just because I love to stray from the pack, I'll go with wealth, because I would want to work hard for my health, and money can buy the sort of happiness I'm looking for. of course one could argue that when you have everything you will have nothing, then I would look over at my religion, and feel complete T^T i run cross country. in terms of health I am pretty well off. happiness, well, life would be boring if everything was a happy ending ;D lol to each his own. nobody said wealth so I was wondering whether that was a result of group-thinking or it's just their values .

I'm going with Wealth.. because if you really think about it with enough money you can afford to keep yourself fairly healthy..and contrary to popular belief money does buy happiness. If it doesn't it buys you plenty of things to make you happy. |

Honestly... The very core of my brain tells me that 'Wealth' is most important in my life. Just as each of you are saying 'happiness' can bring 'health' and 'wealth' into a life, I believe something along the same lines, only pertaining to 'wealth' instead. Or maybe I'm just shallow? I feel that I NEED some sort of 'wealth' in order to have a happy life in my future. It might not be true, but that's what's most important to me at this instance. 'Wealth' doesn't only bring you sadness. |

with wealth you can stay both healthy (buy all the equipment,medicine etc you need) and Happy (even if its short term..happiness IS happiness after all) and think about how you can help others with that wealth... so i guess its a complete package with wealth! ^^ |

Well I also take the view thats happiness is more important than wealth. If you had wealth but you were sad wealth would be useless. XD As Kisa said if you were happy till your very last end you died with a smile on your face.  |

how can you ever know true happiness without sadness to contrast? what good is health if you lead a miserable life? how long will your wealth last if your health doesn't? there seems to be a downside in choosing each one.

All are essential in a way. Things don't come to this world uselessly. But I prefer Happiness. With happiness you automatically get the other two.

Wealth - because I'm good at being happy already, I don't need any more. And it's ok to be unhealthy, money = good doctors :P Plus money is a lot more versatile than happiness and health. In fact I could argue choosing happiness/health over wealth could be a bit more selfish because you can give money to people to make them happier by giving to charities, donating to cancer research etc, etc. But you can't really give others your own happiness or health. Money in the hands of the right people can do a whole lot of good. |

piece of cake: happiness. 1st: you can be rich and yet be sad. 2nd: you can be super healthy and still be sad 3rd: you can be dying and poor but you still are happy and I'm sure anything would matter if you're happy... happiness is good huh?   |

With Wealth you easily can get the other two. which is scary and sad because in today's society it's true, as long as you have the money doctor's will keep you fit and strong with implants, transplants, you name it. need a laugh? hire a circus. lmao. jk. but seriously. if you already have the other two to some extent, might as well go for Wealth. "3rd: you can be dying and poor but you still are happy and I'm sure anything would matter if you're happy" If someone wrote a book about your life, would anyone want to read it? Life is like a story, there are obstacles, conflicts, a climax, and a happy (or tragic, depends how you play it) ending. Being happy all the time would be quite a boring life. I'd rather experience it all.

I'd want to be happy. I'd rather spend my days with the people I love rather than having money or being healthy. But I am healthy and happy so yay! (not really wealthy just middle class xD)

Wealth, because it's the privilege of few, it'd give me power and influence. Health would be a close second, it's important but it's usually something we take for granted, not something to aim for. Happiness is just an effect, a feeling we get when life is good. It has no intrinsic value to me, I don't live for happiness. |

well, they say money can't buy happiness,but money can buy CDs, mangas, candy, clothes and basically all the things that make me happy. Heck, money can buy friendship even, not true friendship, but friendship nonetheless. Also, with money you can get healthcare or even a personal trainer [is that cheating?]  |

Happiness, obviously, for if one is always happy, then regardless of situation, they still feel a vital sense of joy, that they do not lose grip of. Happiness is a feeling that blocks out all woes unless it is tinted happiness* so there for i you have happiness in your life, then no matter how crap life gets you do not care because you are still aware of your happiness which has overcome sorrow. You see, with wealth and health, the person possessing these will strive to become better, in till they of course reach a point of happiness (see the link) but with happiness, you do not work towards it, and feel content and satisfied with the point you are at, because another meaning of happiness is contentedness, which means "to be satisfied". Concluding: Wealth and Health are two things you can never really be satisfied with, happiness literally means to be satisfied: Which would you rather have? *Tinted happiness: Happiness mixed with another emotion, eg. sorrow. Hope you like my decision! I wrote it as an essay when i was 11!   |
