What is umabochi? WELL, it's a fermented salty plum that the japanese eat. It is also refered to as a pickled plum. I tried one... it was salty as all get out! ^_^; I liked it though... Have you ever tried any strange japanese foods? |

O_o; dont worry, japanese has subtle syllables which are easy to confuse. its totally understandable. you should here some of the horrible things that came out of my mouth when i was trying to remember the word 'maguro' (ã¾ãã‚ï¼é®ª) >_<;;; ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I really like it, espeically in my onigiri. :D Umm.... not strange but I also love their pickeled cucumbers. It's sorta sour but a bit spicy-tangy at the same time. *drooling* Oh, that fermented soybean is YUCK! *gagging* |
