HOLY CRAP!!! a Gendou.com RPG!!! THAT'S INSANE. Gendou, yet again amazes me. *stands up and claps*!! So this RP(G), will you be involved in it? and is there a certain difficulty level on it as well. Also, when do you think it will be completed, because I want to be one of the first. Here are just some of my votes that I got from OTHER RP's here on GENDOU!!! ..::Classes::.. Finesse The Organization -Rated- ..::Races::.. Human of course Demon/Demonik Alien (I don't know anymore...) ....... ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ ..::Spells!?::.. Magic - Elements! also, that's all for now... *will you create a character from scratch or will there be models that you can edit already? Im bursting with anticipation!!*

So add a few more.. 11)Middle class guy 12)Swordsman 13)Cleric Yeah.. I noe that's many (13--?!) But I like almost all of it!

If I could make a game i'd make it kinda like this In a Modern setting yet Old School tradition ways Classes: Samurai Thief Alchemist Summoner Druid Races: (with the option of all of them being School Boys/Girls) Human Elvish Demon Kitty People Wolf People AHH... almost forgot.. You have to have Angels too if you are gonna have demons

Well, if your going to do a classic RPG there are some things that are generally used throughout all RPG's. Classes: Archer Mage Fighter Assassin/stealth type And perhaps even Angel and Demon although those are more of a race Races: Human Elf Dwarf Angel or Demon would prolly go better here Gendonian (Come on, you know youd want to be Gendonian, Kind of like a human with more anime-ish power...) Any type of animal person. Ex: Catgirl, Man with wings and beak ect... Maybe more but less isnt neccesarily bad When making a simple RPG, in my completely unproffesional opinion, I think its better to keep it simple. Too many classes and too many races would only take too much time to create and cause confusion. If anything should be really customizable or varied it should be weapons/armor/spells/items or anything else that any player would use. Make those things interesting along with a good map and you wont need to make fifty million different races. Of course I have no idea what im doing and all of this is just opinion based. Just wanted to put my two cents in...  |

this is my opinion: 1. the abandoned thread should be delete. 2. each member should be maximum 3 thread in gendou city. 3. the same anime title or game should only have maximum 3 thread 4. each member should only have <10 thread in each Forum Topic other then Gendou city.  |

| My opion is to do it off of the Dungeon and Dragon format with the basic classes from there and then basic races. Then include speific classes like assassin ninja and other stuff. |

Since I am creating the entire game from scrath, it can go in any direction you the users can dream up! See, I played around with DikuMud a while back and the code gave me nightmares. So, i set out to create my own mud, but quickly realized a simple GUI would make the game so much more enjoyable for everyone. While I expect to gat most of my usership for the game from gendou.com, i will not require members to have a gendou.com account. In other words, while it is "the official game of gendou.com", it is also 100% stand-alone in structure. Not only is this easier to code, but also fair to everyone. thank you everyone for the good ideas for classes and races! the next bit of business i have for you is: how should battles work? in particular, what are your thoughts on mob agro, turn systems, etc.

| I think that it should be a system in which it's a real time thing you have to type or click attack when you get your balance back or something like that. |

Ive found the batle system for HeroesMini.com very enjoyable though relatively simple. If you are going for more of an online pen and paper rpg then something like that would work perfectly. |

I actually don't have an idea about how the battles work. Depending on how the game turns out (shooter, fighting, adventure, etc....). If it was to be a 'shooter' then it would be in 1st Perspective View like Halo or something, but you can also change view's of course.

I dont have any Ideas on battle systems but if its not to late I think that you should make the world look more modern like a city or more specific a anime style school. Thats the vision I had of gendou city when I started reading this thread. It'll be cool if you can do that gendou  |

I think the turn systems is the most benificial.. it gives people who love rpgs but aren't 100% great at quick thinking. And with Mob Agro some thigs would be and some things aren't... like if a bird attacks something all the other birds have a tendancy to join in... yet if a cat attacks something usually others will watch till the threat is gone or run away (unless they know for shure they can kill what they are attacking)

Well, you all know me... NINJA NINJA NINJA NINJA NINJA NINJA NINJA... Ok enough of that... The only other thing I'd care to see is Prostetics Bodies, like in Ghost in the Shell. Enhanced strength and endurance, but no magic, but hacking abilities. One question, will this change anything currently going on?  |

I'd imaging since Gendou himself is creating this RPG from scratch, he'll put his foot forward and give us something incredibly amazing! I hope it doesn't cost anything, because the site itself (along with Ajax) should cost a bundle!
