1. Is April 1 the first day of school for university students in Japan?

2. Japanese schools have a trimester sched for one year separated by breaks. When are those breaks? Ehehehe...I'm just curious...^_^

man, Japanese schools seem so differnt from American schools(US student here)...I remember in an anime, I think FMPanic? Fumoffu,..yeah it was.. they had like a 40 minute break or something and Sousuke and Kaname went home to Sousuke's house to get a notebook he forgot that he borrowed from Kaname!!..lol ^_^ In school for me, thats called.."Lunch" and even that's shortened sometimes!!

1) no tame ni
2) kaze ga
3) mamoritai
4) zutto

"notameni", myself I'm unsure, but according to my favored dictionary means something like "for the sake of"

"kaze" means Wind but don't know what it would mean with just a "ga" following after

mamoritai iirc has been used in some animes I've seen as example:
"Sakura mamoritai" meaning ~"I will protect Sakura" or "I want to protect sakura"

zutto means throughout or "for a long time" :)

I could be wrong, please correct me if I am ^^

It isn't blood in general I can't stand the sight of, it's just my blood in particular that's so upsetting. --- (Inspired by Terry Pratchett)

1. no tame ni means because of... For... e.g anata no tame ni means for you/ because of you/ for the sake of you.
2.Kaze ga means Wind is... or Flu is... depending on what you add on.
3.Mamoritai means protect. Another form of Mamoru. like English which has past tense/present tense and all the other shit load, so does nihongo.
4.Zutto means Forever/always
Now that I've told you, take my exams and get a B for everything ATLEAST! >D MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
