 Hello everyone, I am an avid player of the YuGiOh OCG/TCG (Original card game *jap* and Trading card game *english*) and i come from Singapore. Well....... the real reason why i am making this thread is because i want to know how the card game is played and enjoyed by the world! ^^ Another is that i want to improve myself and maybe your decks and skills O.O Anyone is free to post here be it to talk, comment or to learn! I have no idea if there was such a thread created before but i seriously hope that all YuGiOh players and YuGiOh Player Wannabes will come here Nya~ One more thing I think it would be best if you would tell us which country you live in so that i can process accurate information. XD Hmmmm i really am quite useless on making decisions and such so help will be appreciated from anyone and everyone ^^ The more the merrier! Lets make this club work! Lastly, if there are enough people here i hope we can really make this thread flourish!!! Oh yea..... one more thing, this thread exists so that we may be able to discuss about the game we love (or want to love) and improve our skills. Any info about how the game is play where you are/live is appreciated. The reason being so we may cross reference and analyse our strategies and our decks to make them the best out there so lets get our game on!!!!

wow!! a yugi oh club ^^' I was a player long time ago, but since I have noone o play with i just stop it... I don't even remeber wheer my deck is ¬¬ Of course I never used original cards (to expemsive) but another cheaper cards that were sold around here on paper stores and gracery stores and so... I remeber I had a water deck, and my bro had another deck of... some mages that had a special field, don't remeber the name right now and it was really hard to beat him (he had original cards BTW) Anyway, let me be the first one in join this club ^^ *hugs*   |

Woots! first member XD welcome~ *hugs* ^^ yea i used to start off with those kind of cards too. At first i thought it would just come and go just like any other hobby, but then i got hooked =# after you find a community that shares the same passion as you the feeling is really nice! Btw where do you come from DN? (do you mind me using short form?) Depending on the country there are varying numbers of players. The places where Yugioh is most played would be the US and Japan with smaller groups like singapore, germany and so on O.O Haha i remember the time when Mage deck was really powerfull ^^ it was boosted by cards like dimension magic and chaos sorceror~ Now Magicians are making a come back! In December the enw Magician deck will be launced and there are a whole load of powerfull cards ^^

I'm from Colombia, and everybody calls me DN XD (I have a few avy's of "DN") and here the only place where I know you can play it, you need the original cards, but since I don't have them... well. to bad. I have ´played a lot in the Game boy though. it is fun, but it would be nice to play with another human ^^' |

hey blueberries! XD hmm i played before (using non-original cards and also in PS1)...but i forgot how already...DX i never have the chance to grab the originals...hehe lemme join? even tho i'm not so...good in this lol XDDD and btw don't use the term "jap". it's racist XO  |

@DN- Yea i know what you mean =/ the yugioh games get boring after awhile on consoles =( always the same thing. Hmmmm is it hard to get original cards in Colombia? @Kira- ^^ Hello~ really pleased to see you. Yay this thread is growing slowly =D Hmmmm when i use the term "jap", I'm merely referring to Japanese,which i have to differentiate from the English cards because some people don't know which is which but never mind, I'll keep your words in mind ^^ Hmmm apart from English and Japanese cards i know there are German, Korean, and french cards =/ Hmmmmm maybe next time I'll make a guide to playing YuGiOh =#. Has anyone watched the new YuGiOh 5d's series yet?

I played a few games on the GBA, and I had fun with it. This was of course a long time ago, and I watched the original Yu-Gi-Oh on TV, too. The anime was ridiculous with the whole, "believe in the cards" thing, I remember Jon saying something like this elsewhere before, but now it's completely different. Like, where's Yugi in the current series? Ha.

i was hook with the card game about 4 years ago and off course like everyone else i don't remember my deck but i still remember my playing style my deck usually consist bunch of 4 star monster with special ability, rather than sacrificing them for 8 star monster i usually buff the 4 star monster i probably only have 3 monster card above 4 star does anyone still have their deck? show it to us so we can analyse it xD

@raizo nice tactics XD well i don't have my deck anymore >_> since they're fake cards, my mom just threw them away @Dangel lol i hate he believe in the cards thing too...it's so weird XD @wootos welcome then :P hmm you have watched 5D's then? @blueberries same here ^^ ohh so many languages also... guide? XD i haven't watch 5D's yet...but i heard it's good enough. |

@ALL- OMG I PRESSED BACK WHEN I FINISHED TYPING OUT MY DECK LIST T.T OMG OMG OMG it took me 1 hour............I'll post it some other time i need to go get myself ready for the AFA Huzzah!!! The guide will be posted later when i have free time ^^ @Kira- They anime itself is nice and the effects arent bad either =D But when they play on their motorbikes it really is very unrealistic. But anime is about making the impossible seem possible right? @Devils-Angel- Yea i agree, that "believing in the heart of the cards" thing is corny....... on the overall i would like to see yugi lose more =.=" Hmm now the series is at YuGiOh 5ds. They play on motorcycles known as D-wheels O.O quite cool actually but no logic =.= how the hell do you play cards on a motorbike??? =.=" @Wootos- Welcome ^^ Nya~ the Gx series wasnt that bad (unless you watched the dubbed versions, cause fox kids screwed up Judai's *the main character in the GX series* personality making him seem really childish and naive...... @Raizo- Hello there ^^ i wanted to post my deck list =.= but i screwed up at the last minute........ Well anyway, the way you play your deck is now really common in the use of "anti-meta" but now this kind of gameplay is really important ^^ I'll post my deck list sometime later after i remodel it again. *Meta: Meta or Meta-game is what is currently the fastest (and most effective). If they get a good hand, it is possible to perform an OTK (or one-turn-kill) and if you don't die, the chances of you winning will be very slim. **Anti-Meta: Anti-Meta focuses on slowing Meta decks down and possibly locking and limiting their choices. This causes you to have many openings and can lead you to victory.

| Yeah! This is interesting, coming across a yugioh club. I think I should get in on this action while it lasts. I loved the original series(season 0), Duel Monsters, and 5Ds. I have 4 decks in my possession, and I occasionally play my cousin who prefers using my water deck as opposed to any of the other four decks. There's a water deck, Dark Scorpion deck, LVL 8 Monster deck, and my beloved Dragon deck. Anyways so yeah... I'm still hardcore into yugioh. |

ah its ok to play pirated decks, we only do it for fun anyway xD @Blueberries: ah i didn't know that term, i guess the game been growing since played last time. You should explain more term, it's really interesting to know them even if i didn't play anymore xD

Kira! *hugs* I didn't know you're in this club :D I don't think the 5Ds are not as popular as the Yu-Gi-Oh and the GX one in Dublin. I never seen the latest series sadly TT___TT But I did notice the 5D deck set and booster packs in some shops. I need to do loads of research xD My head's all rusty :( Blueberries, I agree. The dang 4Kids dubbing. >:( Its childish voices put me off. But the storyline isn't that great though. I'm more on the Yu-Gi-Oh oldskool. |

I remember the anime first started out with them actually playing realistically. Then Kaiba comes in and gets destroyed by some unknown kid (Yugi), then that's when like the world changed forever, haha. I hardly remember all the Millennium items, too. I thought those were kinda cool.

i was a hardcore duelist then and know i run 8 decks im like bandit keith xp spellcasters,water,fire,deck out,burn,dimond dude turbo,geartown and law of normal^^ i love yugioh  |

@Yuki- XD geartown WHEEEE lol i used to play that deck too. It is really very irritating =/ and when the ancient gear golem hits the field then OMG =D o.o post decklists! I want to see XD @Devils-Angel- Hmmmm for me i thought the starting of the first yugioh series was crap =# before duelist kingdom it was pretty bad, during duelist kingdom it got a little better but they played with the old YuGiOh rules (not needing to tribute monsters for a summon and such). And when they reached Battle City that was when it got interesting ^^ Hmmm the millennium items consist of the millennium puzzle, eye, necklace, rod, key, scale, and the brooch (i think...... this belonged to Ishizu, Marik Ishtar's sister) @Kira- Yeah i agree >< Hmmm i used to have the same problem when rping =.=" and this way my posts always got cancelled T.T now i learnt my lesson i put it on remember me =) @Wootos- Hmmm the new 5ds series is interesting probably because of the *Synchro monsters. So far the latest booster is Crimson crisis, which features the new buster monsters which require the trap card buster mode and the synchro monster written on the card as summoning requirements but their effects are imba ^^. The 5ds series started of by The duelist genesis and then Crossroads Of Chaos, both which boast powerfull synchro monsters. Also if i remember correctly, either last december or this years June there was the world YuGiOh tourny held in dublin O.O which means there should be a considerable amount of people playing in there as i heard from my friend who went there for the tournament (but lost) as he was the winner of the qualifier in Singapore say that the crowd was more than five hundred O.O @Raizo- ^^ I agree. I also started out with a deck made out of fake cards. But as i grew older and met more friends with the same interests i started to switch to the real thing now im tournament ready and in singapore i have held a so called "permanent" place between 20th-30th for five consecutive tournaments which is good as it is against 200-400 people per tourny XD @Zparticus- XD It seems that everyone here started off YuGiOh with a deck made of fake cards =# haha @Mr.Magical- YAY! A live duelist has entered the playing field XD You go man! Hmmm which part of the world do you come from O.O Dragon decks are cool and if you're really loaded it is one of the most powerfull metas you could want to play (i have a friend who plays a "hopeless" dragon deck O.O and its friggin strong omg =.=" heres the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i_ssJ8QpGIM) Btw have you participated in any tournaments yet? Also i am interested in seeing your decklist ^^ mind showing it to us? Ahahahaha later i have to go train cards with friends for an upcoming tournament ^^ Been very busy lately and with christmas coming, its only about to get busier X( I'll try to post my current decklist in a few days time =D *Synchro- Synchro is a new kind of fusion. It is a fusion where you send a tuner monster with any number of monsters on your side of the field with total stars equivilent to the synchro monster you want to summon and then you may special summon the synchro monster when these conditions are met. You don't need to use "polymerization" for this. You also cant use two tuners together in one synchro summoning.

Oh, I understand why you said it was bad, since it was "normal", haha. Battle City was good. The whole thing with Pegasus (or whatever his name is) being the one to beat was good. He lost his eye later though, and things after that changed as well. I like the whole tag team style dueling, that was a cool thing to see in action. Also, Mai was one hot character. XD
