Er... I like Japan because of overload of dramas and anime, but as a country I don't have much of an affinity for it. For me, Japanese people are friggin' crazy. Very intense, very extreme yet very traditional people. It's hard to connect certain works to the same race of people; the same country that made Battle Royale could also create something so beautiful and pure as Socrates in Love (SekaiChuu). I think that part of the reason I'm so appreciative of their culture is because I know so much about them. All the popular fashions, the movie stars, the musicians, the comedians, not to mention the anime/manga business and too many pieces of cultural trivia to name. I wouldn't like to live in Japan because it reminds me too much of China. Appreciate your big houses and good sanitation while it lasts, you stupid unappreciative US people. Especially in rural areas, there is no telling how dirty and horrible the sanitation is; it might even be worse than my parent's old hometown's. I seriously would not trade anything in the world for living in the US. |
