No, it's Taiwan/China. It's premering in Beijing in June 1st, and officially across the land on the 16th. Plus, I know some Mandarin Chinese and the HK people speak Cantonese

| From what I can get from the video you posted it looks as if they are trying to make the Takumi-Nakazato match where Ryousuke watches. If I am wrong please tell me I really want 2 know what the story of the movie is. |

| The start video seems to focus on the AE86-R32 GTR battle...but there are hints that it goes MUCH further than that. Sudo Kyoichi and his Evo III (2nd Stage) make an appearance (its the some of the last race in the video), as does the carbon-fibre bonnet (4th Stage ep 5). Hell, if that guy in the racing outfit is Tachi Tomoyuki, then the movie is trying to cover just about all the Initial D storyline in one hit! |

| from my point of view, this movie is not gonna be as good as the anime... from what Blastorblade said, i do agree it would be crammed with action.. but as far as history for the hk/taiw movie production, its all gonna be "im cool... look at me" style from there... the acting should be quite below average as there are mostly new actors, singers (takumi) or actors that are used to act for comedy type film. From the trailer, i can only see one good actor... takumi's dad(actor from "internal affairs")... My expectation of this movie is not that high.. However, I am still looking forward to this movie as a fan of ID |

I agree with yamiherepi...I don't hold high expectations for the movie. If it really is crammed with action, then some battles must be getting the flick (anyone reckon it'll be the EG6, Sil-80 & S14 battles at the very least?). The music also worries me...I'm a big fan of Eurobeat and think it plays a big part in the show, but the music in the trailer is more in the vein of "Fast and the Furious", or even the dubbed version of Initial D (*shudder*). I certainly hope this is not the case, but I'm not holding out much hope |

Last year, they had another trailor with Eurobeat so expect to have it. If Initial D doesn't have Eurobeat, it will be like Cowboy Bebop without the jazz. The anime is pretty much all about the races rather than the story so I expect no less from the live action. I just want high quality drifting.

the movie isnt lyk fast and furious...dunt worry...i watched it and i love it. edison chen is hot!! i thought its an hk production isnt it?? but they haf a lot of actors i dunt noe...i only noe edison chen and jay chou...but its good. =] and this dude said the gunma mt was computerized or something cuz hk doesnt haf that scene...i dunt believe him but i dink at least something is computerized but its still good. edison chen is hot!!
