I heard the noise DA! Too cute :3 This episode was pretty awesome, funny how it turned out Mugi~chan's papa owned the music store :D. I loved the counting job where Ritsu started forming a beat. She's wicked! xD Mio was awesome in this episode too, I'm loving both the opening and ending songs, they'll be available for d/l soon won't they :). Bless Yui and her short attention span. This show is just a moé-overload, as I said before. I'm loving it.

Hey guys, I'm following this too.. was waiting eagerly for it ever since i saw that cover with Yui and her guitar (although i din know what her name was back then). Girls with a guitar are just so MOE ~~ I'm a bit different from the norm, my fav is Tsumugi XD Mio comes a close second, though, but almost everyone who's watched K-On claims Mio as their waifu.. And yes, Mio does have a chest to brag about. X3 Probably Tsumugi as well. Their school blazers are designed that way, slightly loose.

i was looking at the show's homepage and the cast got their web radio show going. cool thing is when they started recording the show, the cast had to form a band too. seems like they're beginners just like in the show lol |

Saw episode two, and I think people might understand why Mio is going to have a large fanbase. Her appearances in the episode just made it seem like she was the more popular one. I liked how when they were talking about jobs, she started to over dramatic situations. XD It was really cute when they were at the guitar shop and she had a flashback of the time she bought her bass. And friggin' Ritsu, who I thought was cute/awesome in this episode, "bargaining" for her drum set. Yui's outfit when they were on their first part-time job, rofl! How old is she? But it was really cute. Her seiyu is awesome, but I'm trying to figure out what recent role she did! Wiki doesn't have a page of her, but I know she was in a recent anime I saw/finished. >_<;; ROFL@YUI, ROFL! Her song! Does anyone else recognize it? If you've seen Suzumiya Haruhi no Gekisou, ROFL~!! supersugoihigh5KyoAni if that somehow was a base of it, unless it's something that's a beginner's kit in Japan or something for musicians. I like their dream of playing at the Budokan! I love when anime characters mention it (FMP? Fumoffu for ex.). Oh, the beginning of the epsiode was cute. Yui has been with Nodoka forever! T_T Yui's smiling determination, she could definitely be Haruhi's little sister (by appearance only, haha). About the OP/ED themes, what do you guys think is your favorite? I like the OP a bit better than the ED since it's way more catchy, but no disrespect to the ED, I love the ending, but the OP, I think, is so better. [@DF] You can't really, or can't in general compare this to Lucky Star, in any way, shape, or form. :P They're not alike, I don't see many similarities at all yet, and yeah one main thing is that Lucky Star did not have a main storyline/plot, K-ON! does, a simple, yet fun one at that.

@DA nah~ In the first page some people compared it to lucky star... It almost made me gave up from it XD And i agree about Mio! She is totally cute +_+ I'm thinking to track down a image from her in her ending clothes [black dress and hat] to do a sig +_+ |

@DA: I agree that the OP is quite catchy, only listening it for the first time and the song stuck to my head xD but I'll wait for the full version before fully deciding, since the only thing I think was off with the OP was that it lacked in something (idk how to explain) Well right now, I love both of them, with the ED being better for me. -- well here's something I found, the instruments of the girls!  those are quite expensive xD

@DA I think Mio already had a substantial fanbase before ep 2 was shown, but yeah after this ep her popularity will prob skyrocket. My fav's still Tsugumi-chan though XD Yui's 15, just like the rest of them. I actually think her lil sis is kinda cute too. I wonder what's her name? Quote: ROFL@YUI, ROFL! Her song! Manga covers:  And the Haruhi comparison:  And erm.. beginner's kit? not exactly :P As depicted in ep2, that Les Paul Standard costs 250k yen (roughly about USD 2.5k, i think). Definitely not something you'd buy as a beginner XD I hope Yui gets real good at it by the end of the show. The rest of their gear are quite good too (as shown by Darky). As for the OP/ED, the OP is catchy, but my vote goes to the ED, just because Mio is singing it (factor in her shy personality XD). lol I made a bit of a reasearch on Kakifly (tha manga-ka of K-On) I say Kakifly's quite a fan of KyoAni animes as far as I've seen... hehehe somehow the opening song is somewhat becoming more interesting x3 but yeah you cant compare the OP and ED since its really way diffrent [ d a r k y ] - I already know that they were actually 5 but im not sure whether they will make it in the anime... and also the fact that this anime is based on new band members that are actually on beginners level.. I read that in dannychoo xD [ B K ] - thats really quite an expensive equipments.. for musicians, well the more expensive the better it seems xD awesome pics btw ;] >> saved <<

Nice to see you in here BK. And @ Dfly. I'm kinda glad it isn't like Lucky Star (I like LS don't get me wrong there), 'cos what would be the point in making a rip off series. All I could think was that there were a few semblances (like a trace of LS-age) in the show. But for me that was just down to Tsumugi making me think of Miyuki. But that's all for my K-ON > LS vibes I got. @DA, Ritsu was just amaze when she was haggling for her drum kit! And Tsumugi, I thought it was hilarious how the store clerk figured out she was the daughter of the President/owner of the shop by her eyebrows! ROFL. Classic man. @BK I think that DA was actually referring to the song that Yui attempts to play, that she's been practicing. As I've not seen all of Suzumiya Haruhi no Gekisou I wouldn't know for sure (there's alot of videos on Youtube man!) and as DA then went to say "unless it's something that's a beginner's kit in Japan or something for musicians"; I don't think that the DA-Taicho was referring to the guitar itself. They look a little similar but mainly only colour wise :). I really need to look into reading the manga. I'll probably own it aswell! But it'll take freakin years to get over to England. :( This show is sky-rocketing, I can't wait for future ones :) This might help you for Yui's seiyuu Da-Taicho! Haven't you been watching Akikan recently? :3

[@bkno] Yeah, I'm saying that if people don't understand why she has a fanbase already prior to the anime's release, seeing episode two might give you hints because of the way she was shown in every shot. You should know this since you've seen Gekisou. Hint: Daisuko Ono (Itsuki). When I say "beginner's kit", I meant the song she played as a beginner's song she learned (her first song). [@Kirky] Other than her personality that's cute, her thick eyebrows distinguish her cuteness, too. ^_~` And yes! I knew it was a recent anime I saw/finished. I knew it was from Akikan! Thanks for the helping hand. 15 points! I wondered off with Toyosaki Aki to Tomosaki Aki, an AV Idol... >_<;; But anyways.... yes, the anime's going to go large, one main reason is because KyoAni is building its ladder. It's good to see a non-drama anime from them, like Lucky Star, FMP, but I always wonder what's next with them since the largest anticipated anime release is still not ready yet. Mio's so moe, reminds me of Kagami a bit without the bit of uptight attitude at times. For some reason, I love Mio's hair, lol. Does that NOT make me sound bizarre? XD Glad someone bought up Kannagi's ending, which was also cute, too!

@Dfly, sometimes I surprise myself and make some valid points ;P. @DA, her eyebrows are indeed cute. She's yet to grow on me as the others have. I really like Yui's little hair clips. Haha, does that make me strange saying that :3. And no worries for the link-age, happy to help a bro out :P (wow, with manly talk like that no wonder people think i'm a guy ^^). And yay for 15 points, I'll write this down in my calender this will be the only day my experience points go up some! :3 I'm with you though, that it is really good to see KyoAni produce a show that isn't as dramatic as say Clannad was. I've just finished watching FMP fumoffu, and I have to say, it was the funniest thing I've seen in a while. I wonder where KyoAni will go next too. Anyways, people are linking this to Kannagi (a little bit atleast), was that show worth taking a look at? I've seen some pictures/avatars that some people have got from it, but I don't think it really caught my eye as such.

I like all the characters. I'm one of those fans that can love almost every character in an anime, especially the main ones being focused. If I have to put them in order, which is just temporary, and if I had to, Yui would be first, then closely followed by Mio, then Ritsu, then Tsumugi-chan. But just like Lucky Star, I don't like putting their rank on favorites since they're different and I love them differently (or more). Yui definitely grows on me, one main thing is because her seiyu is Toyosaki Aki and I LOVED Najimi (she was too cute). Just finished FMP? Fumoffu recently? Haha, nice job. I'm lucky to have the series, which I've seen like, five times. XD About Kannagi, before I had to get my computer restored, I was following it. I should dL it again since I lost the episodes over the three weeks, but if you've seen the ending, it's like K-ON!'s ending, or an ending with the main character(s) singing. Kannagi's ending is really cute, and what's really cool is it's really motion sensitive which is more attractive.
