Athrun alll the way!!! he beat kira (strike) with his Aegias, btw they still didnt say how kira survive the blast, just said he was found on the beach by the kids..... and also note that kira ALWAYS gets the best gundams. cmon, renewed freedom with dragoon system.. a bit too cheap dont you reckon? shinn doesnt know the real truth and thinks he knows what he is fighting for, always getting manipulated by his gay buddy rey and the chairman. in the last ep, he STILL charged at athrun while luna was in front of athrun.... wth psychopath lol also, he got mad at kira for killing stella but what about Neo/Mwu?? he PUT her in the battlefield, after promising to give her a peaceful life, why wasnt shinn mad at neo??

I like Athrun... but... Well, when I play GBA, I find Kira's character easier to pilot, so... Kira, it is! Besides, he's the protagonist, so, no doubt that it's him.

Shinn i shoot down because he is one of those Avenger characters "Omg.. Sis... Mom.. Dad... i will so avenge you ;_;" which is annoying... Kira gets manipulated so much its ridiculous and then when he finally stops being manipulated he becomes one of those characters that just sits and waits until the s**t has already hit the fan to bother doing anything(Gundam Seed Destiny). Athrun definetly although he has the role of the "Warped Soldier" during the first series he was always doing something, hats off to him ^.^

i'd say kira, because honestly, he prefers not to fight, and fights for a good reason. Athrun and kira seem equal, but still, asuran got the military training!! (refering to the manga) Well, shinn...though he seemed like the amin character, he seemed to be brushed aside in the second half , and plus he acted like a brat here(honestly)!! stella was the enemy!! killing people and all, he could have at least disable her right? And i believe kira could have beated shinn if he REALLY did wanted to kill him, but he doesn't want to kill!!! And there really isn't different...methods to disable someone right, well..less then the killing methods.
