Some 23-year-old kid was running behind by aoubt a minute, so he sped the train up a little too fast, took a corner and the first 3 cars derailed, all of them crushed beyond recognition. The first car is actually wrapped around an apartment complex and looks like it compressed to nothing. I think the current death toll is around 70.

At the station right before the wreak, the driver had overran the stop point for the staion since he was going too fast and actually had do this once back in 2004, where he was warned about his speed. They said he had to be going over 85MPH, ~115KPH, I think to have derailed, so he was flying. =/

The death toll from the April 25 train crash in Osaka, Japan's deadliest train accident in four decades, rose to 91, with 456 injured, the Transport Ministry said in a faxed statement.

The train was traveling from Takarazuka in Hyogo prefecture to Tanabe in Kyoto prefecture when five railcars flew off the tracks into the building.

Its really sad to think about it. The website I read it off of said also that some fates of people were unknown after the accident. Even a child called his mother to say that he wasnt going to make it.
