What about karaoke versions that have a background singer doing harmony or something? Cuz I downloaded Colors (karaoke) by Flow on here but there are harmonies in the chorus or Something

Duets are allowed :) One person, one entry. Multiple entries will be disqualified. Contestants might use old recordings that they have uploaded in youtube or anywhere else before...after all...the contestant is free to pick which song to use as an entry. Like I said...as long as the song doesn't have profanities, then everything is fine. If a contestant decides to change the pitch of the song to suit him/her then that is fine too...but yes...if you sound like a chipmunk or like a dead person...then your score will suffer ^-^ RayStormX: That's fine. Some songs come with chorus in the back...I have no problem with that. Archdevil: Like former judge Hitomi said...yes...you can do whatever you want, as long as you have the proper music in the background. Azhri: If you have problems finding an instrumental or karaoke. I might be able to help you. Let me know which song. About the other problem...if there is a buzzing in the background of your recording, then your production score will be affected. :( |

Naoki, that date has not yet been determined. I suppose it might depend on how quickly the slots get filled. As information about each round is decided upon by Pame-chan, it shows up on the Gendou Idol Season 6 page.

Hmm...I have two questions. Question 1: already found answer xD. 2. In page 0, it was said the following: "*Song Selection: Like the names says it. This criteria is all about the selection of the song. Does the song chosen is suited for you? Does it match your range? Does it show off your voice? For example, a male contestant picks a song sung by a female. Some people might be able to pull it off. If not, then points will be taken away in song selection." Then, in this page, it was said:"If a contestant decides to change the pitch of the song to suit him/her then that is fine too...but yes...if you sound like a chipmunk or like a dead person...then your score will suffer ^-^" so I'm confused. For example, if I decide to cover a song that has a female high pitched voice, and my voice is extremely low pitched. By using that song and singing it one octave down, do I lose points in the 'Song Selection' for it not being "in my range"? Or do I not lose points because I sounded decent enough, and not like a chipmunk or like a dead person(lol at example, btw xD)? Thanks in advance. @Avengerz: Rapping precludes singing, so yes, rapping is frowned upon :( @Archie Blaye: If it sounds good, I'll probably give you a good score. If it sounds tweaked and unnatural, I will probably give you a bad score.

Bluey: You know...there are a lot of contestants who sing the same song...and sadly comparisons happen. But really don't worry about it, just make sure you do your best ^-^ There are some songs though that I almost feel like banning because EVERYBODY seems submit it as an entry...after so many times of listening to God Knows or Just be Friends...I feel like shooting myself XD But no pressure...pick whatever you want :) |

There's always going to be that one popular song everyone wants to sing. On the bright side, you get to see the same song sung in different ways. Just hopefully not 30 times. |

Good luck Mody! :D Suvi: Yeah...Many contestants pick the same song...and it gets very boring after a while. I am seriously sick of God Knows...I only enjoy it if I hear a voice that wows me. |

| Hmmm... It says not to use AutoTune, I get that. However, you are allowed to make a song an octave lower or whatnot. I understand that too. My question is: Are we allowed to tweak the recording a bit, but ONLY in the area that if we DO hit said high note too loudly, or something happens where we're too soft, are we allowed to change the volume of the recording using Audacity or something of the like? Thanks! >.< |

Tsukiki: Yes, you are allowed to balance the volumes of your recording. That's really the purpose of the mixing process. Good luck! :) |
