The keychains were made by my Otakuthon friends~. I'll surely nudge them to make Tales of the Abyss keychains. One of them made Vesperia keychains~. AHH, THAT'S WHAT I WANTED. I wanted a Luke figurine. ;n; Gotta add that. No worries, Narunaru. @Kirakira: Ahhh got'cha. Will bare in mind~. LOL I'm so envious of what you have. ;n; Also, what's funny that you heard of the ToV movie?  |

I've really wanted to get those trading figures too... most places I've looked on the net are already sold out. Abyss was my first tales game-, it happened to had just have a price markdown and I really liked the cover... never went back after that! Vesperia is pretty great too! Of course, Mystic arts will actually kill you (as in abyss, you could actually backstep from some mystic artes if you where lucky) I'm still crossing my fingers for a US release of the PS3 Version... darn all the extra features...!   |

You guys sure are really active here XD @Kira: yea Tales of Graces looks like a definite bye. It's just so interesting. it's captuirng the ToS2 theme of a 2 person party, but this time, you dont get monster companions like in ToS2 @Kratii: OMGF! you ave so much merchendise! you need to persuade your friends to make a Decus Keychain! That would be the bessssst! @Ugo: just keep lookin, thats the best advice i can give ya :P @all: i was dissapointed at how fail ToS2 was. There's so much things they couldve done to make it better. 1) POWER DOWN THOSE DANG MONSTERS! As youve noticed, monsters level up faster than the player and get overpowered really fast which takes out all the fun of the game. I can't tell you how many times I was going for a 100 and up hit combo, then my fenrir comes in and tempest's the enemy away at 99 hits :c same goes with my Orion. 2) Also power down the mystic artes. The mystic artes in other tales games were weaker. In Tales of the Abyss, I'm lucky if my MA kills one with one use. I know for a fact, Razing Phoenix and Radiant Howl dont kill one hit, as where Devil's Hellfire from ToS2 killed with one use, in fact, it even OVERKILLED! 3) Make the storyline better. I think it wouldve been better if you fought against the heroes of world regeneration. Like get Richter, decus, Alice, and Hawk as party members. And maybe even Brute and one point. But fighting with the HoR who couldnt even level up was pointless to me. I think they shouldve fought against them. Per say, it was a race for the Centurion Cores. And the Hor were trying to prevent Ratatosk's awakening. I think it wouldve been a much better game.

to reply haseo: @3: so true the HoR levels topped at friggin' level FIFTY! I went "what the hell?!" @2: dude at level 200 (which is the level I got Emil and Marta on) at the end of the game where you fight Lloyd/Marta I used a MA to kill Lloyd and Marta died in ONE HIT! So did Lloyd, but I didn't want the bad ending. @1: pff I only leveled my monsters up to lvl 100 and didn't use them after I got one of the HoR on my team. And why the hell do you get to play with Lloyd at THE NEAR END OF THE GAME?! plus you can't have Emil or Marta off the main party...what the hell?  |

@Naru: There are some things I discovered in ToS2 over the summer. That you can take Marta out of the party, and have Emil+Monster+Monster+Monster(all level 200)= pure cheapness. Its not fun when the make that. Even the last boss in Gladsheim wasnt a challenge. And the thing with playing as Lloyd, the only strength of him is his speed. his attack speed is horrendously slow, which means he wont land too many hits due to blocks. Level 200 is max. I hated having to fight lloyd and marta, since i was too beast. Marta reverted back down to level 50(which didn't help at all) They did one damage to me, even when I had the weakest armor on. Their criticals were also one damage. I dont know why their MA's were turned off on that fight. cause they never activated it on me. i think they did that for spoiler reasons. I was very dissapointed in this game once I played the first ToS game. At first I thought it was great but it didn't out really fail. I mean heck, emil wasnt as fast as Lloyd speed wise, but he sure did attack a lot faster!

@Haseo that same thing happened to me...but I skipped Gladsheim that place was confusing as hell to go through and the HoR on my team kept dying... When I fought Lloyd and Marta, I just unplugged my Nunchuck and went to do something else. IT TOOK THEM A HOUR TO KILL ME. By the time I came back, it was on the second fight and half my health was gone. And with the HoR in this game they are slower and their hits don't do as much damage. I mean look at Regal...in ToS1, I made him super-powerful. In ToS2, he's the weakest character out of all of them. |

Thought I'd mention my second playthrough of Abyss ( WITH 10X EXPERIENCE, MAH GAWD WHAT INSANE LEVELING O-O; ) is at SHurrey Hill, right after St. Binah fell. It feels so weird being level 66 and just being here, when in my first playthrough I was at only level 71 and beat the final boss rather easily. This playthrough though, I'm gonna be fighting the ultimate boss ( Nebilim is the name, I think? ) Where you have to get the special weapons, then fight it on the snow continent. I plan to be at least 100 before I do that, and at this rate I may hit the cap! ( Cap is like 200, right? Or is it 150 ... ) I also wanted to note, Luke's Berserker Costume is one of the most epic attires from any game I have every played. I've worn it my entire second playthrough, making it funny at the beginning when Guy mentions Luke got a haircut and then they make a joke and it's believed Luke is just wearing a wig! xD!! |

Shuy, I started my Second Playthrough as well. I also got the berserker costume a bit cheeply though~ i turned it on hard difficulty then fought the map mosnters by Baticul. It was really easy to get but took a while. And lol to the jokes guy made. I also plan on fighting Nebilim in this playthrough. On my first playthrough, i beat final boss at about 55. I didnt have enough grade to get 10x exp but i got 2x exp

Lol, when I was fighting Hard battles like crazy at the end of my first playthrough so I could get the berserker costume, I also did that so I could get alot of grade for the shop; cause I got that 10x XP and also the ` more grade ` thing, along with a few other things in the shop. I plan at the end of this playthrough to buy up the entire grade shop to make my 3rd playthrough just insane. |

Am so jealous of how much stuff you guys have >3 I barely have any figures in my room, let alone some of the other Tales games. I only have like 3 or 5 tales games xDDDD And so far my fav has always been ToA >D Finished it so many times, after all it was so fun kicking Vaan's butt at the end.   currently CLOSED. woah woah woah guys, thread almost died :x I want to know your guys' comparison and preferment on Mystic Artes. There's a wide variety of them but theyre all different. As for Emil's Devil Hellfire, I thought it was much too plan compared to the other MA's in ToS2. All it was was a bunch of slashes, followed by a pillar of energy, the only thing special was Ain Soph Aur which was really weak and a waste of TP. It was the least original in that game. Now Lloyd's Divine Punishment MA was really something with an epic lead up to an epic ending. I liked Zelos'. In my opinion, his was the coolest and strongest. In TotA I'm going to have to go with Guy's Divine Overloard. Pure WIN right there. In ToV, I'm not familiar with the names, but I like Yuri's MA+extension. When I first saw i I was like "*.* ooooohhh...swirley..."

I do have a slightly urk feeling we're subconciously in combat... ah! But dont mind me! i'm just thinking aloud! @ Haseo: In terms of mystic artes, my favorite would be Kyle's Zankuu Tenshouken. Just has that honest "Overkill finishing move" feel to it. For More recent games- lets see, in Abyss I'd go with Luke's Lost Fon Drive- though as underwhelming radiant howl (His normal MA) I find it amaiable for being short and straight to the point- plus considering the ion extension... though I do still really like Yuri's Savage Wolf Fury- builds up tension. (I didnt know it had an extension though) @ Ink and Shuy: Whee- me too! Abyss still has a special place for me not just because it was my first tales game. Will always remember Luke's major character twist. Me and my friend always try to beat the Baticul cameo team battle on unknown! (We usually get blasted apart with spells or combo'd to death by Reid >_<. |

@ Haseo — Since I just know Abyss, I have to go with Luke's Radiant Howl, Jade's Mystic Cage, or Guy's Raging Phoenix. I havent got to see Luke's ultimate Mystic Arte which requires you to press like Square, circle, and X, but once I get the Key of Lorelei in this second playthrough I will get to see it O_O @ Ugo — Rofl, I havent got to take on the cameo team yet. Haven't even done the coliseum yet, but I will during this second playthrough. ~ |

wait...theres a cameo team? AND I DIDNT KNOW ABOUT IT?! I would be watchin the Hi-Ougi exhibitions on youtube and there was a fight that wasnt in the story. mightve been the cameo team. it looked like it was in Daath so i thought it was like a fight against Lorelei XD One of the enemies had red hair. I'm guessing that was the cameo team. Time to head to gamefaqs lol

Lol it's some characters from past Tales games, Im not sure on the exact people though. I know they are some of the hardest fights in the game, though. But yeah, Gamefaqs has plenty of information on all that, at the Baticul Arena. |

Isn't Arche on the team? I'm not sure what Tales game it is, but it looks lke Presea but she doesnt use an axe. And Arche is the closest person in Tales that looks like Presea. Ugh I forgot o lent my TotA to my friend and I was freaking out that I couldnt find it last night. He was supposed to give it back to me today...he forgot. Figures. I want my TotA game back so bad. I only got to use Shadow Fury, the FoF of Swallow Fury once :c

LOL I use Shadow Fury alot, but I never really mean to. It just happens. And as far as the team goes, I have no idea - haven't looked. I also haven't played Abyss in nearly a week. From being somewhat busy to getting sick, It's been mostly Gendou and bed for me, or hanging out with a few friends, haha ~ Though, Arche sounds like a member on the team I read about awhile back. |
