destroy humanity. It (neither he nor she) strikes during the Pokemon League Tournaments all over the world. killing off all the strong trainers that could oppose it. Killing, real killing. For some reason Ash and his friends are not at the tournament. He fails to qualify. The remnants of the Pokemon World Authority approve the creation of an elite force of trainers to take the First Pokemon down. Naturally, Ash is recruited. Thus begins a LONG quest of catching really strong pokemon using advanced pokeballs and ultra-violent attacks. Getting stronger and stronger, culminating in a huge battle where Ash and a huge group of commandos battle and defeat the First Pokemon, Forcing it back to sleep. And the balance of humans dominating pokemon is once again restored. I know this is not exactly 'Pokemon' any more. but you gotta admit it would be a great deal more interesting then the poke-rubbish we have now.

Pokemon VS. Digimon(Story, graphics, etc.) Digimon for its great many stories and kinda nice graphics. Pokemon VS. Digimon(Fights each other) Without a doubt POKEMON. Why? Digimons can die while Pokemons don't. Pokemons faints or sleeps only while Digimons needs to be revived by returning to eggs. When Pokemons evolved, they don't return to baby forms making them strong. Digimons return to their baby form when they are tired, hungry or defeated. Over all RESULTS POKEMON is better. Atleast for me that is.
I love anime so much, I spend more time watching than sleeping!

even though i'm not fond of either series.....i would choose digimon...at least it has a decent storyline going.....even though it's the same w/ every series/saga..."SAVE THE DIGITAL WORLD"...hey @ least it's better than pokemon's worn out storyline...meet some gay friends....battle battle battle....win most...lost some.....ooo look a rare species/pokemon!!! yea i thought that series was gay from the start...but wow...it sure did whip some ppl~!

Digimon had more attraction for me than Pokemon...despite the fact that I watched Pokemon first. Digimon could speak to you...which was more than I could say about the Pokemon...and the storyline seemed to actually be more interesting and evolved than the same old save the day from Team Rocket storyline...
Sincerity never was my strong point
