[@Raizo] Yeah, I guess you're right, though it'd be enjoyable to see what could've been... This poll is impossible to decide, and I only have the latest episodes dLed, from like, 16+ because I lost the rest when I had to get my computer restored. There are too many to list, and one cannot be decided as the "best", it's too difficult. If I had all my episodes (don't feel like dLing all of them over), I'd list out every one I liked by episode, because surely this anime is a memory itself. Quite simply awesome, full of sweet memories with a bunch of characters and their arcs, just hard without my episodes. Though a lot of the best ones, have to included Tomoya, of course.

@ dd08-san I always use the honorific 'san' for everyone no matter the age, i just feel comfortable using it. @ KM Revolution-san Thanks for posting. Do you wanna join the fanclub? All i need is your fave character. @ Raiz-san Favorite moment in the anime eh? Yeah there are too many to say, i would love to say every moment in the series was great but that's probably not allowed. This is gonna be tough...i do know what moments i WON'T be saying. Like i said an anime like this doesn't come around that often...so we have to savour every minute of it! CLANNAD (1st series) - Kotomi & the bear - Fuko's goodbye T__T / followed by her random 'magical girl' appearances - Tomoyo pawning Sunohara time & time again - Nagisa's play - Basketball match - many many more... CLANNAD ~After Story~ - Misae finding her love again :) - Nagisa drunk! - Tomoya 'thanks' his dad - USHIO! playing with food / Ushio cries with her father...heck every moment with her is awesome. Except one T__T. - Nagisa giving everyone 'HYPER RAINBOW JAM!!!' - Nagisa, Tomaya & Ushio in the flower field - Sunohara coming to save his sister - many more....  |

Thank you though. And yeah, I remember those comedy moments in the After Story. Especially Nagisa getting drunk. Tomoya: You have never had sake before yet, right Nagisa? Nagisa: Yes, But I'll try it for dad's sake *smells sake* Sanae: You dont need to force yourself to Nagisa: Here goes. *drinks* Akio: Woohoo! She's taking quite the plunge And the things after that

The little things that Mai Nakahara (Nagisa's Seiyuu) does makes that scene so great. Like after she drinks the sake she does this little cute *squeal*, it's really quiet so some may miss it, but it makes it that much more funnier. Than when Nagisa is actually drunk Mai-san's slurred voice is so adorable you can't help but love that scene!!! *************************** According to Anime News Network & CLANNAD ~After Story~ website there will be a 24th episode. Scheduled to air March 26th, 2009. The episode will be called "Midori no ki no shita de" (Under the Tree of Green). So my guess it'll probably be a Fuko & Ushio special...or some original material which will be kinda cool. *Sorry Kyou fans not this time i guess....* Also in Japan the cast & staff of the series will be holding a fan appreciation event. Would love to attend the event but since i don't live in Japan i'm out of luck *sigh* Hopefully i'll be able to hear the podcast which i hear every Friday. You guys should listen to it as well....it is often hilarious the way Sanae-san, Nagisa, & special guest go all out talking about the series. ****************** Will be logging out in a few minutes....gonna watch episode 23 as soon as i finish :DDDD |

@ dd08-san No actually episode 24 is next week, after watching episode 23 it appears to be some sort of recap. Makes me wonder if the last DVD release will have anything special included like the last series. I pre-ordered DVD 6 (cute cover for the limited edition! btw) so not long before we see. The only thing i'm disappointed in the After Story DVDs is there isn't as much extras as the first series. Each volume does come with a cool booklet that shows line-art/panels from the creation of the series as well as a collectors card. But there hasn't been any trinkets like Botan keychain i got from the first set. ********************** Speaking of episode 23...fans of Kyou will definitely love this one. She has as much screentime in it as the 'baka twins' & Nagisa. The last scene with Kyou & Ryou is well...NICE! :L It appears this episode was original material. If Key did decide to remake the game i assume it'll have this in the game. The same idea that they did with Yukine's route making it more complete. We never really see in the game how Nagisa & Tomoya actually met...although indirectly Tomoya is responsible for Nagisa's courage. Aki was priceless as usual. How in the heck he gulp down all the 'suprise' bread buns like that!? His teenage impressions were great too! Especially about the ULTRA MOM! Speaking of that...Nagisa's daydream was cute! Although it wasn't suppose to be funny, when she was bonked on the head by the pan it was. the dramatic slow motion effects probably made that happen. Still felt sorry for her....but cause of that she made a friend :D! Back to Kyou she was on top of her game as usual. She was both adorable, blushing looking for her 'admirerer' as well keeping her killer instinct intact! Still the bath scene tops it all...right?! :L |

I just watched the Extra Episode. And I have to say it was a hell of lol when I watched it. I just had to literally rofl at Akio. Every part of him in that episode was COMPLETELY PRICELESS! He made Sanae cry 2 times in one episode. And I surprisingly lol'd when I saw the crab bread that Sanae made. And how the hell did Akio gobble down all the surprise buns. I mean, his face enlarged when he did. And when Akio was teaching Nagisa how to make friends, lol. I mean ULTRA MOM! His impressions were completely childish. Nagisa's daydream, I thought that was real, but it was just Nagisa's thought. Kyou in this episode was great. Very much like her though, she was hurting Sunohara. But in this ep, Tomoya too. XD Anbd that bath scene. Still diturbs me though I lied this episode overall

Just saw episode 23, and it was a fun episode. Brings me back to the first season, though obviously it was before the first season happened, or you could say it was prior to episode 1 or episode 0 (minus). I enjoyed this episode, but not sure why Kyou got the most appearances, or more of an appearance. I loved the BGM that played during their (Sunohara/Tomoya) meeting with Kyou outside when they were talking for the first time. Well, Tomoya did, and Kyou as grumpy as ever, didn't. I loved Kyou in this episode though, cause she was insanely cute! When Tomoya "saved" her, her face got red and that was really cute cause you miss those moments with Kyou in the anime. Akio-san was definitely another star playing in this episode. Why is he acting like a school girl? XD "ULTRA MOM!!" was intense! I can only imagine him in high school, and omg, the PAN!?!?!? The second one was so funny cause it made weird noises as it went in his mouth. I thought the scene where Nagisa blanked out and had an illusion was so out of character for her. She'd never do that, and it was kind of weird after seeing it, but it definitely would've been something else. That one girl who later befriends her at the end of the episode, I thought she had a crush on Nagisa. I see this a lot in other animes where this type of girl would secretly have a crush on who she's looking at, and later at a good chance, confess and then things would move on from there, but not the case here, not in Clannad. :P The next scene was so funny, where Tomoya is sleeping outside, soundly, when Kyou walks over and admires him. Kyou feelings much for Tomoya? I think so... but Sunohara made it the funniest thing! When he saw Kyou, his facial expression was hilarious. When he ran over screaming "OKAZAKI! WATCH OUT!!" was hilarious. "Don't tell me you were planning to choke Okazaki to death while he was asleep..." was HILARIOUS. Kyou's "memory erased" made me think she's watch characters like Yuki in Suzumiya or something, those types of robot, analyst characters. XD That prank on Kyou was mean, but they sort of deserved it in the end. Tomoya should've backed off and left Sunohara, but he got the big bang, too. That prank on Nagisa was mean, but unintentional. I didn't expect that at all. That message she read at the end, shows who Tomoya really becomes later in the episode after meeting Nagisa and changing for the better good of himself. Oh, and that bath scene was something else. Don't see those often. No fondling though. *sigh* Watching this episode, with the little Ryou appearances to more of Kyou appearances, I wish they could have their own series as the main character, and have an anime like Akane-iro ni Somaru Saka or the D.C./D.C. II series, but with less sad moments like D.C. had, but more romantic-drama for sure as well as the side comedy. It would be a story of twin sisters who go to the same school with each other, and begin to fall in love with the same person. Maybe a short OVA series, but an anime series would totally be the best, but mix up with the real series unfortunately. The next episode is the compilation episode. Guess it's just meeting the characters when we first meet 'em, but this'll clear up some names and whatnot, like the girl with the red eyes. :D

To me, I personally think that the extra episode = a hell of lol. Except for the Nagisa and Kyou prank anyways. Tomoya should have just backed off and let Sunohara do his stupidity

I am late this time round, my computer got Blue Screen of Death, took me 2 days to recover and reformat my computer. The very first thing I did is to download and watch episode 23 though >_< Seems like an original, pretty draggy at times(slow mo is slowwwwwww) but pretty good episode overall. Well DA just got most of my thoughts out so I am not going to repeat =P Not adding any extra words for the bath scene as well since I am all for mai waifu Tomoyo~ @dd08 Well Tomoya and Sunohara should get the beating together since... they are a team before Tomoya got hitched =P @raizo Best moment..? I'll think about it and post it tomorrow. >_<  |

Ryou - Kyou's twin sister...has big breast or so Kyou says :D Kotomi - 'Great violinist' & moe goodness Fuko - Starfish loving loli with wierd sense of imagination Akio - baseball loving, strange bread eating machine! Sanae - the one & only! Sunohara - who is this guy again (referencing Tomoya's reaction) Tomoya - the dude in the background of Sunohara Mei - Sunohara's younger sister Misae - Hot dorm master Yusuke - Kouko's fiancee & former rock god! has a habit of being a tad over-dramatic :P Yukine - cute reference room caretaker...makes a great cup of tea Kouko - former drama club teacher & Fuko's sister Toshio - elderly gentelman & Tomoya's homeroom teacher. Helped Nagisa reopen the drama club Naoyuki - Tomoya's father Shino - Tomoya's father's mom....aka. Tomoya's grandma Yu - appears in Yukine's route looking for his HOT sister! Exactly. Theres always a comic relief in both seasons. Mostly be they Sunohara or Akio. But I personally think Sunohara in the 1st season and Akio inn the second. And lol, Sana'es surpirse bread. XD His face enlarged
