Question: Is the message different for everyone? Like let's say I am level 21 and I donated $10 and downloaded 300 songs? Would that change the message or its only one message?

So basically, all the b's after the first a corresponds to a letter in the alphabet I think.... ah my head hurts.

I don't think there is a difference. I got a message and copied it to a file. I then downloaded a few songs and got the same message when I went through the process again. Those numbers may just be a red herring.

the entire conversation with crypto-bot is nothing more than a teaser, and contains no clues to the cypher.
the abbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb is, indeed, the encrypted representation of the alphabet.
think arithmetic series.

this might be an important clue: the key is PART of the entire message. once you come to the end of the key, keep going into the message.

by this clue you should surmise that the message needs to be decrypted in order, one character at a time. in other words, the first character in the message starts you off (the A in this case). the second character requires information from the first character to be decrypted, and so on.

this cypher should be easy once you figure out a scheme whereby the entire alphabet can be represented by a leading "a" followed by 25 "b"s. what kind of series does it appear to be?

I solved it. And only after that I read this thread... Aw, there are so many hints, good thing I did not read it. It is really easy when you figure out. Nice thing :) Thanks, I had fun :) There's one typo in text though.

Um... Am I first? o_O

Good job square!! Yes, you are first.
Thanks for pointing out the typo, I hadn't noticed!

I just noticed that there are 4 "wbrwxjzl"
And a lot of words with 3 letters ending with "ox", is this coincidence?

there is a word repeated 4 times. the 3 letter words ending with "ox" might all be the same word, even though the first letter varies.

try checking with rot13.com :D

Huh?.. Is it really that hard with all those hints? =( Or just nobody is really interested...

it is not ROT13 or any other encryption scheme out there.
i invented this method of encryption, so don't bother looking for a solution elsewhere.

@Square: Good job! And yes, there are people still interested, like me and Kay, but you are super smart or something....I'm like Kay, I look and look, and it's making no sense....hmmm.... *goes off to ponder the clues Gendou gave so kindly*

That was a very long passage to translate character by character...

If you know algorithm, you can use notepad (or even message editor on this forum) with fixed-width font. It will be even easier if you have worked with this before:

I prefered to write program to do all the work for me. It's only few lines, and no bruteforcing or something was done ^^
