Ok, this may be a weird question, but I was wondering, what is the meaning of life to you? It is a difficult question and it makes me question my mortality and beliefs in God. But then I realize, that part is very personal, so if you're not comfortable don't answer it. But it also makes me realize the best way to answer it is to set goals for ourselves first, so that we can fulfill ourselves. In a way maybe fulfilling the goals we gain desires for in living is the meaning of living and therefore the meaning of life on Earth, besides being concerned for the afterlife if that is important to you. What do you guys think of that? I want to be married to a girl who loves for who I am and is commited. I don't like a lot of these girls in the US, it seems all they want to do is party, I admit I and other guys problaby promote that due to our actions, but it seems they don't really care about a long term relationship. Left with that option, all there is to do is party! But then again no one cares about commitment, guy or girl, I mean look at all the divorces! Also, it seems so every relationship are based on things besides commitment annd love, maybe I'm just rambling, or maybe I'm look for girls in the wrong place, I should'nt hook up at a casino and expect a wife. I would rather have commitment though... Man that was long, and I had to edit it like 50 times, but what do you to find meaning in life? |

LOL Shishio, I agree with everything you said..about the meaning of life and the girls in US who love to party around everyday. Edit: I meant most of the US girls. |

That's cool, cuz' I do get philosphical when I ramble. LOL I don't want to get too personal here, but this is blantant honesty, so if you are easily offended leave the thread: I am tired of sleeping with girls and not knowing if they care about me or not- that is considered a girl's problem, but what about us sensitive guys? It's ridiculous. it has to end, how long will I be searching? |

| Well, it just kind of happens, that is reality in the city and for adults, anyways we always say we care about each other, but how can we really know? If we did, why would people break up so fast..That is more what I'm saying... |

I see. That reminds me of my friends... They say they like each other...but just in about a week they break up XD The couples that lasted the longest in my school...1 year.. I guess things just arent that serious when we're still young |

@shishio: NANI?! you sleep around with girls?! *dot eyed* OMG hahahha don't mind me... I'm just not used to hear poeple saying that they sleep around... or whatever.... T.T I live in the philippines, that's why... try asking othe filipino's and they'll answer something near my answer... but not unless hearing people say that does not affect them anymore... what?! I'm innocent wah~! hehehe ^^ anywhoo... how did you come up with this idea for a thread? have you read project_koganei's question on the "Question and Answer" game? wai~! anywhoo... I answered the same question: Answer: Meaning of life?..... *looking for it in my bag* nope.... haven't found it yet... I'll get back to you if I did ^^ I'm still young... and I'm always bored, my parents are somewhat strict so it'll be kinda impossible for me to answer this question until I get into college ^^ (I'm in third year highschool right now)... ... ^^ ...

To Me: The Meaning of Life isn't why we're created from God (everyones's true father), but to live your life for a meaning? ...or Live you life until it's meaningful. Something around those phrases. I think it's a saying or so, or my mind has spoke out and controled my fingers for typing out its thoughts. These are just a few questions I avoid even worrying about because I love life. Life is the greatest. Life has limits and thus we shall live until we reach them as best we can, one year at a time. GOD HAS CREATED LIFE SO YOU CAN ENJOY ANIME. GOD HAS CREATED ANIME TO INSPIRED PEOPLE LIKE ME TO HAVE DREAMS OF CREATING AN ANIME MYSELF!! "LIVE LIFE FOR THE FULLEST" ~ SOMETHING GOD "MIGHT" SAY! I SAY THAT ANYWAYS!! Also I learned in Science Class. Our time now, IS limited. The Sun will suck the universe dry and thus life will restart, but will God create life from where it left off? I think if I remember correctly. Excuse me of false info, I'm very tired... *heads out to sleep*

LOL, I don't "sleep around", it's just how dating is in America. I like a girl, things happen, and that's that. I do care about them, but things don't work out later. LOL I'd MUCH rather just be married and commited to one girl, (one meaning in life) but that is impossible to find in the US, at least one who I like as much as these uncommitable or uncommiting girls. It's usually because you find stuff about each other later that the other won't tolerate... MAIA: I got the idea because I just got back from partying at the casino, and I realized how empty it all is, and how I'm filling this hole with that stuff; this hole that seeks meaning. |

Man i didn't know you think like that, coz' when i watch news or E! entertainment. i always think why would they get married if they gonna divorce the next days or weeks, months,years. what are they saying when they married, don't they say they promise to live together till dead do us apart kind of stuff, if you don't know your feeling you better go to quiet place to think, or not met each other for a month, if you can't stand that consider yourself that you care for her, but if you're okay with that you better questioning yourself, then you got to ask the girl of course, or if the girl ignoring you then consider in that the girl don't care, but (BUT) this think may be wrong. for you i only suggest to be true to your own belief, because of you my friend i change my opinion about americans, i always thought you guys are tough went it come to countries problem, but then you can't defend a single family problem that then you wanted divorce, So all i wanted to say that: What you wanted to do?, Can you take responsibility?, Can you take the consequence?, Can you stand for what you're belief in? that the thing you have to think before you make a big decision in your life. for your thought you have my respect Shisio, but then again let aside the sleeping part.

| Unfortuantly, in the US sex is no longer a big issue. It's EVERWHERE. It's hard to resist the temptation of beautiful women, after all, I am only a human guy. If I could just find the one, I would settle down. I guess sex is just something one can't turn down in the meantime. But where is th one? I hope at a future anime convention... LOL |

well you have to wait for your destine one i guess (like in girl bravo^-^) or you could make one, this one is hard. just live life in the way that it has meaning to you, like dangel said, live life to the fullest. LOL, hope you find it there, or maybe in E3^-^

@ Shishio: We are somewhat similar except that I am not good at expressing whats in my mind. I think your type is a simple, cute girl whos very disciplined, responsible, and with a very cute voice.

Meaning of life eh... Well, i've only lived for 17 years up to now, so i don't think i know what it is... If you mean what's my target in life then... So far it's simple: to survive in this world... Shishio, you said you're so moving to japan, well, do you think living there is any different from america? Especially tokyo... If it's about partying and sex, i don't think big cities in japan are any different than those of america's... I 'm just being told this by my japanese friend though -_- edit: Ahh, i just remembered, you might find the meaning of life if you watch this movie XD |

All righty... Enough about girls and sex, there's no way that should what life is about. *incoming flash back...* Way back in yon old days, even before I joined Gendou... There was a depressed, selfish little kid who dreamed of killing himself that I knew. He went to church, but didn't listen to any of what was said and didn't care at all, either; it looked to me like he didn't even want to go. I saw him snapping at people all the time over nothing, you could tell he cried all the time over nothing... Then one day, I assume he asked himself why he was sad. Why he wasn't happy. He began to turn his life around, joined a few online forums (I believe Gendou was one of them....), and decided moping around wasn't doing him any good. Some questions I found out he asked were things like... Why am I depressed? Why do I get mad over nothing? What's the point of life? We all just die here anyway... Why aren't I happy? A few answers (I think) he came to... Why am I depressed? Because doing something gives you either a reward or punishment; moping causes attention. Why do I get mad over nothing? Because moping around wasn't getting him attention anymore, and that made him angry What's the point of life? Well, seeing the fact we're all here anyway, why not make the most of it? Just because we all die in the end doesn't mean we can't have fun in the meantime. So the point of life is happiness. Note: Your meaning in life can be anything you want it to be; find out what you want, and go get it. Enough about girls and sex, there's no way that should what life is about. Yup, it shouldn't be about girls, if anything it should be about one girl, and never sex at all. Nowadays, that depressed kid is one of the happier people I know. Or maybe I should rephrase that whole thing up there... The depressed kid was me after all... My meaning in life: To help others when their life gets rough, or when their life is always rough, or if they're just sad. In short, my meaning in life is to get others meaning.  |
