Lizard's tail
Dew in the night
Silent night
Sunlight
A drop of mermaid's tear

The shadow of dead people
The pain of living people
The joy of darkness
The madness of light
Let us become one
Let's engulf ourselves in a beautiful lace

(Altadimana Cinqadimana)
By an edge of the shadow
I'm pulled into darkness
I gave a scream
(Altadimana Cinqadimana)
I'm crazy because of the Silence
Aquarion, Aquarion

But I think "prier" in french is like pray or prayer..

@nobility.. I tried to translate it with google...and the translation engine can't translate it to it's detected language...

But still it's a nice song...

It's like a music box :-)

Beautiful song but it's not in any language, it's a vocalise, a song with no true words that's meant for everyone to interpret differently

I highly doubt that either the "Latin" romanization or the English translation are accurate, for the same reason as hasseoskeith and coconut123.

-- by norimori at 2011-06-10 18:10:17

It's made up by Yoko Kanno. It's still interesting to see how the legendary Kanno put together words from different languages to make up this pseudo-latin. It's surprisingly similar to some accounts of middle ages' bastardized latin i saw though.

The "Latin" romaji is obviously forced; either that, or the katakana lyrics are wrong. I'm not an expert on Latin, but I don't know how anyone could get "Hiho detarmeno hiha" out of "イオ デルタ メロディア" (Io deruta merodia) or "Plient, Plient, plientu hora" out of "リーント リーント リージェオラ" (Riinto riinto riijeora) even accounting for the obvious pronunciation differences between Japanese and Latin.

Sorry to burst your bubbles, but this song is gibberish. There is no translation because it doesn't mean anything.

-- by norimori at 2009-07-05 14:18:12

Yeah the translation doesn't seem to work. As far as I can tell... it -seems- to be latin, but I can't be 100% sure. My Latin's a bit rusty, but Omna Magni should be something along the lines of 'All Powerful'

-- by krescentwolf at 2009-06-03 16:29:59

i heard from a comment on youtube that it's Latin.

-- by oakarii at 2009-03-13 23:07:22

What language is used?
I'm pretty sure the lyrics match, though...

-- by itsukawa at 2009-01-18 05:52:44

It's translated from the japanese version in the booklet.
Since I don't have the booklet version under Kanji, I can't judge correctness.

I seriously doubt this is a translation... the words never match anything from the first half when they sing the second part of the song and there are some of the same words..
