So if you believe in those ghosts whatever, then I guess you are faithful to them. Masama pa naman yun kasi the devil is playing tricks on you... >.<

Rin, believing is OBVIOUSLY different from having FAITH. I have faith in God although I haven't seen him in person, nor has anyone else. I believe in ghosts just because they really exist.

Faith is stronger than belief. Keep that in mind.

I just wanna say that one of the scariest places in the Philippines would be my room -- seriously. If you happen to enter it without prior notice, you'd think you just entered a jungle... just like that in LOST. Oh well, mahirap kasi walang panahon para maglinis eh. Mukha talagang horror yung kuwarto ko.

I dunno about ghosts, sometimes people think beyond normal if ever anything happens beyond reason. I'd like to think that there are ghosts, however, since I haven't seen one, hindi ako magsasalita ng tapos.

I also remember my nanay's ghost story back when she was about my age and they were still living in Cavite. She hears noises down the stairs of their old house in Silang. When she goes down to take a look at who's there, she sees nobody. She also saw floating things...

Ghosts don't scare me. I even want to see one.

existence of ghosts is because there are lost souls
If you have a strong faith in GOD,
you don't have to worry if you see one,
what you need to do is pray for them
because, they are not yet saved yet...

they laugh at us because we are different, we laugh at them because they are all the same!!! KAWAIIIII!!!

Scariest places in the Philippines? well...YOUR SCHOOLS!!! every school has its ghost since it is very quiet during the night time and summer time. or in CHURCH and in the HOSPITALS!!! that's all the scariest places is! The least you expect it to be scary is the most frightening place it would be. We all have a third-eye or a sixth sense. We don't see ghost because we haven't developed our sixth sense and it's because we just merely think that what we see is just a trick in our minds.

Quoted from Lady Rin. "I know you Phillipinos(?)like to talk to each other however it would be nice if we could understand you. Would you also tell me what language that is please, for some reason I think it's Portugese. And what does Pinoy mean?
Imagine what it wold be like if you didn't talk to each other.
A nation silent." --> I completely agree, Lady Rin.
Lady Rin, here's some answers to your question...it's Filipino not Philipino...(just being polite). And our language are based from different countries but mostly Spanish since we are colonized by the Spaniards many years ago. and Pinoy is a short term for Filipinos

People please try to post in English so that everyone could understand what you are posting. This is an international forum. Thank You...

I said too much but it must be said...Sorry...just speaking my mind off...

^_^v PEACE OUT!

Its been over one and a half year nang may natulog dito. XD

wow! I haven't seen this thread before! I've heard that this thread is locked in the past. well that's a good news! but we lost the Kmusta mga Pinoy d2!!! thread. well that's life. you gain some, you lose some...

this is my first post in this thread so here it goes...

I really never actually encounter a supernatural being that will make me really freaked out. (and I hope it stays that way!) when my friends starts to tell scary stories, I'm always left behind because I don't have any experience in those supernatural stuffs so I just listen to their stories like it was nothing to me and I really like to watch horror movies. I always act calm when they start to scare each other but to tell you the truth I'm really scared when they tell scary stories! I just don't show them my fear but at the same time I really enjoy listening to ghost stories!

@jaydel

an engkanto inside your room? maybe it also wants to use your computer and sign-in for a membership here at Gendou! if that happens, take a picture and post it here! an engkanto using a computer! wow! you dont see that everyday! ^_^

maybe all of the schools here in the philippines is being inhabited by unseen elements. every school has a ghost story to tell and also on retreat houses. the teachers tells ghost stories about that area and so the students will actually believe them!

Aria we allow the Pinoy's (thank you for telling me and I hope it's not derogartory) to speak since in some instances that is the only way they have to communicate with each other. Most us us have no problems with it aon one of the mods here is Filipino.

I also now understand why it seemed a familiar languae to me.

The school I went to is haunted. There are a number of spirits living there. I have also had several experiences around the world although I have not had one for several years.

@Lady Rin: Ok. I was just concern with people who couldn't understand what we were saying.^_^ No, it is ok to call us Pinoy. I would try to be more dicreet in choosing my words. ^_^ anyway, thanks. Oh hey!I didn't know that there was a Filipino mod now.

Ok I'm going to stop now. It seems that my post is being pointless. ^_^

To be fair, I also experience something unusual when I was attending High school in my country. The funny thing about it, I experienced the "supernatural" thing at day time. Most of us, think that ghost only appears at night time. You are wrong! Cause I was able to experience a "supernatural" thing on mid noon. To think, noon would be the least time you expect that ghost could appear. But anyway, ghost are always present whether what time it is... ^_^

[edit]@rukia-san: I read the "Philippine Ghost Story" v. 5. I found that it was a reaaly great book but some of the stories are like kids stuff. I mean some stories were like for highschoolers...hehehe sorry if i offended anyone...I like hard core scary stories.

^_^v PEACE OUT!

well, mine is a first hand experience... and you know what, seeing them just standing was worse than being chased by a bunch of jologs holding deadly weapons...I felt like my blood was about to burst out of every hole of my body coz of fear... never been chased by one though exept in my dreams(and it was so realistic)...sorry but I can't share anymore than that, they say "talking about "Yure" encounters will provoke them to do it again" and yet we're so far from november 1 hehehe... Ill say that the scariest place here is either the haunted place wherein you'll never get out alive or the haunted place that you can never leave (quite a torture living with) example is here on my family's house or ,if it is, maybe THERE... O-SU-WA-RI (BOOM!) ja-ne may the holy light shine upon you hehehe!

(AND THE HELL WITH THAT SOUND! IT"S CREEPING ME OUT! I'M ALONE HERE!)

I've been in haunted schools ever since my elementary, high school, even now! And my university is one of the famous haunted places here in the Philippines! (XD) And I'm sure these people already know what..., nope, not University of the Philippines (UP).

Once, when me and my choral members were singing this Monday mass, in the middle of homily when we were attentively listening to the priest, our head teacher whispered something to us... a ghost walking around the benches not far to our left... but he told us to not look in that direction. So we just kept quiet and waited for the priest to finish.

Ergo: Even ghosts linger around sacred places... That got me into thinking, but maybe it's a good ghost after all. o_O;

Though, I haven't seen nor felt something unusual, not even a chance, but I do have friends who have third eyes, who stays in haunted dormitories, who live in their grandma's house (usually old and haunted), who can't see ghosts but can feel their presence; so it's not my fault If I do believe in spirits 'n stuff. Not to mention those ignorant fools who'd engaged in spirit of the glass, spirit of the coin, etc. Well, back in HS, some of my classmates had the chance of contacting a spirit... ~silence~

Anyways, I aslo believe that we shouldn't bother spirits, or they'll retaliate in an unexpected manner. We have our world, and they have their own. We pray for spirits to finally reach heaven, that's all. :)

Lam nyo ba ung Philippine Ghost Stories? (LOL)

i know a haunted house...
its our house lol...but seriously speaking almost everyone in our place tell us that our house is a haunted house because when they pass by they say our house gives them the creeps...well i do believe in them because our house is old...we got it from my lola...

and btw i haved experience the horror lol...i have lots of experience here......one night i was left home all alone...so i watched t.v. and then while im watching the t.v. it went off[not brownout]then the door from my parents room opened but not fast, slowly and had a squeeky sound XD its goes like eeeeerrk...then a cold and strong wind came in x_x i was so terrified i never moved...i sat and was shaking until my family came back...when i heard them coming i run and opened the door then stayed beside my mom...and then sometimes ill hear someone calling me or my mothers name outside...but when ill go and open the door theres no one there...when i told that to a friend of mine he said "dapat hindi mo binuksan ung pinto kasi ligaw na kaluluwa yun pag nakapasok yun may gagawin siyang masama sainyo"[dont open the door because thats a spirit and if u let him/her in he/she will do something bad to u or your family]so now when someones calling outside i ask first who is it when it doesnt answer back i dont open the door...x_x another experience of mine is with the vcd player...because it was near the bed...i would go to bed and then hang my head outside the bed's boundary...and then the player would just open and play the radio...it happened a lot so i was not afraid when it happens again...but lately i dont feel anything...thats so good XD...[buti nlng wala ng nagpaparamdam nasanay na nga yata ako sa kanila lol]

Kimmy-san, will you stop posting nonsense? You're not helping at all. I cannot afford to have this thread locked because of you people, so please cooperate and post sensible things.

May Filipino mod dito, pwede nya burahin yang post mo dahil walang kwenta, gusto mo ba yun? o.O

Sensya, winawarningan lang kita. At least may idea ka na diba? Well, since this thread talks about your experiences with ghosts, why not share yours? ^_^

Read & Obey the Rules here pare...
