Yes yes. 9 or 10 hours from Tokyo up north is an annoying city called Misawa, not too far from Hachinohe! Or is Hachinohe not too far from Misawa. It doesn't matter. As another person in Japan, I give fair warning. Do not come here! Sure, snowboarding and not being able to surf at the beaches in this area is nice because of the riptides, and we do have ice festivals, but the recent China Dust that came over was killer. I saw very large men get knocked over by the gust. It even got me! The wind was all "Psshhhhhhhhhhuuuuuwushooooooooooo!" So, yes. Misawa, Japan. Good to visit, bad to live/visit. Did I mention monkies sit in our Onsen? They steal sandwiches! |

It isn't too bad here. Recently, the Spring just started coming about. The great passtime of drunken-asses has begun an our festival is scheduled for the Saturday, April 24th. It'll be a nice start towards the great month of may, since Friday the day before I will be getting DSL. Haven't had it since back in May-June 2003 when I was still in high school. Not exactly where I wanted to go, either. It is a bit difficult for me to get my point across. One, my spoken Japanese isn't all that great because I didn't start learning until I was 17(I'm 19, for the record). Two, because my teacher was from Osaka. More like a friend who took my money to teach me, but I can't complain. She taught me Japanese and other things. Eheh. Onto the topic, we're in the Aomori prefecture. Nearth the top, and for some reason everyone thinks I'm on Hokkaido. No, main island. If you like snowboarding and...whatever other winter sports(Xtreme Puddle Jumping?) exist, it'll be fine. I enjoy it. If not, think of it as a chance to catch up on reading, PS2, and Ragnarok Online. Which I will do now. The Chaos Server for iRO is open for me because I'm still on South Carolina time.
