I know Japanese from watching anime and listening to my Japanese classmates speak it in conversations, but I highly doubt I could actually converse in the language, ahaha. Although, I think my vocabulary is more diverse than the average otaku, given how I can watch raws and determine about a third of what they're saying.

Speak..? but right now i just wanted to understand and read japanese so i can play their games.. XD.. but if we can learn japanese maybe we should no longer worries about watching anime without sub.. i heard some people using internet to learn it.. just how they do that? do anyone here know? |

I certainly prefer speaking in Japanese with my family over englIsh. I find it easier to express atmospheric feeling in Japanese, but yet, I prefer English when I am writing, because I barely remember any kanji. Plus, it is funny watching my sister get frustrated when I correct her Japanese, be cause she is trying to make a new language that combines Japanese and English, which modern Japanese slang covers pretty well.   |

Well,I do sure speak quite a bit but to ACTUALLY study kanji isn't my forte,so yeah,it's pretty much limited to vocal.I learn them mostly from animes(and some games) ;) There is also a few occasions I made a very own Engrishu as well.Like,shottu gunnu,anyone?Or maybe,minigunnu??Now let's try saying rifle in Engrishu.Specifically,assault rifle XD Heh,I can do even better than that ;D (GRENADSU~~~!) P/S:I speak Japanese even when traveling out;it's quite fun to watch people get confused from what I'm saying XD Maybe someday I'll be able to play Japanese games without worrying about NOT being able to read ;) |

I really don't use that much anymore unless there is something in English that im not sure about. I'll ask my wife in Japanese or i just want to say something to my wife with out people knowing.  ; |

I love speaking japanese. Only when I'm with japanese people though. But sometime its kinda hard since I have to use keigo when I spoke with teachers or other strangers.
