Oh noes, DA, your read spoilers already??? XDDD Oh well, nothing wrong with that. I already finished watching all episodes. (Won't dare to spoil here ^_^') Why must L die, though? I don't get that. And why his death is heart attack? Is death by diabetes not real enough??? XDDD lols jk Maximum The Hormone, wow, that's the best badass Japanese metal band I've ever heard! The band has this System of the Down vibe~ and their popular song What's Up People--- wow, that's just plain awesome. :D |

Well Kira kills everyone through heart attacks. I think there are other ways to kill; I might've forgotten a bit here. And yeah I was reading when the second OP would be used, and I ended up reading the future episodes descriptions on Wiki. But yeah, no big deal though. I always imagined someone like L would die in the end. I just hope Misa didn't die or something like that in the end. >.<` And yeah, might get into more MTM. They're a good metal band, doubt the best though... but who knows. XD

^^ I really like death note as well~ 0_0 but the english dub is enough to make a tough man cry, I mean really, I dun like the dub at all. It's not just me, is it?

I haven't seen the original to compare, but I personally thought the dub is going pretty good so far. There's really nothing I hate or dislike about the dub, but maybe I want to check out Kira's/Yagami Light's real seiyu sometime. Misa is pretty cute, though I want to see how Aya does it as well. What are the points you don't like about th dub?

I love death note. I am watching it again in English, but i dont appreciate it nearly as much as the Japanese version. Sorry if this goes off topic a bit, but in the live action, was i the only one disappointed? They could have done much better with it. I couldnt believe they left out the other few characters and all the best parts of the anime. I think they chose all the wrong things to show in the movies. |

hello everyone as i am a budding fan of DN. at the anime - 2nd OP and end ED songs were good, i love more the ED song, if the animation was more good, it will definitely pass as an OP song. i think the animation is good at within the first 4-5 eps, then it sucked at the middle, then it became good at the end. well thats a typical anime trait. DN really is one of the most hit manga/animes i think this past few year.as it tackles social responsibility, love vs. hate, good vs. EVIL! ironically, kira is more evil than the criminals. keep on watching DN! |

I'm almost done with the english versions. Saw 34-35 just now and I love where this is going, yet it's coming down to the wire. I'm not sure if a release date for the full box set was out yet, but the DVDs have been coming out piece by piece. In a way, it reminds me of Zero/Lelouch in Code Geass R2 since everyone is against him and he hardly has any help. Here, Mikami is well aware of what's going on, as Kira/Light is. I know people who've already seen the Japanese version know what will happen to everyone, but I'm really looking forward to the ending here. It's getting really close. Though I think I've heard what happens in the end... guess I gotta find out myself. On another note relating to the anime, I've read around about Death Note, in reality. It seems the Death Note manga has been banned in a few countries already, for obvious reasons. One being people are forging a fake notebook to punish people. During school a little while back, I was wondering online where I stumbled upon an article on a man in a country I forget. Apparently authorities caught him with a "Death Note" and I think they put him in jail for either life or something, I forget. In other countries, the same result is happening for those caught with a fake "Death Note" as well. I doubt any of them appear ironic, but that man who was put in life (or so) wrote a name of a person in the note book. I think he died a few days later or something... ironic? Death Note has proven to be one of the best animes to date, yet is also a very controversial one. The fact that people in other areas around the world creating fake Death Notes is kinda scary and frightening. Man, it's really good. No wonder it's so darn popular! I just gotta read up on what the movies are about. I only know there's two. Wiki can be my side kick here.

I was watching Death Note on TV, and I found out Matt, Mello, and Takada (don't remember her full name) all die on my birthday... Weird... I love Nightmare (Alumina and The World first op and ed), but not really Maximum the Hormone(2nd op and ed).

lol, that should be added to Wiki... maybe. XD It appears the final episode is like an hour special... I wonder if Adult Swim will show that and move Code Geass back or even skip it. O.o`

i have the deathnote cosplay notebook he he. i gave it to my foreigner friend who is an otaku fan also, he really liked it (as his country is not that 'open' on such things). i saw that one on wiki, that a student was apprehended, and some parts of china ban the anime /manga/ notebook. there is a special that im going to watch, wherein they told me it has a different ending - that i gotta see. il watch again the series, i kinda like its eerie feeling - murder without any human contact is also scary too. there's one spoof of dn called Debu-note - wherein when you write the name of the person, it will make him/her fat!! ill check it again on utube. |

I read on Wiki that the final episode, which is an hour long special, is just a recap of the ending of the series, but in someone else's perspective, I forget who. Ryuk maybe? I think there's one episode left, this week, then next week will be the special, if they choose to dub it and air it on AS. Then there's the two movies. AS needs to air a movie, especially the FMA movie, just cause it might be right, but a bit too late? :O

i just finished watching the jp version and i have one last episode to go but the last ep they have on youtube is in french. I gotta try and find a jp version wit english subs or vise versa... other wise though , i liked it...sick anime  Part of the new age Gendou RP veterans: Kira, Rukia, KM Revolution, Smoker, Avian, L, and Ryu. |

I'm actually (re)watching this show with my anti-anime sister, which is fun. She never knew what the big fuss about anime was but now she knows Anime does not equal cartoons and kids shows. And in the process I turned her into a huge Death Note fan. I dont believe it's a conversion since she just likes this show, but it's a step after thirteen years of trying to get her into ANY anime. |

I liked the anime for what it did, but for the most part it was an almost direct adaptation of the manga, so after 15 episodes I just decided to check in every so often. |

Oh, what the heck, they restarted Death Note on AS. It'll probably get replaced by Seirei no Moribito next month anyways.

Light's gonna look even madder in the later chapters/episodes (depends if you're reading the manga or watching the anime). Those new characters they put in really make the on-going story niiiiiiiiiice... |

I finished all of them( manga, anime, live acton movies) except the dubbed version. Death Note is really nice and addictive in the way how they involve the mind strategies and taking risk. The live acton movies deviates from the manga and anime but I like it especially the third movie, 'L change the world'. I never thought L can do all that running and jumping. It's kinda weird also but L will still remain as my fav. |
