Music recommendations?

| Anyone have recommendations/personal favorites to anime music played mostly by electric-guitar? I heard much of it in older 80's anime I was raised on, interesting styles. |

Lolz, you never heard of Gravitation? Their songs are REALLY rock n' Roll! If you like electric guitar, try out: -Spicy Marmalade -Rage Beat -Break Through And all of them!! They aren't all played by electric guitar, but they're very rock n roll type! ^_^ |

Hmmm... lessee... anime music eh? -Girigiri Chop --- Meitantei Conan -Ichirin no Hana --- BLEACH -zero G --- Ray the animation -Long Way --- Tenipuri -God Knows... --- Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu (The guitar is just so-so, but I like this song a lot) when it goes to 80's, just look for Fire Bomber (Macross 7). I think their songs were pretty decent back then at the old times. hard to find a rocking songs nowadays coz sometimes the guitar sound was made by synthesizer. maybe I'll add some later, I need to check my music folder...

Oh.. I'd say anything from the anime Kaikan Phrase is good! ^^ In fact, I love all of their songs! v(^O^)v The story is about a rock band, struggling to make it to the top of the Japanese music industry. ♪ ♪ ♪ Some of my favourites are: - Sekai de Ichiban Kirei na Mono - Silent Melody - C no Binetsu - Tokyo Illusion o(^-^)o And I agree with Suzaku-chan about the Gravitation... ★ But in my opinion, a lot of their songs are pop/rock... (^^;;) |

Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo have some very nice ost's. Greatest anime song ever, though, is without a doubt "Dame Dame No Uta" |

Anything by JAM Project if you're a rock type. Very hot-blooded songs. ORANGE RANGE and HOME MADE KAZOKU have a rap-ish sound to them, but it tottaly works for them. not like american cRap Asian Kung-Fu Generation is harder rock... The Pillows are all-around... and yeah, the music from Gravitation is pretty rockin'. But you left out Smashing Blue! My fave song from them!!
