@DA: Haha... go think about it~ =Þ

@ Resurfaced only till before I get lazy again for limited period only~
indeed... someone once told me... is usually not possible for the amount you love him = the amount he loves you (or for guy's perspective... you know what to change.....) because there will usually be one party loving the other more than the other party's love (complicated isn't it... LOVE is complicating...). But love is not about comparison (at least if you compare, you will never be happy cause you will never be satisfied...) but if you can find someone who loves you enough and you love the person enough, I guess... that is "enough"~
As for difficulties, I feel that going through those can make or break a relationship (be it boy-girl, friends, sibilings, parents, etc). When going through difficulties together, it is also a chance to test if you feel that the other party is right for you... in terms of thoughts, words and actions~

[@Rinnie] lol, I say that all the time actually. XD
But yeah, once I get older I'll procrastinate less and less.
If I want to do the things I claim I'll be doing, can't procrastinate one second, haha.

[@Engel] Hoho, maybe I'll PM you. ^_~`

@Naru - For me, yes, yes it is. I don't really have good self esteem, which leads to no confidence, and self esteem is a lot harder to fix depending on the person. >.>

Was hoping to have some money saved up from last pay check, but then I had to go and get the wires and spark plugs replaced on my car, which pretty much drained everything I had. Good news is that I have been getting more hours than normal this week, so next Friday I should have money left to save (assuming nothing else falls off the car in that time).

College starts in about 3 and a half weeks for me too. I'm getting really nervous, for a lot of reasons. -_-

[@JC] lol, well actually a P90 is a gun, but that's a different story.
Hmm, I don't normally work out since I don't really know any gyms near me, and I hate paying to work out, lol.

Maybe I should work out to stretch out my body and get taller though, who knows. XD

[@Jon] Yeah Fall term is around the corner, my sister should be back to school soon as well back home,
and my other friends are starting their new college terms since they transferred from my school. :/

I forget about your college situation, I know you're taking that one class, but are you going full time and living on campus?

@JC: After weeks of getting on the train through the back doors aka fare evasion, i actually got caught but when the driver told me to come up, i didnt cuz i had no cash to actually pay xD so he said he's gonna call the inspector on me haha. Luckly 4 me i just had to take the train for one stop, if i stayed on any longer and made it to one of the bigger stations, i probably wouldve gotten fined and arrested. Its against the law to fare evade...even if you live a stop away you gotta pay 2 bucks haha. Waste.

yes yes ..that hahaha...

i am bad in communication, probably the reason why i am still single *wink*

i had to attend Moral Education class today and i found out that.. i have a tough time attending this class..

actually..i have tough times attending all the classes so far..i dislike the ice-breaking session which requires people to tell about yourself..and so,i have a hard time to open up and speak for myself..(lack of assertiveness)
so today,i thought i was going to give it a try but when the lecturer asked me about my name,i told her..but the guy sat in front of the row suddenly said a few things and the lecturer looked at others and said
"oh well, you know her right,so we shall pass her and goes to the next person"
i tried though but i still failed.. i did not give a chance to speak..i lost the chance to do so..and i asked myself :"is it my fault?"

and the rest of the class,i was ignored..but it is alright..i am used to it..but this might be the first time i felt that..being ditched and ostricized by the peers and groups just because i could not react what considers 'normally' to them

about the class.. i write above the note 'revise considered'

i am not too sure if the terms and meanings are solely what she thinks the terms are .. or the terms universally.. as Moral Education..

i realize i was attending what considered to be philosophy, which is much to my amazement and a little delirious..but since i didn't get to tell what i feel like telling..i am pretty much bottled up with what i feel like telling..

like for example the term of 'good' and 'bad' that she has given would be 'good' that creates harmony and 'bad' inflicts pain..

but a thought of 'pain' as 'bad',to another perception, there is 'pain' for 'good' as 'pain' creates empathy or sympathy that allows people to create a list of 'good', which considers morally behaviour and acceptable (social norm).. so to consider 'pain' is bad, that if 'pain' is removed, then would person still considers anything as 'good' and 'bad' because they could not consider to have the feeling of 'pain' and that will bring much of a destruction about two balance of both of them, where there might be no terms of 'good' or 'bad' ,because the foundation has been destroyed as well..

i think.. ,_,

sorry ;x .. for the whole rant ..

It was really fun! My first concert! Not a huge band, but hey, I at least knew a few of the songs they played... from guitar hero xD

@DA - No, I'm going to be staying at home and just driving there (well, mom works around the area, so I'll mostly be carpooling, which should save me a lot of money on gas). I am going full time again, but I'll actually be going to the college this time instead of doing things online, so I'm hoping it will be a lot easier to keep up with my subjects.

What about you? How far are you in your studies? Any specific number of years left?

[@Jon] Ah, commuting sort of, not a bad choice since your mom works close.
I wish I could commute, but I live far. Possibly my final quarter I'll either commute or use the train/subway. :/

That's good you can finally start college though. I'm sure things are going to be a lot different here on out.
If you're focus and don't procrastinate like I keep doing all the time, you'll be fine depending on your starter classes I guess.

This summer quarter is my fourth quarter (of 12).
Since I'm going to go to school year round, as much as I hate it and as tiring as it is, I'll graduate in three years.
One year's pretty much out of the way now as we're halfway through this damn quarter!
Two years left, I should be done by Fall 2012, which is still early compared to like everyone else pretty much.
Hopefully I'm not forced out due to financial aid issues or I don't drop anymore classes, but I feel good in the long run.

Well Adel. Sad to say the world is always a little too quick to judge and too slow to give 2nd chances... Having your lecturer said that I think she herself lack of the patience needed to hold a ice breaking "class". Being a "good" teacher needs to help students to feel that they are part of the group and not let them go onto their own just because they are not as sociable as others... Even though that, I feel that friends are important in this world because they are the people who can give you support and opinions when you need them. Do try and find people you can click with. Starting with 1 person at a time~ Take it as... training for going into the society~

do you believe that..there are some people , no matter how hard they have tried to get a friend,it just never work...
from time to time.. keep on trying, keep on trying but in the end.. it never work out..
it is weird.. because 'friend' to the definition never works for them.. and that no matter how hard they try,it just won't work...

they are even the ones that you can see, laughing or smiling happily in front of people..or easily approachable..or even some that are not: a little shy and not easily approachable..
they keep trying, keep trying.. but till the end, there is no such thing as 'friendship' in their lives..
so.. they only accepted the fact that there would be no such thing in their lives..
wwww

sounds depressing but sometimes it just happens..
there are things that just won't work to other people even if they have done the necessary steps ..
so what can they do.. they still need to live..
they choose to live a different life than the others have.. that is what..they are able to do..at least

@Anke-I've finished School and College a while ago. Summer holiday, not that exciting. Except July, my family and I went to Italy for a week. I've still got Japanese lessons every week.

@DA - That's a big 'if' in my case.

I'll be done with my course pretty much the same time as you will. My Executive course anyway, I'll be done the General course by next June if all goes well.

I'm a little unsure of how college will be. I'm not really excited about it, since I really didn't like life in high school (the social part or the education part). Judging by the orientation we had, there are things like movie night and clubs to join (I doubt there is an Anime club though, unfortunately, since there are few fans around where I live as far as I know), but I'm not sure if I will take part in that stuff.

As long as I can keep to myself for most of the time then I think I won't mind it. I'm not that great at making friends or socializing in a school setting, so I would rather just be on my own and try to focus on the course.

[@Jon] Hmm, is your college a public system college or a private one (like mines).
My school system is a bit different though, compared to other schools.
We run on a 12 quarter system, roughly 11 weeks each quarter (but summer quarters are a week shorter).
You can either finish in four years which is what normally college students do,
but you can also go to school during the summer (like I have to), and finish earlier.
So I'll be graduating a lot earlier than a lot of my friends by almost a year or two, which'll be great,
because after I graduate here, I want to go to Australia or something, see if I can go to school for Korean language or something,
and then a few years later or so, off overseas to pursue acting. ^_~`

You won't get used to college that quickly, but try to be a bit more open and make some good friends.
Some people make a lot of friends and then others make like one friend who they know for like the rest of their lives.
Honestly, I wouldn't mind one or the other, having close friends who care about you is better than the quantity of friends in general.

My school has a lot of lame clubs, there is an anime club which I was initially interested in before coming here,
but it's full of like, too many obsessive fans over lame series at that,
plus I kinda hate the one guy who's in it (he's my high school friends' roomate and he's like rude against me for some reason).
Long story short, I didn't want to join it, I'd rather find fans online. It's hard to explain really.

It sucks for me though cause as I'm making more friends and whatnot in my term age (quarter age),
a lot of them, if not all of them are either moving out of the dorms, and/or transferring to another school.
I'm pretty much being left on my own, haha, I guess I can focus on school more? Nawt. XD

You do wanna do good in school though and focus. Trust me procrastination has raped me the past like, three quarters. It sucks.

We all sooner or later have to get used to such a new life style, and I'm slowly understanding that now.
It's good we still have this forum to communicate still, however eventually I will probably make lesser appearances and eventually leave.
The population is too small now and it's getting crowded with n00bs. D:

The thing about friends is... well... like any other relationships, it is complicated. Making friends is just the first step but keeping them is what really make friends, friends...Is hard to really spell it out here but I would say, in our society these days, friends are not easy to make bacause it seems so difficult to open to people and to confide in them. Having confide in 1 wrong person might just make you feel that you don't wanna be near any one any more. What worst is that we are open hidden behind closed doors (like at where I stay, people rarely greet nor bring food to share with their neighbours like people once did. And when at home, they prefer to keep themselves behind closed doors where they feel safe in their own little circle.
Personally, I would think that one would need to open up oneself in order to find a true friend... but it is not easy cause you've got to find a right person to open up to in the first place. Then... slowly... build up confidence in that person and learn to endure the differences between and that will help keep the relationship. Trying to keep one isn't simple... it actually does take efforts and some people need to put in more than others. As for me, I am very much better in breaking relationships with people rather than making or maintaining them~

To the good'ol folks of The Single Club. I'm having a slight problem in Gendou... it would seems that I can't download music recently from the music page cause it shows that I am not logged in... even though I am and moving myself to another page in Gendou proofs so (without me touching the login/log out bar). I was previously having the same problem at the "music - view requests" page but it didn't really bothered me... but now, it does bother me... though the "music - view requests" page has gone back to normal, now is the "music - download page" I'm having problem with...
I would like to know if anyone here has the same problem and how you managed to resolved it~~ Thanks guys!!

@DA - Mine is a provincial public college. It runs on terms here, but how long it takes to graduate depends on the course you take. The program I plan to go through will take two years. I will most likely go back and do a different program if/when I complete this one though. At least that way I can have something to fall back on.

I don't expect there to be any clubs for me to join. I just don't think that there are many people in my area (let alone going to the same college as me) that share my interests. There are apparently movie nights though, so I may go to those simply because I'm a movie lover.

I will probably focus more on school than anything. I've never really been a go-getter when it comes to making friends, unfortunately. Besides, with the way I did during my last attempt at college, I should be focusing entirely on school. >.>
