Not really sure if this is the right section for this but I wanted a thread to talk about OS-tans in general and which ones you like the most!

I prefer Windows XP and Windows 2000 Professional myself. I like XP for the looks and because she represents XP pretty much to a tee. Windows 2000 Professional just has this secretary kind of cute going on.

Speaking of OS-Tan, has anyone seen Windows 7 yet? I kind of have instant contempt for her for two reasons. She kind of looks plain, like she doesn't really represent anything. Is she supposed to represent Windows 7 as trying to appeal to a very wide group of people which ultimately causes her to lack any sort of distinct personality? Or possibly a "back to school" theme that represents the total screw up that Vista was and the need to improve on a lot of things?

The second reason is that she's apparently voiced by Nana Mizuki, who has been irritating me lately by constantly popping up wherever I look (I don't exactly think too much of her to begin with, she's not too special of a voice actor as far as my tastes go).

Windows 7 OS-tan; Madobe Nanami and yep, she's voiced by Nana Mizuki.
Probably the most cutest OS-tan ever.(to me at least :3)

What would you do if you face a llama at the end of time?

well i think Nana Mizuki was chosen because of her name (nana means 7 in japanese). i think 7 looks pretty okay. the blue-ish design makes me love her somewhat since i like blue. xD

a quck check on wiki says that OS-tan goes back all the way to Windows 95
I like 95-tan,she is cute^^

I Like Win2k-tan most. I use it as my Avatar ^_^.

Windows 7-Tan, a.k.a Nanami is the new member of the OS-Tan now and also she got a twitter account and accepting fans all over the world.

But the problem is, I can't understand japanese, so I need World Lingo to understand it ^_^. For the rating in cuteness, 2K-tan is much cuter for me (without glasses).
