| it does have better graphics than ffx but it controls like kill switch...is pretty damn hard! |

I just started playing the game yesterday. The graphics and gameplay were good. But the controls were hard.

I heard it was a pretty average third person shooter. The exception is the story which if you love final fantasy is the probably the main reason why you would by the game and pretty good from what my friends tell me.  Japanese girls love Darth Vader...... |

I just beat it today and Omega Weapon was soo nice looking It kinda reminds me of FFX-2 since its like Behemoth beating it part by part and then fighting whoever that controls it. Some parts of this game reminded me of Kingdom Hearts like Nero using dark powers.. Cloud does nothing in this game except the cutscenes. He did so much more in kh2.. But great game tho some parts in the end like flying thru the tunnel blasting things was a rip from the last battle of DMC1. I just hope that square enix does not make another FF action game bc i get sick of using the gun, hand to hand combat, and very short galian beast mode. I prefer the old rpg style. Can't wait for FF13 to come out..  |

It's like a continuation of FFVII right? Except its just that it's all about Vincent Valentine and his past... And yehp... It still got the FF factor!!!

Yeah, I'm definitely planning on getting FFVII: Dirge of Cerberus. I've had my eye on it for quite some time and as for the whole game being about Vincent that doesn't bother me. As a matter of fact Vincent was one of my favourite characters in FFVII. Its currently available here in Canada for about $60.00 CDN, which is quite a bit, I might wait awhile and buy it pre-owned instead. |

I didn't find the game to be the greatest, the graphics, and CG movie clip scenes were awesome and I think the story line was generally very FF material. But they tried really hard to make real time combat like the ones you all saw in Advent Children and that just isn't possible so what ended happening is a game where it tried to emulate DMC (melee based) and turned it into a shooter base game, but that doesn't work when the control for movement is just alittle too messy. If it was a melee based game it might've been better and fluent in controls. In the end I just played the game for the story, not really because it was the best game or anything. |

| I know every one who hated the controls play "Oni" for ps2. then you will see evil controle system. but what ive seen is that he shoots to the side and stuff, you can increase the accuracy of the gun if tweeked just right, and change the thing to AUTO targeting instead of the default Semi-Auto. much easier. |
