hyde is different from hide of xjapan.. HYDE is from L'arc~en~ciel [my favorite band in the whole world] hide is from xjapan... and he's DEAD... yep im not joking he is and as far as i know they were friends.. hyde said he used to take hide out for drinks... well, if you want to know anything about HYDE.. ask me i know everything about him!!!! ehehehe.. All of them... they seem so perfect...yet so fake... |

Everything you'd want to know about hide: -His real name is Matsumoto Hideto. -hide is never capitalized. EVER. -DOB December 13th, 1964 -DoD May 2nd, 1998 -Born in Kanagawa, Yokosuka -Height 170cm -Weight 50kg -Sibling - younger brother (hiroshi) -Played bass, acustic and electric guitar, and sang. -Was in the bands X (also known as X Japan), Spread Beaver, Zilch, MxAxSxS, and yokosuka SAVER TIGER. When he was little, he was often teased about his weight, as he was much heavier than all the other children he went to school with. He was shy and withdrawn, and because of this, became very creative. He found the American band Kiss when he was a little older, and he bought his first guitar in Secondary III (Gibson Les Paul). Classmates teased him continually for that too... (poor hide!!) He formed Saber Tiger in 1982, under the alias hide. The band had a short life, and disbanded in 1987. Right before Saber Tiger disbanded, he met Yoshiki, of whom, soon after, asked hide to join the band X. After eight years of being in X, he came out with his first solo album, titled "hide your face". In 1996, he released his second solo album "Psyence", and he was still with X (which was re-named X-Japan by that point). hide then formed a band in America, called Zilch. In april of '97, Toshi left X Japan, and in September of the same year, X Japan disbanded, holding their last concert on December 31 of 97. He released his third solo album titled Ja,Zoo, in early 1998. Just a short while after that, though, he was drinking with his brother, celebrating his successes so far in the United States. It was May 2nd, 1998, and by the morning, he was found hung in his bathroom by a towel. hide was rushed to the hospital, but died on the way there, becoming pronounced dead on May 2nd, 1998, at 8:52 am. People still speculate about his death. They wonder if he killed himself just because he was drunk, and didn't know what he was doing, or if he in fact, committed suicide because of the breakup of X Japan. The world may never know. |
