I was just wondering how difficult it is to apply for a Japanese government scholarship. I'm in my last year of college and plan to (hopefully) earn a Master Degree. A relative of mine told me to try out for this scholarship grant, but my prof says its too hard.

Hi,

I think it's hard, but still worth to try, nothing to lose. Ano ne, if you're not a japanese, they'll require you to take up a japanese lesson class for 6mths or more, depends on ur results. (Ara, that's the standard requirement for most universities in Japan back two years ago)

All the best to you...ganbatte kudasai ne.

Hi,

Sorry for this late reply. For more info, please visit the following site:

http://www.studyjapan.go.jp/en/toj/toj0302e.html or visit your local JPN embassy...

I think the application will be closing soon.

Eto...I guess the closing is on 28th June this year.
