Well it's not like the Hagane no Renkinjutsushi movie where it was like the "last episode", so-to-speak. Though now Ichigo is still stronger than Ikkaku. His fight with Grimmjow really made him stronger for sure, though I hope he learns a new move soon or something. It's like InuYasha and his two or three sword moves. :/ If that was Ikkaku's bankai, imagine adorable Yachiru's! O.o`

I love Ikkaku! And his bankai. That guy rocks man. Seeing Yachiru's bankai would be soo awesome! We've yet to see her fight at all (i'm only one episode 158 - and rising >.< ) ahhh man. I just can't wait for some more bleach action!

There's still a lot of unknown stuff we haven't seen in the anime yet, since there's so many characters, having each character with their individual special scene where they unlock their Bankai/Shikai for the first time would be kinda of a hassle, but definitely a treat. I'm not sure, cause this was during the Kenpachi/Ichigo encounter, but I think Yachiru was "close" to unlocking her Shikai, or we just saw some destructive pink Reiatsu from her when some messenger tried to interupt Kenpachi/Ichigo's fight. Other than that, I'm not sure if she ever unlocked her Shikai yet, cause she's mostly hanging on Kenpachi, which is so adorable (like in Memories of Nobody)! Her seiyu rocks! I'm sure by the Fall, we'll see more teasers after an episode for the third movie. I can't wait. I think Naruto released it's... second teaser for its second movie, Bonds.

hohohoho... Yachiru is already fearful without her katana when she wants to be *recalls the 1st time Ichigo was fighting Kenpachi and someone sent some news to Yachiro for them to go report to the #1 Captain (the old man whom I can never seem to remember his name) Yachiro scared the wits out of the poor messenger. But I do wonder how her bankai will be like... osoroshiiii~~~  |

Hmm, I forget. Are lieutenants allowed to have their own Bankais or just third seat and below? But I'm thinking if Ikkaku has one, Yachiru must since she's 11th Squad's Lt. and a seat above Ikkaku, who has one. I'm trying to think, but I can't remember seeing another Lieutenant's Bankai, if any thus far.

 Danchou Lol, how about renji abarai's bankai i've only seen his bankai than other lieutenants. that was a cool bankai lol , btw.. the 3rd movie officialy released on the december 13 2008. check the webpage of the bleach ^__^ [MODIFIED] i also made this but its just a vector.  gift from dearest danchou (devils-angel)

Well yeah, that's different though cause he trained with Ichigo when he obtained that level, though technically, that is correct information. In the OP credits, he uses Zabimaru against Byakuya, yet again and gets it shattered. Hmmm, wonder what the beef is this time. Also, info on the movie is posted on the first page.

From what I remember, only Lieutenants are allowed to have Bankai. Ikkaku somehow learnt Bankai on his own and taught the trick to it to Renji. At that time, he told Renji to not tell anyone or he'll get into trouble/they will make him a Lieutenant, which he doesn't want to. I think it was also mentioned somewhere that non Lieutenants are not allowed to practise/learn Bankai. |

Wait, Ikkaku and Renji interacted at this point? I'm pretty sure we all saw Ichigo and his three day progress to learn Bankai, and Renji (who previously lost), wanted to join Ichigo... Hmmm, it happened a long time ago though, so I wouldn't remember it perfectly. [sidenote] Also, if anyone is following the anime post in the "new bleach thread", thread.

Yea... Renji was there too... but if my memory serves me correctly, he didn't succeed in his 3 day's quest. He poped out of the hole (quite literately) and ended up asking Ikkaku to be his teacher when he found out that Ikkaku knows how to Bankai (can't really remember how it went). |

omg who here has actually seen it (still only in japan buut..) i saw it a few weeks ago and i was like wow awesoness i loved it and rukia looks so cool around the end XD it was a bit hard to understand in places cause im still learning japanese but i understood most of it and i really liked it. |

I saw the movie last night, overall it's not really that good in my opinion. I'm a big Bleach fan, I was hoping it'd turn out better than how it did. First off the quality and animation sequences were really, really good, definitely the best out of the three movies thus far. Ichigo using bankai against Renji to try to put some sense into him was really cool. The Dark Rukia/Ichigo fight near the end was really poor though, and I don't get how it ended. Ichigo stabs her with Zangetsu, but I guess that only killed Dark Rukia and split those two Homura/Shizuka (or whatever) a part? When I first hear about this fight I expected it to be pretty epic since it's Rukia vs. Ichigo, and I really expected to see a sad ending between the two after Ichigo defeated her, but no. The sad part (which was really sad) was when Rukia was screaming her heart out, then it started raining. That scene was very well made. Onto other aspects of the movie, there is absolutely no interesting, original storyline. Someone dear and surprisingly vital gets forgotten and memories of her vanish in Soul Society. Of course Ichigo would be the one to do something about this, and he even dreamed about it, too. :/ Seeing Urahara was kind of nice, but he barely did anything expect release Benihime (which is always cool). I think we saw more stuff from the Pendulum Arc, but that's a different story to compare to. Another cool part was when Renji wanted to go with his gut, and trust Ichigo (who he doubted as an enemy), then come walking up the stairs comes Yamamoto's intense reiatsu and some of the other captains. Apparently a fourth is not being made due the split in the anime and manga, but who knows. Kenpachi just unleashing in one transition is always going to be missed since that's the only thing he does in the movies, which is still awesome!

One of the awesome part for me was the time when Ichigo released his ban kai in front of Renji and asked him "Why Renji? Did you forget how to use your ban kai?" rofl Kon was on Ichigo's left shoulder, wonder why he didn't flew away because of the strong reiatsu from Ichigo Urahara sudden appearance was awesome too, rarely get to see him in that captain's suit :D we didn't get to see the the 3 other guys with him though O_o hmmm Byakuya's Senbonzokurou Kegeyoshi made a path through was nice too, an effective and fast way to pass through the hollows lastly Dark Rukia was great, i like the sound of her voice lol rofl Kon was left alone frozen without anyone noticing XDDD    |

Kon begging Ichigo to save Rukia was kind of sad (with the help of the BGM that played).
