Ah, another old topic to drag up. There's one moment in an anime that nobody has mentioned yet: Sorceror Hunters. Can't remember the episode but it was near the end. Everyone is killed, one by one, by Zaha Torte leaving Carrot all alone to fight one. The fact that I had read the manga before watching the anime meant it was a big shock to me as the story had changed. There are a lot more, but this one stands out for me.

In almost all of the animes I've seen, there has been some really sad moment, especially -Fushigi Yuugi, when Nuriko dies (I think its in episode 33, but I'm not sure) -the last couple episodes of Sailor Moon Classic, even though Usagi & co. are revived -Millenium Actress |

Saddest Anime for me would have to be Chrono Crusade and Martian Successor Nadesico The Movie.

Preferably, I say, the most saddest anime scene was in Fushigi yuugi: Remember when the seven star of suzaku, Nuriko died to fight one of the seiryuu star, ashitare, everytime, i watch this scene, I cry a lot. It's not that I like Nuriko or something... but it's a total loss.... to lose a friend like Nuriko is tragic. Somehow, not very easy to get over with. Why not, Nuriko is kind, loving, protects the one he loves, funny, sincere. What else do you need for in a friend like that? Don't you think so anime lovers? A one touching part saddest mostly, is when Nuriko died?

hmmm i find a lot of parts in Elfen lied very sad, as well as in wolf's rain, and some of Naruto, Loveless, and Kannazuki no miko  |

When John died in Ginga Densetsu Weed. I cried like a baby with the rest of the dogs. And when Uncle Smith died. *sniff* I can't watch any of those parts or I'll start crying uncontrollibly.  |

Naruto - Anything SasuNaru was sad, especially the Waves [when Sasuke "dies" in Naruto's arms: "Why, did you save me?" "I don't know, by body just moved automatically..."] and Valley of the End arcs [VotE has such an ironic name, it's not even funny... ;_;]. Then the 9th ending, "Nakushita Kotoba" starts in the VotE arc, and I seriously think that's a SasuNaru tribute right there. Whenever Gaara interacts with or compares himself to Naruto is depressing, too. Full Moon o Sagashite - I think the manga was sadder than the anime, but that's probably just me. The anime had it's moments too. Wolf's Rain - ...I can't say anything... Err, going back to the Naruto thing... [offtopicness] Anyone notice that the newest opening [9th, I think, correct me if I'm wrong - Yura Yura by Hearts Grow] is especially insertcharacterhere[Naruto!]xSasuke? Someone pointed this out to me earlier, and it was like WOAH! Especially since it's the supposed last opening before the timeskip...  |

*cries* ~ the scene when Shinn drops Stellar onto the lake for a 'burial' after her death (Gundam Seed Destiny Ep. 33) ~ When Mitsuki went to Ecchi's grave (Full Moon wo Sagashite) ~ the scene when Rosette and Chrno are found together; they died peacefully (Chrno Crusade last episode) ~ When Momiji tells Tohru about his mother not wanting to remember him (Fruits Basket) ~ when Precia declares that she HATED Fate, despie Fate loving her like a mother (Nanoha Ep. 10 I think) ~ the scene when Meer saves Lacus from getting shot and saying "I'm sorry" before she dies (Gundam seed Destiny Ep. 46 / 47) |

before i start.... when all these events happened i -kinda...cried.ToT -screams NOOOOOO!!!!! fruits basket,when hatori erases kana's memories.(really sad one) samurai X, when kenshin dies and poor kaoru... ragnarok,when iruga and keough died. samurai 7,when kyozo died. fushigi yuugi,when miaka and tamahome are separated and not meant for each other. thats all i'm telling so far. the rest you'll know.....someday.....i guess  is <333333333333 |

Heh, no one said nething about Mai HiME when *Spoiler ahead* EVERYONE DIES i know that they all get ressed later, but i was just in shock, i was just hoping ONE would make it besides Mai, but they just kept dropping like flies. i know, a bit cheesy, but thats how i roll |

When Haruka and Michiru tried to turn against Galaxia, and both died... it was so sad watching Michiru trying to reach Haruka´s hand T.T ... and also when Hina-Ichigo was losing her energy while saying good bye to Tomoe in Rozen Maiden: Traumend... man, this reply is making me sad xDD *-I´m living under the symphony of silence... .. and yet building my life round insane....-* |

At the end of Utawarerumono when Hakuoro disappears...:( And when Genjimaru is killed by Dii... At the end of Shingetsutan Tsukihime when Arcuied dies after Shiki says he'll love her forever T.T When Ahiru loses her ability to turn into Princess Tutu and a human...at least she gets together with Fakir :D Haibane Renmei is just a sad anime anyway. And the most saddest moment ever... Ai No Kusabi: When Riki dies with Iason at the end in that explosion...OMG I was in tears....  |
