Thank you sailorkagome654. Here's a link to one drawing that I did of Malon of Lon Lon Ranch from Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time. I know the name is cut off... I told you I wasn't too good at scanning. And I know there some things wrong with it, but Im still proud of it. Its imitated of another original work so dont be surprised if you see it in color. This was WAY before I started drawing my own and differently. Now I draw more like Love Hina style. Thanks again. yes i do drawings... especially anime!!! hehe :D i've started drawing anime when i was in elementary.. back then i used to draw comics/manga. My classmates liked them.. then i stopped, i'm only good on drawings, not in making stories, so by the time i'm in highschool i only draw posters for my classmates. Sometimes i draw anime faces on scratch papers to kill time.. what i like about them are their eyes.. hehe! but now, i rarely draw, since i'm too busy with college...  |

My biggest problem in drawing anime anatomy was the hand. Good thing was that my art professor in high school brought with her, her former student who was one of the pioneers of an anime magazine. He taught us the techniques of how to draw Kenshin and Rei Ayanami and the hands and feet. It was fun. Her former student told us that once we get to draw Himura's head, it would be easy to draw Rei's. A little practice and we'd be able to draw the more difficult ones. He even drew the Gundam Mobile Suit using the model he used to draw Kenshin's head. The model was some rough sketch of a circle... Hehe...just had to say this. But I'm really fond of artists. They're cool. |

I draw anime too =) I do agree with Rui that hands are the most difficult to draw. I started as a fine arts student, and quit drawing traditional art after i started drawing anime about 1 1/2 years ago >_< hahas.. i draw basically everyday for some game companies -_-, seldom do pencil sketches nowadays and uses a tablet to draw. ^-^ |

| In my case I kinda had to learn the hard way. There was no one else in my community that was really into drawing, so I had to learn by seeing other people's artworks from mangas and stuff. I used to download so many pics just to stare at it and try to redraw it. Like the Malon pic I drew, I said it was imitated. It was really hard at first because I didnt have any pointers at first. On stuff like what kind of pencils to use and how to do expressions. I still cannot really express my own wants in what I draw and do in a way thats confident, but I'm workin on it!! |

ohw wow old man kai! your artwork is REALLY GREAT! ive loved the way ya drawed the girls eyes, they were really cool looking! ow and "rui", i am 2 bad at drawing anime hands...i suck at it...lol! Lei, i just havt 2 say this that the best part i like is the anime eyes too! my friends always ask me how i draw soo good and if ive ever had classes, and I just say i had not becouse ive only practice by myself & once ive said that there really shock...^-^ lol well good luck 2 all the people who r in college, i wish yall the best! ;) ps. & pie i want 2 give ya tip about drawing anime, just keep trying until your friends go "#o#"...lol |

i used to be an avid drawer, but then i just fell out of it. i still doodle once in a while, but it's been a long time since i've really done anything. here's one of my drawings:  click for larger image yay for blue hair! ^_^ excuse the diagonal lines and whatnot, i drew this on the back of an envelope.

Well... I'm an indie manga-ka, so I draw anime on a regular basis... though my parents don't like it ("Real people can't have eyes THAT big!"). ^^; I use different kinds of tools to achieve different kinds of effects. I usually use blue/violet pencil to draft the drawing (nothing speacial, really... just to leave my "mark" since I'm the only one in school to use violet pencils), then use good-old HB lead to define it. I used to finish the drawing using tech pens, but they blot a whole lot and they're pretty much expensive, so I opted for black gel pens instead. Works for me. ^^ As for colors, I usually use color pencils; they can be quite versatile and are a lot of fun. I also color using Photoshop, when I have the time. ^^ I don't care what they say, but drawing anime is lots of fun! ^^  ��空����愛��人よ? Kono sora no dokoka itoshii hito yo? |

Wow, you guys seem way better than me... I like to draw anime too but I've been kinda out of it lately. My drawing arn't awful but their nothing great. (I'm new by the way, hope I'm not intruding or anything....x.x) |

I draw, just not alot... I draw only when I'm in a good mood... THEN I go ALL OUT! I even went as far as drawing a 6 feet tall Ban and Gingi (Ban being a little taller) pictures on my room WALL! And colored in with... COLOR PENCILS! I was going crazy! When I finished just with an outline of Ban and Gingi, I wanted to color them so badly! So I found a couple of boxes of color pencils, and yeah, colored... My parents were TOO proud of me, and made a party for no reason for me, and kept taking pictures (I hate getting spoiled)... So that's when my, I-draw-when-I-feel-like-it mood was made, so I draw at least twice a month, 10 at the most) Here's one of my pictures I drew a long time ago...
