Wooow, that looks great! I must have that game! (May be a bit difficult because it isn't released yet and I don't have any money for buying PS3. But I don't care, I'll wait couple years and save some money..) The graphics look awesome and it's nice that the main character is a girl. Well, I wouldn't mind if that red-eyed guy were main chara, he's pretty hot ;)... I can't compare this to FF12 because I haven't played them yet and I only seen pics, but I hope they're both good.  |

The third FFXIII title is Final Fantasy Agito XIII Unlike the other two releases, it is geared towards the mobile phone. There are already production art for it, looking similar to concepts for FF7 Before Crisis for the mobile phone. |

I'm getting it dec 17 for ps3 it's English menu and I understand Japanese so it shouldn't be that hard and then on march I'll get the us edition hopefully limited edition comes out. And I might get the xbox version just to play if my ps3 ever decides to die on me again. I got the demo right now and the cutscenes in 1080p Is breath taking. I wonder wat the data install time will be like. Mgs4 was like forty minutes.  |

I'm hearing some mixed reactions to this game which is giving me some bad vibes. There have been many complaints on various forums on some of the things absent in the game as well as stuff included. Alot of fans regard it as a disappointment in terms of where the series is heading. I'm on the fence on this one until i actually try it, i never had to quit a final fantasy game until i played ff12. The game just didn't resonate with me, i'm old school when it comes to rpgs & i understand the change in philosophy & the need for something fresh. Still quiting a final fantasy game in unheard of in my case anyways. Hopefully all these rumors about it are just from casual fans & not the very die-hard ones. In March we'll see of course.  |

ummm yea i think this game is satisfactory, its hasnt reached my biggest expectations hopefully versus 13 will be the game to clear the squeenix name of making a comeback. |

Well the game is here & i wanna know is all the hype justified or are you like me feeling that the franchise has been stripped down & for the most part not as fun anymore. Sure i welcome change & all but what they have done with FF 13 makes me feel it's not FF anymore.... Squenix has been so fixated on trying to please western players that it forgot what made FF so great in the first place. All this forging of screenshots, excuses about too difficult to create towns, defending the linearity...etc..etc...i have no idea what happened to Squenix but this kind of change i just can't get into. Maybe it's just me. What made FF games so great for me was many thing, the sense of adventure & exploration you get when you play the game. I wanna feel free to do what i wanted but not straying to far from the storyline. A fun combat system which to be fair i hear FF 13 has. I like finding every item available, to see all the weapons/armor/accessories the game has to offer. A memorable & compelling story, & characters you care for & get attached to.....the more reason to keep on playing despite spending hours on it already. That is what i want from a FF game....& for me personally FF 13 just doesn't have much of that. Was this FF the result of partnering with Xbox 360? Some conspiracy theorist believe so....& i wonder about that too. What would FF 13 look & play like if it was still only on the PS3? I guess we'll never know. Hopefully Tetsuya Nomura's FF vs.13 will be the game that FF 13 was suppose to be. Rumors has it that Nomura-san doesn't want this game to be stripped for anything. It will be for PS3 & PS3 only or from rumors i've read that he has considerations of leaving Squenix if that was the case. True or not again we'll never know. Anyways enough of my ranting....for those who have played or plan of playing the latest installment i wanna know was it worth it? |

I was totally in love with this game especially the graphics and characters. I finished playing it by watching someone else video game from intro to ending. I would love to play both version EN and JP but probably not until summer or next year. No PS3 or Xbox 360 sucks. I'll be happy if there's a PC version so I won't have to buy a console just to play the game. |

I have no qualms that FF 13 looks absolutely spectacular in terms of visuals & art design. What i worry about the game is that...the gameplay. There's just not alot of it compared to previous FF games. There is no minigames in the series & the only side quest is these monster hunting stuff that was seen in FF 12. To be honest those are pretty boring....one of the reasons i never got into FF 12. I really don't care about this being on either system, what i'm frustrated about is that this game felt like it could've been so much more. At first i was really interested in the game but as it went closer to completion that interest slowly faded the more i heard what the game was going to be. |

@Izumo - With Sakaguchi and Uematsu both gone, the series has lost it's magic for me. I mean, I'm not holding those two up on a pedestal or anything, but you can pretty much feel their absence in XIII. I don't know if I'll get Versus, I've lost a lot of love over the past few years for the FF series. Versus looks alright, from the limited details that have been given about it, but I'm not holding out hope for anything. And yes, if there's one thing that Square-Enix has always been able to pull off, it's pretty visuals. To me, that's the only thing they have going for them these days.    |

@ Jon-san The creativity of Sakaguchi-san i agree is definitely absent in the last few incarnations of the series. Though his last few games to be honest weren't that good (Blue Dragon & Lost Oddessy)...maybe his 'Last Story' will be the same as when he create FF. Uematsu-san is a lost but i feel that the last few games had pretty decent soundtracks. I downloaded the OST for FF 13 & it's not that bad at all...the battle theme you hear alot is pretty infectious, for me personally. So other than visuals the music is another thing that at least tries to be good. The last FF game i actually had fun with was Crisis Core & even though this game feels similar to what FF 13 is trying to do the presentation & gameplay i find much more endearing than 13. It was a FF game though at the same time it wasn't & it didn't try to be FF if you get what i'm trying to say. It's an action RPG is what i'm trying to say. I have hopes for Versus cause Nomura-san has a pretty good track record when it comes to creating games. Still there is so LITTLE info about it again it is making me feel less & less interested. I don't know maybe i'm in your boat....my faith in the series is waining & the more disappointment i feel the more i distance myself from one of my fave series......i loved the series from the get go & like i said i have never quit a FF game until 12...now i'm topping that by not even giving 13 a chance....and that just sucks! |

Saw some crazy long commercial of the game today, damn it showed like footage of the game, gameplay, it looked nice. The dub for it sucks though, and wtf is with the Leona Lewis song? Jesus christ. Lightning is sooooooo hot. :O I forget the chick with the side pony tail, but she was cute, too, but damn, Lightning strike me twice.

I'm so going to get this game when i get back to my hometown which is maybe a couple of weeks more =.=" Leona Lewis for the international trailer lol, i find it quite attractive Lightning is hottt indeed, and the girl with the side pony tail, she's Lightning's sister, Sarah hmhm    |
