Gendou having issues?

So for the last couple of months I've noticed some problems with Gendou. I mean the lack of uploads in a long time not withstanding you can't navitgate the site (I can't at least) the drop-down menus don't work you mouse over them and try and lick on anything it just vanishes. (luckily i know the url for the different sections) It happens on multiple browers and computers. So I think its the site. Is anyone else having this issues |

I'm having the same issue. When you hover over the menu items, the drop down appears, but as soon as you move the mouse down the drop down disappears. Using Chrome at the moment. Edit: using Opera, and the menus seem to work fine. Maybe it's a browser related problem. |

It's fine on my end. Chrome working well for the drop-down menu. Firefox is doing fine as well.
I claimed someone that I can't remember because photobucket is ended.

I'm also having issues with the gendou site this past few weeks. I'm using chrome and every time I navigate to Music, Downloads and such, Chrome display error in site as well as I was being log out after that. :(  |

| Hello, I'm new in forum but lately this week I noticed that when I uploaded requested anime music mp3 files the site shows C:\\fakepath\\file name.mp3 under filename is it my computer problem or the site problem ? If it is my computer problem what I should do to cause no issues for the uploads? and the site seems to have lack of uploads of new songs such as that it stop until Ai no Reincarnation song on 16/01/07 according to my computer or is it also my computer problem ? If not I hope we can get new songs asap. |

Yeah, about the songs. There hasnt been an update in months. You'd think the staff would do something about this by now. Is this site finally dying out? |

this is my first time posting,though I've frequent the site several times a week and haven't been verbal about either of the issues regarding site navigation, or lack of new uploads. As for the site issue itself, Chrome always makes me reload the site, saying that flash or whatever stopped working, causing me to not be able to do anything until I refresh the site....as for the music, I'm disappointed, though I understand that people are busy, I feel that there should be some action taken to assure that at least 2 or so songs are added once a month as a minimum. If you don't have the time, it's time to appoint a new admin, or teach a mod to do it. I've donated time browsing, as well as money to the site to help keep it running, so I feel kinda aggravated on the topic seeing as how it's dying. There hasn't been a new upload in quite a few months

To echo sentiments from the other thread: Similarly to how only the admin can grant privileges, only the admin can actually go into the site and change its code or fix issues with the site. It sounds backwards, I know, and I'm not a fan of it either as the forums are broken for me as well. We cannot appoint a new admin because the admin we have now is the only one who can do any of these things you ask. If you want things done on a bigger level, complaining about and bashing Inu literally creates 0 progress. PM the admin if you wish to see more done. But accept this: even if you do PM him and do receive a response, nothing still may happen.

wow...no one was bashing Inu...just making observations that things are not being dealt with by Gendou, when they need to be. This will become a dead site, as long as he doesn't step up as Admin. Again, I know you get busy living life outside a computer screen, but you should make time, even if it's 5 minutes to make a post to reassure everyone that you haven't forgotten the site.

Hi Guys! It's been years since I logged in here. Miss this place so so much! Anyway, I've encountered some problems as well; things like I couldnt view the history of the posts, or reading the first entry of a thread. I've been a fan of Gendou since high school (which was like almost 10 years ago omfg) and it's sad to see that its not the same anymore ._. anywhoo enough of my sad vibes! hope the admins fix it soon, I wanna see this place being all happening again! :) |

I have recently talked with the admin, and there are currently no plans to fix any problems that arise on the site. The site will continue to run for now, however, and I will still release music when I get the chance to, but any issues will not be fixed.  |
