The shortest anime so far is REC which is REC (Ep1-9), Honey and Clover Season 2 and Ginban Kaleidescope (Ep1-12)...*lolz*

i think the short anime series i've watched would be,well theres a few actually..LoL..i mostly watch animes with 50 eps or more 1.Vandread (Both Stages make 26 eps in total) 2.Air: 1000th Summer 3.Zero No Tsukaima 4.The Melancholy Of Haruhi Suzumiya thats abouts it xD
