Wow, looks like a revived thread to me... Well, lately i found someone whose songs are all nice... Usually even if i like a singer there must be a few of his/her songs that i don't like, but not in this case... I love EVERY single song she did! Kokia ftw then lately i found out some singers to keep watch on. Shimamiya Eiko and Rurutia... ![]() |

I've gotten into more bands in the past few months, but one band still remains my favorite ever, Laruku. I love Hirano Aya, a lot. She might be my favorite singer, but at the same time she's not. I prefer HYDE with Laruku, since I'm not that big a fan of his solo work. I love a lot of other female J-Pop artists, but Hirano Aya's idol~ism is just too godly. She's still pretty young, so she doesn't have as many hits as Ayumi or Otsuka Ai (two of my favorites), but music is probably the third best thing she's best at (seiyu, idol/model). Though, I love her more as a person than a single thing like a musician, but for now she takes this spot. :3 Plus her voice has matured a bit so I hope to be expecting better songs soon. [@Sai] Kokia is beautiful. Her voice is really good (vocal wise). I found her last year (from a friend) and added her onto a list of artists I wanted to get into, though with school I never had a chance to look into her (+them) more. T-T I tried Wiki'ing her though her albums/singles don't have their own info pages so it's hard o obtain info. I was searching around and found another singer who sings her "Arigatou" too, Sam[MI] Cheng, which is beautiful. But overall, Laruku is my #1 music.

Arigatou, that must be the song that totally got my attention to her... One of her best songs, recorded or live. damn she's good. ![]() |

Compared to Sammi Cheng's Arigatou, Kokia's is better live as Sammi Cheng's is beautiful, umm, not live? :P If all of her (Kokia) songs are like Arigatou, then I hope to dL her stuff soon! Any smash mouth recommendations similar to her Arigatou?

| For me, it has to be Miyuki Hashimoto. For ppl you like to listen to anime music check out the 1st part of her latest song, Brillant Moment at http://lantis-net.com/miyuki/ by clicking on the window media icon on the web radio section on this website. In fact, this song really rocks. |
