I happen to know that miyamoto is a teenage boy. He also eats pelicans (hehe, just kidding). He also says that the Chinese eat the brains out of monkeys while they're still alive, but I'm pretty sure he was pulling my leg X_x  |

Oldcrow I meant what I said. You can go google for it if you want concrete evidence. Hehe I may be funny and kiddish and all, but I never mince my words dude! Unless I say that I was kidding/joking or I wrote something out of boredom, what I say is said with heart :) And yes the Chinese in China eat monkey neurons while it's still alive and kicking.

i was stung by a bee in the corner of my eye in third grade, and it got infected, and that's why i have glasses... o.O

Wow...how would you do that, miyamoto? Wouldn't the monkey kind of squirm around? @_@ I guess maybe if you held it down and sawed open it's head...and had a fork ready...seems pretty gross to me... |

Well, the monkey eating part aint throughout the whole China, just regional delicacies if you know what I mean. In my own ancestral area, it's steamboats and dogmeat. Yes, we Chinese do eat them, young ones, they dont eat old dogs because those dogs are respected for their contribution to people. I ate like a piece of it once, tastes like those rubbery parts in pork. Some eat cats and field rats too, I saw what i think are field rats hanging on a hook in a court full of butchers selling their stuff. Cats are eating when they are old, coz cats are hard to raise to adult, in China anyway. The monkey brain eating part, what they do is put the monkey into a hole in the middle of the table and uses the clamps there to clamp onto the monkey's head then use a circular saw and start cutting the scalp open. Once it's open then the brain is stirred around a little then the eating begins. It's a cruel tradition I know but everyone can be just as cruel unless everyone eat veges but I dont encourage that kind of hard core vegetarianism. |

There's nothing wrong with a regional. Although I would never eat monkey brains or any other kind. The regional specialty here is rattlesnake.  |

I ate snake meat broth before when I was living in HK. It's so yummy. No, there's nothing wrong with regionals Lady Rin. Just wanted to point out that eating monkey is not throughout China, just some parts, as is eating dogs. Actually, eating dogs is more widespread in China than monkeys. Australia have croc meat but I never got op to try it. Should be yummy. |

O_O SPIDERS i fear them!!! and snakes... THose small legs crawling on you XD SCARY!!!! and snakes are just freaky all together.  |

I'm not bothered by spiders or snakes. although I did have to over come a fear of both. Tarauntulas are welcome here. Their so beautiful and there's something about letting a spider that weighs and ounce and a half walk up your arm because you don't feel it. Snakes are a part of life here usually seen in the early morning or late evening. There is nothing to fear from either since they are not aggressive. |

you can easily get crocodile meat in Thailand, off any croc farm. very very delicious, and is said to be good for those who are asthmatic. and as most typical Thai delicacies go, croc eat is also reported to have aphrodisiac effects.

| spiders are good creatures but it's their look that get me reall freaked out. Little spiders are alright, the daddy long legs are ok too, but I just dont like big to giant spiders, their look really give me the creeps. I admire those who let them crawl around on their arm. |
