How much is fantasy part of your life.

“The gift of fantasy has meant more to me than my talent for absorbing positive knowledge.†- Albert Einstein Fantasy plays a major part in my life as an artist, wife, mother and teacher. Fantasy allows my imagination to run free and to ask can I do this for real. How often I have found the answer is yes? Often enough to know that life is a faerie tale and if I have enough money I can make my dreams come true. How does fantasy affect your life? Do you allow fantasy to affect your life? ![]() |

Fantasy is a very important part of my life. Since I have come to college, I have sort of withdrawn from meaningful human contact (I'll do something with a friend like once a month...). And, aside from HP Lovecraft and AIM, my fantasy is what carries me through the day in a contented fashion. I think to describe the situation (and its worryingly close to reality), a quote is in order from Yukio Mishima's 'Spring Snow'. Kiyoaki Matsugae said, "I'm too involved in my dream-world. They've spilled over into reality. They're a flood that's sweeping me away." ![]() |

I daydream at work while reading. What a life.

I think every anime otaku (like myself) is a fantasist. We're all daydreamers, idealists and much more. For me, it's like another person. I'm a total nutcase, so anime is like a friend to me. Like a second identity, it keeps me company during the day when I am usually alone at home. So, yeah. It's a big part of my life. |

Fantasy is a part of me :) Without it, believe me, I would ended up being a less-imaginative person in the world, who is stuck up doing the terrible office work and force myself saying: My work is great, yeah. I was exposed to cartoons when I was a child, so they cultivate my imagination to develop my kind of fantasy. Then anime and games improved it better, which in turn amused me during times I find life boring. And use it in healthy positive manner (you know some crazy criminals out there rely on their fantasies to freak out everybody). |

If I were to answer honestly, I'd have to say that literally half of my time is spent fantasizing. I do it during school, when I eat, during chores and before I go to sleep. Mainly because I have nothing else to do. I'll fantasize about things you could call typical of a 17 year old girl, things like getting married to my former rock star neighbor to get "taken away" (This is one of my favorites :D)or discovering some secret talent. Though other times I find myself having disturbing fantasies like going to school with a gun and committing massacre. This all affects my life in the fact that I know none of these things are ever going to happen (probably) but I would really like them to. It's as if I know my life is just going to follow the typical mundane path of go to school, get a job, get married, have kids, grow old and die, and that's it. Fantasizing gives me some kind of comfort to know that maybe, just maybe something extraordinary will happen to me at some point. Guess it never will unless I take some action to make them happen though. |

Well I always daydream a lot.. and some goals I have for issues in life I know are just pure fantasy, but they're nice to think of and imagine. I used to daydream connnnnnstantly, but then when I started having some issues and was upset a lot, I completely stopped. Now that class has started back up again and I'm really excited about everything, I've been daydreaming again too xD Usually its just something really silly, or about something that happened sometime earlier. Fantasy is a big part of my life, and keeps me happy sometimes, but I know how to separate it from reality. |

It's really important in my life. It's a source for me for drawing, writing fiction, and everything. If I can't imagine things, I can't do any art =w=" Since childhood, because of I am an only child, I always imagine someone who I can play with all days. Imangine friend, maybe. Yep, I talked with my teddy bear like he can listen and understand my feeling. ![]()

Fantasy affects my life on a daily scale. I don't think I've gone a single day without day-dreaming. As a college student, fantasy helps a great deal with my papers. Being imaginative helps me write interesting papers. I get much better scores since my teachers are seldom bored reading my papers. I still have meaningful human contact, but fantasy is there for the empty moments. A day without some fantasy would probably leave me feeling empty. ![]() |

majority of my life is fantasy. in my own world i am the best teacher. i have left a mark on my students and i made their lives better. i may not be the smartest teacher that they ever had but they are thankful that i became part of their lives. i'm a good musician. i can jam with my students whenever we are free. i can either be drummer, on vocals, on elec. or bass guitar. i can play dota. since most of the students find it as their bonding time. i make lots of money. i can buy anything for my parents, my brother or my friends or students. i can travel anywhere. i am kaoru kamia who has a brave samurai like kenshin himura. i'm as good as hikari and have a rival who loves me secretly like takishima kei. i'm yuuki being torn with two handsome guys like zero and kaname. i'm shirley and eve though i'll die i'll be happy that i met lelouch. *even kissed him. XD* i'm every lucky anime girl who has a very handsome anime guy and experiences extraordinary life. XD sometimes these fantasies become my motivation to strive harder. (of course this doesnt apply to my anime fantasies. XD) sometimes they become my frustrations. best part is i can be anything in my own fantasy. and it makes me happy. :) |

Fantasy and my dreams is everything to me without it i don't know what i sould do... I don't like reality but i do like to live. I have been walking around daydreaming for almost my whole life this far. In kindergarten i din't live in reality I was in my own world but when i left kindergarten i started to become more aware of reality and in second grade i truly realized that i couldn't keep going with this lving in my own world thing. so instead i started daydreaming and rollplaying with my freinds and beacuse of that the other class mate started to bully me. They said to me grow up you are in second grade you know. I stopped roleplaying now in junior high but now when i think about it i find those guys who bullied me through primary school quiet amusing and pitiable. I mean come on! They were like 6-9 years old and they tried to be cool and look like an grown up by throwing away there childhood. What's wrong with a kid to play games and do rollplays and etc? you should treasure your'e childhood don't throw it a way! it's in that age your'e sense for fantasy start to grow. So you guys whos been bullied beacuse of what you've been doing or for daydreaming you should rather feel sorry for those who bullies you! YOU HAVE NOTHING TO BE ASHAMNED FOR LOVING FANTASY OR DAYDREAMING!! |

Fantasy means the world to me. Hopes, dreams, thoughts, and beleifs, I could not imagine a world missing even one. Reality is the world we live in but I am not satisfied with it. Only by imagining how things can be to I push for a better future. FANTASY FOR US IS REAL TO OTHERS. |

Well, there wouldn't be 'reality' without the existence of 'fantasy'. Since there wouldn't be light without darkness to define it. ^_^ Although strangely enough, I noticed that a lot of the individuals that exclaims a lot about 'Za Real Warudo' ( the real world ) or 'LULZ! THIS IS REALITY!', happened to be struck in their own perspective, which ironically is somewhat influenced by their own fantasy ... ( Or expectation of what 'reality' SHOULD be, instead of what actually exists in front of them. ) ^.^"
Ha ... oh ne ya do so say suwaka ...
