Question about Japanese Writings
|
You know how Japanese writing has Katagana and Hiragana right? Also they have Kanjis. I know Katagana and Hiragana follows by each pronounciation but when you type in Japanese keyboard, they change back to Kanji... How would they read Kanji in Japanese? I studied Kanji in Korea but we called it Hanja. |

Hi, Eto...as for a japanese, definitely they'll know how to read kanji, as I believe that Kanji is being taught in Japanese schools. Moreover, most of the Japanese has their names written in Kanji as well. Some phrase like: Today - 今日 (kanji) - ãょㆠ(Hiragana) Otherwise their words will be written like this: ãょã†(in a small font) 今 æ—¥ There will be hiragana indicated on top of each kanji...I guess that's another way for Japanese learners, since our class started off with memorising hiragana and katagana first!! ã‚ã®ã†, you could use NJ Star Japanese, it has a built in Dictionary and much more. I have to use this as my cpu is very old and doesnt support extra keyboard functions like that. ![]() |

It's Katakana. Not Katagana. xO |
