Innocent Sorrow In 1690 in the small town of Edmonton England inside John's Mansion,five families; The Allen - The Blackfall - The Hallow - The Nighwish and The Strauss formed a covenant of silence to protect themselves from persecution. This families with extraordinary abilities,referred to as "The Ascendancy", one distinctive clue to notice if they are indeed descendent's is when they use there powers and there eyes change to a different color or the Covenant Insignia which is the same one as the St.John Institution Insignia. This tainted trade mark is tattooed in one part of there body. These families build an Institution called St. John, the name of the elder Lord John Allen. The normal humans would assists as well the up rising generation of each family. Four of the five bloodlines survive to this day; but one family, The Hallows lusting for more power, was banished, their bloodline disappearing without a trace until now. Inside the St. John Institution is a story of the children's of St.John , four young students at the elite St. John Institution who are bound by their sacred ancestry. As descendants of the original families that settled in Edmonton England in the 17th century, the young ones have all been given amazing supernatural powers. But their ability to defy gravity and perform superhuman feats of strength comes at a terrible cost. Every time one of them use there abilities, the temptation to abuse the power makes it more addictive than any drug. What's more, life is only going to get harder for them. They are given a taste of the Power at age sixteen. Then at the moment each of them turns eighteen, they will "Ascend", gaining far more potent and addictive powers. As a new school year begins the new generation of each family becomes close together,forming bonds with each other and humans alike. Little they know an upcoming threat was closer then they ever thought possible.It would be one of there own, that had came from the shadows of the believed banished bloodline to proclaim there believed share of the power. They will come after every one of the existent member of the distinctive families and ask to "Will there power to them" Or take it by force by threating to kill everyone ever loved by them. As strange things begin to happen within them and around there loved ones the four families will have to join together in hope to banish again and for all there "Own Blood". Will they over come the addiction of the power they have been granted by birth? Or will the be hunted down by there enemy or there own thirst for more?.... Abilities: Can turn the Death Tarot Card into a scythe. He always keeps one on-hand for that purpose. Can create a haze that reduces visibility and saps body strength continually (except Raven’s). Raven must stand still to create the haze, and it disperses ten seconds after he starts moving again. However, a lot can happen in ten seconds. Covenant Mark Location: On his abdomen, just above his groin. The only thing Raven regrets about his life is that his covenant mark is in such an embarrassing spot. Nightwish Name: Rosa Nightwish Gender: Female Age: 32 Role: Family Head, also current Headmistress of St. John’s Institution. Family: Nightwish Location: Nightwish Manor (Section) -Personality and Hobby: Rosa is a very caring person. She is sometimes a bit too focused on rules (which explains how she became Headmistress) but she does know when to let a child off for extenuating circumstances not written in any rulebook. The one person she really can’t stand is Raven Blackfall, She enjoys watching kids enjoying themselves. -Bio: Rosa became head of the family when she dueled her older brother Raymond for the title and won. She didn't actually want the position; rather, she wanted to prove to her family that women weren't weak. Since then, Rosa has worked tirelessly to ensure that the women of St. John’s are treated equally. Abilities: Gravity Manipulate: Rosa can control how gravity affects her. She can’t actually fly with it, but she can hover or soften a landing. She can also walk on water or affix herself to a vertical surface. Explosion: By concentrating on an object, Rosa can cause it to burst into flame and explode. The object must be within fifty feet of her. Healing: By concentrating on a person, Rosa can heal their injuries. The person cannot die from any kind of injury while Rosa is concentrating on them, but if they are poisoned or have a disease, she can’t heal that. Covenant Mark Location: Just above her buttocks. Bio: One of the youngest inside the covenant; Hanna was the only female or so she thought; born to this family bloodline, and with it the responsibility of carrying the duties of protecting The covenant along with the other bloodlines. Hanna or better known to others as the "New Child" trained and taught from a young age the loyalty of the covenant and withing it the loyalty to the other bloodlines. Was also tough about the power she would gain at her sixteenth birthday and the consequences that brings this power. She is sometimes misjudged for her fragile appearance, But she is one to give it all for the covenant, Hanna is one of the youngest but her actions sometimes show different, which is sometimes troublesome for the Mature ones of the bloodline. Now she assist the St.John institution as well with the others and tries o live what Humans define as a "Normal" life, sometimes needs help from the other mature siblings for her powers are just awakening. Name: Alastair Sterling Gender: Male Age: 24 Role: Teacher Family: The Nightwish Location: Edmonton, England (Lives in own house) Personality & Hobby: Alastair is quite often lost in thought and spends much of his free time reading. He is kind and gentle, but he does not have much patience for those who bother him and he is known to be lazy at times. Bio: Alastair is one of the few remaining members of the Nightwish family. He took a job as a teacher in order to remain close to the other family branches and keep an eye on them. Alastair lives on his own as opposed to living in the Nightwish manor. This is mainly due to his longstanding disputes with the family head, Rosa Nightwish. For that reason, he also rarely speaks with her. Abilities: -Gravitational Control - Can increase or decrease gravity on an object or within a small area. -Alchemic Mind - Can turn one material in to another with mind, forming objects for multiple uses such as combat and everyday living. He maintaining his casual,and can be misjudged as Harmless. His favorite thing to do is Teach and play the Piano. Bio: Even though Dante is one considerably carefree,he hold a deep grudge against the other bloodlines for the pain and suffering that his family had to endure after been banished all these years. Hanna Allen ll Evening ll St.John Institution ll The evening bell echoed around the institution, the murmurs of students recored the aisles. Teachers in the classroom alone arranging the material for the next day. The theme of the day was the arrival of the children of John. Everyone knew the alleged stories. And suddenly a resounding silence grabbed the aisles. While the girl known as Hanna Allen or one of the children, walked amongst them. Her long hair, her cold blue eyes bittersweet grabbed the boys by the throat. And to be 17 her beauty was almost unsurpassed, fragile and lovely. Her eyes did not connect with absolutely anyone. Until she stopped in front of a student. She look up because of her petite size. The young man was admired by the girls at school and for the rumors Hanna and him were some how siblings. Then the silence ended, and what was heard was the murmur of the females on Tsukumo Murasame. Then Hanna spoke "Tsukumo, Good Evening" She said as there eyes connected. "Will we walk together home again?" She asked as she hold his arm. For some reason Hanna was very found of Tsukumo. She looked at him awaiting his answer. Most of the Bloodlines live under John Mansion, which was build centuries ago, and in that house was when The Covenant took birth. |

As the girls walked away, Hannah walked towards me and looked up at me in the eye. 'Tsukumo, Good Evening' She said as our eyes connected. "Will we walk together home again?" She asked as she hold my arm. 'Sure why not, lady Hannah' I answered with a smile. We walked off towards our home in St.John Institution together as we always did. Finally we had arrived. |

She glares at the person staring at her. "What the hell are you looking at? Get out of here!" She tells the person, who runs the other way. "Sheesh, can't get a little peace of time lately. (Just a question, what time period is this? Reading over the opening, I was under the impression that this was 18th Century England, but I want to be sure) [St.John Institution l Evening] Alastair was standing behind his desk as the students began to leave. Many of the boys in the class seemed transfixed by one of the girls in the class, prompting Alastair to roll his eyes slightly and snap the book he was holding shut. He sighed lightly as he picked up his bag. "Honestly. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if it turned out that they hadn't heard a word I have said all day." He turned and left the room, going straight past the lounge where the other teachers were gathering and exited the building. He wasn't in the mood to do any form of work at the moment and simply wanted to head home to rest and have time to himself. |

(I'm gonna join Jon's family. Was exactly looking for a special ability RP) Name: Ryuu "Blacksmith" Gender: Male Age: 38 Role: Blacksmith Family: Nightwish Location: Edmonton, England. Lives in his Atelier. Personality: Ryuu is a straightforward man, usually choosing least complicated solutions. He has an overwhelming willpower. Bio: Ryuu is working as a blacksmith(he takes private requests regarding iron and steel, which starts from forging something to fixing complicated mechanisms). His domain is the metal. Usually his work is making kitchen knives. He also sometimes does repairs for school and teaches students handicrafts. Abilities: Iron Tempering - Ryuu has a control over metals, making him able to change shapes of nearby metal objects. For example, he can turn an iron street lamp into an armor. He also can undo his changes. He can use metal in many ways, however, he is limited with a range of several meters. Also he can't affect metal in a close range of other people(like using iron in their blood). Enchantment - He can enchant items he create with various ablities. The enchantment, as well as Tempering aren't eternal and going to automatically undo after some time passes. He also can only support three enchantments at once. Appearance: Ryuu is an adult muscular man with a slightly dark skin(due to being next to a forge most of the time). He is usually wearing a black coat over dark gray t-shirt and a black cloth pants. Both his eyes and hair are colored dark-green, with hair being long straight(up to his belt), usually tied into a single tail. Covenant mark: A big one on his back. |

Name: Edward Styx Gender: Male Age: 17 Role: Student Family: None Location: His housing is provided by St. John's, meaning he lives on the Institution grounds, but he is frequently out. Personality & Hobby: He doesn't often show emotion. He's extremely analytical, and enjoys tests of mental ability. He's also a good judge of character. However, his ability to think doesn’t mean he doesn’t like a good scuffle, and in fact he delights in outsmarting his opponents in a street fight. Bio: When Edward was born, his Greek father (Propheus Styx) left for Greece again and left Edward in the hands of his good friend Urvan Blackfall, then head of the Blackfall family. (His mother died in childbirth.) Edward was raised under the strict rules of the Blackfall household – small wonder that he fled to the violent streets of Edmonton many times. He developed extremely good fighting skills, as well as a penchant for determining friend from foe. Come his sixteenth birthday, Edward also developed an insignia on his left hand, and was admitted to the Institution immediately. Abilities: -Covenant Ability: Edward can create ice. This ability works best by far when he's touching the ice with his left hand, or when he's close to a body of ice that's connected to the ice he's creating. -Street Fighting -Analytical Mind Covenant Mark Location: On the palm of his left hand. Appearance: Raven-black hair, pale skin. He's tall, but he doesn’t look especially athletic. He tends to scowl.

@Otaku: I think you're supposed to belong to one of families... though that's stated nowhere, some phrases hint it. @Inaby: I'm a Massacre Town not Message Town T.T You can just call my by a login: Moggle :) [Outside Ryuu's Atelier] Ryuu just finished forging(he was requested to make several showels for a certain farmer association) and was sitting outside his workshop and drinking tea. He had a special table installed there, reminding cafe one, so he was usually eating and drinking there (unless when it rained). It was a bit cold today, but that was perfect for him, as he was cooling down after working with a furnace. Taking a sip of tea, he looked at the house standing next to his Atelier. Ryuu: Alastair, huh... A boy(from Ryuu's perspective) was living there. It wasn't long that they were introduced to each other, but apparently they belonged to the same bloodline and he was either Ryuu's nephew or a younger brother - he didn't know for sure. Thinking about something he picked up a fork and it rapidly changed shape into a spoon. He wasn't usually overusing his power, or using it in the common life, but right now he did it just as a demonstration for himself. Ryuu: Well, at the very least we both are different from normal humans... |

Dante - Evening - St. John Institution- Dante was alone was he could here the sound of the students silence, he was standing next to the window of the door, as he saw the young Hanna walked by. He smiled lightly as she passed and ended up beside The young leader Strauss. The after he saw every single member of the different bloodlines pass by as if nothing was wrong. They would calmly walk away from the truth,some how the carefree look that Dante usually haves wiped away. Then he closed the book on his hands which had no tittle. Then he walked towards his desk and sat down for he was awaiting for some one. Then after seconds He walked in and quickly asked " 'So. . .what is our next mission?'" It was Ulquiorra,also a Hallow. Dante rose his gaze towards Ulquiorra as his eyes were cold. Carefully placing the book on top of the desk he said. "Ulquiorra.. I desired more than anything to gain the power that is rightfully ours to keep. But you know that is easy said then done." " But that could change if they were to have a weak point" As he said that he slowly took out one small block from the side of the small tower, as it leaned one way. " See just like this tower, if a piece is missing or weaken it would tumble slowly down.." Then he looked at Ulquiorra. " All we need to do is weaken them slowly and then..the rest.. is just a game..." He said as he smiled. He then looked out the window and saw how the other family members walked in different paths. "It will be easy" and then The Ascendancy and The Covenant will be again in our hands..." He let out a spark of electricity and names appeared before Ulquiorra burned into the desk. The names were; -Hanna Allen and Shana Strauss- " They are the youngest and more inexperienced, easy bate for you.. Ulquiorra. Then will get the others.. Lets just pay a reminder of who they have forgotten..." As he stood up and placed his hand on the book, sending small shock waves burning it slowly. " Ulquiorra.. Remember they mite have others watching over, Do Not Hesitate to take leave if things get tight. As for me.. " He stood silent and walked away.

[Ulquiorra|Music Room|Evening] 'Yes I understood, but targeting Hannah Allen will prove tricky since the young strauss leader is always with her,' I stated. I then walked off and began planning. The first target will have to be hanna, since the allen family are the center of the John institution. I jumped onto school roof and watch as Hannah allen walked off to John's Manor with Tsukumo Murasame Strauss. With a flick of my hand, I attack Hanna mentally with the psychic attack. I watched as the young hanna suddenly clutched her head as if in pain. I saw the young leader strauss knelt over hannah in concern and began look around trying to find the attacker. Too bad I am hidden in the shadows. . . I watched as Hannah and Tsukumo hurried back to the manor even though hannah herself is in pain mentally. I attack her again with the psychic attack, which cause her more pain mentally. I stop my attack and withdraw. I believe that should be enough to alert 'them'. |

Edward Styx, Park, Evening Edward was skipping class. Again. He enjoyed street brawls, and he hated taking classes despite the fact that he found them somewhat easy. He saw someone he thought he recognized out of the corner of his eye as he sat on the remains of what was once a stone wall. Was it... Rita Blackfall? The two of them were childhood friends, as Edward had been raised by Rita's family. Edward looked at the person - yes, it was Rita - and made eye contact. "Hey," he said informally, raising a hand.
