@Bart Wow, your Ragnarok Online character looks nice, I wonder what job are there? Especially the small one. Black Smith? @ichvon ROSE Online!! Wowowow! So nostalgic! It's makes me feel back of my old time playing ROSE online ^^ The Moldy Miner doll that the girl holding, is so kawaii ^^ @evil-kitty I've never play trickster online before, but you drew your job characters(is it gambler or joker?) looks wonderful, especially the girl that one. I really wish I can draw some kind of those line art nicely! Oh ya, about asking Ragnarok Online gameplay, it's quite okay and fun, but I've long time ago didn't play it, so I can't quite explain how fun it is now... Okay, time for me to post some of my computer generated art/wallpaper(might not look so well hehehe)   Alternative Color of Suiseiseki that is from RM AliBat's suiseiseki The resolution I have shrink down to 640x480  |

Sakura Nami - Face Details by ~ichvon on deviantART im currently working with my own manga now and this is the main character which is also my OC, Sakura Nami. For the meantime, here's the Face detail only. ----------------------------------------------------------------- im too lazy to comment so ill just going to comment on my scope @ R i z a - Nice sideview ^^ and I love the Hair details xDD Keep it up!!! @ A r i a - I quitted the game just recently since its taking my precious time >x< im a full donator so the game itself is really spoiled in my part xDD Within 1 day, I managed to lvl up till lvl 200 xDD its really easy if you have good lvling set xDD I quitted at lvl 275.. That is the only remembrance I made for that game ^^ Nostalgic tooo xDD seeing the tsundere of Rozen Maiden xDD just one tip, try to balance the drawing ^^ try to read several manga's for reference ;] @ e v i l - k i t t y - thanks ^^ I just study on my own so for sure you can do it too ^^ you still have the time to study if you will budget your time properly xDD I really like clean line-arts!!! why not color it ;] ------------------------------------------------------ time-out now so ill just comment again afterwards ^^ see yah again xDD

Wow, finally this thread has some people posting now? ><" hehehe I though it was abandon threads haha @Riza Actually your drawing can be improve too, maybe next time you can suppress me too ;) You can use camera to take snap shot as what I've did ^_^ @Ichvon I really like to see your drawing style, it is very impressive and nice arts. Seeing yours one makes me feel have more motivation on drawing ^^" Today I won't post anything, I will post it when I have free time or when I'm back from outstation, so I'm not infront of my main PC, can't post anything now ><" And I wish everyone keep posting anything, so this will makes me want to draw more thing :D |

o.o Its alive! The thread is ALIVE!!! XD *Ahem* Nice to see some new entries. Will be looking forward to what other works you guys will post up in the future ;) Now for comments: @Aria I've never played Trickster online either XD The tricksters I drew are kinda like my take on some job type characters; thief, paladin, wizard, etc. I heard that Trickster online has that too, but represented with an animal name or something; wizard=sheep, cat=fighter, fox=singer, etc. I could be wrong, but i did remember something about animals ^^; *goes hide under rock* Anyways, love your chibis and your use of colour. Ich mentioned something about balance. Probably referring to the body proportions. Chibi's tend to be drawn in all kind of ways, but I think if you shrink the head a but and make the neck less thicker it would make your chibis look much better ;) @Riza Hopefully you'll have the opportunity to clean up your next works. And I absolutely love Vampire Knight! Love how you did the hair too ^^ @Shiki Argh! I still need to find that series! Thanks for reminding me, lol XD Nagi without Hayate *le gasp* @Ich Oh, a manga :D I would really like to read it someday :3 Ahh....I would love to colour my works except I'm still an amateur at it. Still lacking in a lot of things; shading hair, lightsource, shading clothes, etc. -_-; One of my main problems I should think is because I'm too lazy to practice OTL @Azure Are these your original characters? Love em' What of story setting are they in? Fantasy? Horror? Slice of life? And I really like your manga toning skills too :) *makes note to self to practice that* ------------------------------------------ Just two that I did from last month. Hope to make at least 50 of these and sell them at an art gathering this December with a minimum between $3 to $7 each from originals to fanart. Only have 10 done so I'm way, waybehind D: Some random character. Feels kinda CLAMP-esque. Went a bit overboard with the details. Think I should add more butterflies?  Fanart of Hatsune Miku. Probably will sell this for $3 or $4  And before any of you might ask. Nope, they won't be coloured. It's all plain black and white works. *wishes she can colour nicely like ich and a few others*  |

Ugh...I'm too busy and don't have the time to draw anymore Dx except for the little sketches on my college notes xP @Evil-kitty What? Really? It's so hard to find people who loves these kind of shows xD The name of that actress is Crystal Liu Yi Fei by the way <3 Kirara looks cute =D /envy how kitty can draw backgrounds so good You can actually use this for your miku miku background =D @Vorbis Thanks...I tried doing manga once but I sucked big time >_< I prefer single pictures like that xD Lol...I too used a camera to snap my pictures xDD especially with the absence of scanner in my house D= @Holkers Holkie =O! Didn't know you draw.... Not really a fan of naruto but I can say quite the effort you put up there...that's a crap load of naruto pictures there xDD @Ich Owh~ wow....I was half convinced that it was Yui from K-On! until I saw the Sakura Nami name on it xD @Azure Wow! @ evil kitty thanks XD the characters are original, but there's no story planned yet. oh and the toning was really done on photoshop @ Liwen lol, yeah, this thread is revived XD thanks, i've been kinda out of practice on colouring recently... I draw all the time on my notes too, lol

@Liwen: *facepalm* Stencils! Why hadn't I thought of that in the first place?!? DX Lol, thanks for the reminder though. My mom used to draw too so I think she still has her old stencils lying around somewhere. Not sure if she has the cricle ones that you showed me. *plans on searching the house later* Argh, I haven't watched gintama yet. I know my friend has it in her harddrive. I hope she hasn't deleted it yet >.< On another note, I came across the story of the condor heroes thanks to a singaporean manga artist (want to say his name, but scared that I'll get it wrong). Been a long time since i picked it up. Managed to watch Legend of Arching Hero too, the one where the story focuses on a young Guo Jing. I just love chinese martial arts series ^^ @slapu: A very well done attempt for someone who just learned how to do photoshop :) @ich: Hehe, I'm over 18 so, yay! XD It looks lovely so far. I'm confident you'll do great :) I can relate to the drawing style issue. I still don't know if I found mine. My style tends to change depending on my mood. Though I noticed that I have two main styles, one that looks between semi-realism with anime style, and...uh plain anime style, lol with big eyes and and small noses XD -------------------------------------------  Who here has played Valkyrie Profile before? I love that game! I wish I could play the psp version though. Don't have one >.< Planning on drawing Rufus and Alicia later. Argh, Rufus' outfit is gonna kill me DX Like i hadn't nearly died from figuring out Lenneth's armor DXXX  Some random idea that popped into my head. It looks kinda scary (& harsh) in opinion. I wonder if anyone will buy this one ^^; |

@ Ich - that is really good I love how smooth the lines look! And the eyes! I wish I could draw eyes like that! Also your recent post is so cool with the color!!! And thanks for the comment on mine :) @Azure - they are both really good, but I especially like the one that is colored, did you do that with colored pencil? @Aria - oh I know my drawings can improve!! My best friend is an amazing artist so I will be spending my time trying to catch up to her! Thanks for the tip about the camera I'll try that out next time! @ Kitty - All four are awesome, the girl in the tree and the singer from your first post are my favorites but I absolutely love the detail you have put into all of them! @ Slapu - Oh wow how did you manage that while just learning photoshop! It's amazing, I'm learning photoshop too but none of my stuff is like that! Perhaps you can give me a few pointers ^.^ ok now for some stuff I've been working on XD. I started using photoshop in my graphic arts class, but I'm not that talented... lol in this pic I had a field day with a glitter brush :)  This is one that I did a LONG time ago... also before I knew the photo trik... so please excuse my scanner once again. @ichvon yea, i color it myself using some pictures for references. Its really nice to have your own art styles which i still have not master have it yet those mangakas/artists out there all have their own style of drawing which makes their works so unique. @Riza well...For a starter I depend a lot on the pentool and some reference pics to do tracing & some editing,All these things do drain a lot of patience when learning -,-" |

There are 4 types of drawing about a new Mermaid Princess(just a little imagination from Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch)    Basically,I draw and colored them on a sketchpad though.

It's been ages since i had a chance to participate in this thread....however i'm relieved to see it hasn't died off thanks to the efforts of true passionate artists out there. I recognize old faces as well as see new comers to the thread treating us to their own talents. I would do my usual thing and comment on all the stuff since my last post....unfortunately i'm too lazy to even attempt it, so i'll save all of you the agony of going through what would be an entire novel :P I haven't truly sat down & drawn the usual style that i do mainly cause of time. When you get to be my age time is a luxury that you don't have alot of....you'll understand sooner than later. So the stuff i will be sharing with you are pics done roughly while on the bus or at break when i'm at work. It may be the style that i will have to do for the time being but at least it is something. I hope familiar contributers & newer ones of this thread will enjoy these & when i get the chance will like to again RE-OPEN the request thread. That i would love to do.....in the meantime enjoy. All Thumbnailed      Descriptions 1) Belldandy from Ah! My Goddess - her hair is by far the most difficult thing in any character i've drawn. 2) Tomoyo from CLANNAD - simple yet cute 3) Soutaro from Kaicho wa Maid-sama - a character from the request thread...though Angelus-san already did a great job on one. 4) Minako-chan from Sailormoon - one of my many many drawings of my absolute fave character in the world! 5) Mikuru & Asakura from Suzumiya - a reference pic was used for this one...not as detailed & definitely not as good as the reference. still it was a fun attempt.  |
