So far less than 5 episodes have been aired at this month, we'd be expecting more for the upcoming weeks dattebayo~ I've only watched episodes 1-2 as a one-hour special in youtube (yes, I am THAT cheap, since torrents are not available yet D:) and I'm still getting my hands on watching the 3rd movie dattebayo~! ARK~! |

The only dissappointing thing is the lack of Kakashi Gaiden, but it follows the manga really well. |

I watched episode 3 of Naruto Shippuden yesterday, and the animation has gone back to the way it was in Naruto-Series 1 ,hahaha. In my opinion,it seems they are dragging out quite alot, well i won't give spoilers but,it seems quite slow paced. |
Re: Naruto: Shippuuden

Hahah! The filler took so long, that Naruto never actually left the village. Jiraiya: Naruto, you will be away from Konoha for almost 3 years. Naruto: But it's already been well over 2 and a half years since you said that and the fillers started! Jiraiya: Geh, you're right. Um, your training is complete - how does it feel to be back in Konoha...taller and still a genin. |

Where can i find the soundtracks from naruto shippuuden? I want the first sountrack of 001-002 series but not the one that starts with the anime and finishes with it! The one when naruto, sakura and sasuke met again! |
Re: Naruto: Shippuuden

ah~ Naruto Shippuuden is awesome! Especially after all that filleriness =b But, is it just me, or is Kakashi slacking too much xD He should get off his ass and go train or something or Sakura's gonna surpass him ;_; which would be...weird. I think Kakashi's power level is too inconsistent. If he's been a jounin since he was, like, 12(?)he should be a lot stronger than he seems now. Just my opinion, though. |

I have seen episodes 1-3. Very well done I might add. I was quite impressed with the new series. I loved it! The new soundtrack that goes with Shippuuden is quite amazing! Some of the music sounds absolutely wonderful. I can't wait until and OST of it comes out(If one does).
You know, I really don't have a signature.

The shippuden's great! I don't really like the op, but the ending's quite good. Sakura's awesome, and the part 2 Sasuke looks really kawaii... |

Oh, so somebody *did* start a topic about Shippuden... Guess I must have missed it before. Anyhoo, now that I've seen the first three episodes, here are some of my current thoughts on the series: WOOHOOO!! A farewell to fillers! Now that that's out of my system (and yes, it's been taking a while), I was originally stunned at the opening scene. First at the animation, then (as one who is current on the manga) at how far ahead they skipped to show that scene. Given the nature and themes of the second series, though, I can see how it was more than just wanting to give Sasuke a little screentime after 80+ fillers. So far, I'm most pleased with the pacing. They've managed to keep it to about 1-1.5 chapters per episode, so if they can avoid doing more than two chapters per episode most of the time, it should be a good long while before we ever have to see all-filler episodes again. As for the "stretchers" themselves, I like how they've expanded on scenes that were sometimes only more briefly touched on the manga, the way it expands the world of the series a little more, and delves into the personal lives of second-tier characters. This is *good* filler material. They've also made very discreet use of flashbacks, using them only where they jog a viewer's memory, but not to the point that they get on your nerves. And they totally complimented this second test with Kakashi in episode 3. I love what they've done with the Akatsuki theme, though I haven't heard enough of the soundtrack to form a serious opinion it yet. Most of all, though, I just love the feeling of actually looking forward to new Naruto episodes again after a year-and-a-half. It's a great feeling, isn't it? |
