@ DAngel I kinda like AniYoshi's work on the subtitling...hopefully they'll keep up with the series. Watching the RAW versions is though for me not a problem cause since i already know whats going on thanks to playing the game. For me i tend not to like groups who use fancy letters in the subs. Groups who keep it simple is my preference. As for the next episode...there is a few possibilities...since Kotonoha has kissed the dumbass. Those girls who pick on Kotonoha also get more play in the game when you are following the Kotonoha path. Although Otome Kato isn't as bad as the other 3. Tough to tell which path the series is taking...although it can well be an entirely different ending. Anyways although the voice actors are different from the original game (would've liked them to use the originals...oh well) they are pretty accurate to them. Kotonoha is quiet & reserved, while Sekai is the more outgoing & bubbly of the two. So both Tae Okajima (Koto) & Shiho Kawaragi (Sekai) do good jobs. As i mentioned in my last post a new vocal CD is on the way....since Miyuki Hashimoto has done the latest end theme. If it follows the game vocal album then we may see the likes of YURIA, yozuca, rino, & Minami Kuribayashi. Since all of them contributed songs for the game. So far the scheduled release date is August 22, 2007. *Edit* Some chibi images of the characters....       |

| ahh finally it has been released. I've been waiting for it since the OVA release, and I haven't played the game before, so I have no idea of the plot. Hopefully it won't be dissapointing. |

» Izumo, ah, well I have the AS-Fansub group's torrent now. Paika's not even out yet, but I'm impatient with these things although I might wait since it's another 200+ MB file. For some reason, the anime I'm dLing lately are larger then the usual 170-180 MB. I have a long way to go with HD space, but even so... ^_^;

@ DAngel-san Well i noticed a few fansub groups doing the series now...all in all i noticed 3-4 groups...one is even called "devil's lair"....that's up your alley ^__^ @ Kay-san Nevada-tan?...Sorry you may have to refresh my memory about that one...the whole scene with the saw started out pretty innocent enough. Basically in the game Makoto (you) alternate between each girl giving them a little bit of hope...until in the end you decide to choose Sekai over Kotonoha. After being played along by you throughout the game Koto doesn't take the rejection calmly. The scene starts out basic....Sekai & Makoto are crossing over this bridge overpass holding hands when they spot Koto just standing there. Seems she was waiting for them. There is a brief hello & Sekai lets go of Makoto's hands to greet Koto when all of a sudden out of nowhere Koto reveals the saw behind her & slashes at Sekai's throat. This is where it gets creepy. Like i said before there is a brief hesitation for a few seconds....than blood starts gushing out of Sekai & she falls to the ground surrounded by a puddle of her own blood. Makoto in the meantime just stands there....doesn't say anything or do anything. Kotonoha has this creepy look on her face...sort of like how Rena looks like in "Higurashi no Naku Koro". You know that expressionless look...anyways still holding the blood dripping saw she just smiles & laughs uncontrollable. Basically she has lost all sense of mental stability. Anyways back to the series....so far it's following the Kotonoha path....but that can all change very quickly. As of yet Sekai has yet to confess her feelings to Makoto. I figure they'll use 5 episodes to set up Koto than another 5 for Sekai. The last few episodes is a crapshoot. Typical anime based on a H-game...a few shots of ecchiness...Koto is sure a busty highschooler...*drools* Yet another new ending song...this time its Ito Kanako. In the game vocal album she does the last track in the CD called "悲ã—ã¿ã®å‘ã“ã†ã¸" (kanashimi no mukou he). I can't wait for YURIA'a contribution to the series. |

lol, I saw that one. I gambled, went with a group called "AS-Fansubs", and lost... If you're curious about that group for any chance, don't use them. >_>` I guess I could give that sub group a try. Or, stick with Paika, the group I used for the first episode. Any other group then these two since Paika seems a bit slow, would help me a lot. |3 Anyways, I'll try to discuss the series a bit here. Let's see... reaching back into my mind, I think I hate the main character already (well, "so far"). I think his name was Makoto (Wiki's mah partner!). XD Maybe it's just me, but I hate when a character tries to get with another character, and all his methods are wrong or just flat out pisses me off. There's still a long way to go though, so I'll see what happens. Side note this, but I read the other stuff by Izumo in this thread at times, too, despite my laziness to read long posts that aren't really involving me in discussion. XD [!] So, thanks Izumo, for indirectly helpin' me a bit. ^_^; Also quote: Koto is sure a busty highschooler...*drools* ...I have to agree there. The girls are really cute though, and I like Sekai?, too! =^.^= Anyways... let's wait or episode three now... ^_~;

Ummm...sure anyway i can help directly or indirectly....:P Well episode 3 is already out & i've seen the RAW & the subbed version....sorry i used the 'devil's lair' torrent. It's not that bad...i basically use any torrent that is available...i'm not picky about font or presentation. Anyways Koto & yes it is Makoto (bastard!) relationship is getting deeper....yet Sekai is still there (did i mention i think her uniform for work is *drools*) Why isn't there a cafe like that here!!!!!! Ummm...where was i....oh yes...Sekai had to help him again after he messed up...geez trying to grope Koto on the train. The Bully girls again show up to give Koto more paperwork...in the game they are really harsh. You don't get to see much of Koto's sister in the game...she is still the nosey little bundle in the anime at least. "Oni-chan!!!!" Things don't get to heat up until Sekai confesses her feelings....until that episode comes that is when you'll really see the stupidity of Makoto....& when Koto may start having her breakdown...that leads to some of the bad endings. |

Haha, you hate him more then I'm starting to hate him. XD AS-F was just bad, regardless of the font. They had spelling errors, names were spelled wrong, etc. -.-' Anyways, it's a typical girl-guy-girl triangle here. Sekai tried to help him until she told that Makoto guy to follow his heart (which was what he needed to do in the first place besides reading a damn book!). You always feel bad for one girl on either side cause they're such nice and sweet girls, you hate to see one of them sad. So far, Sekai's feeling sad so I have to support her for a bit while Koto's with that "bastard!". XD If three's out, I'll take a quick look see. ^^,

Episode 3 is already out, subbed by Devils lair. Currently downloading it, so I haven't watched it yet. @Izumo I meant the killing part. Try Googling Nevada-tan. You'd get some info on her. Better yet, BasuGasuBakuhatsu said something on that level. There was another blog which said something similar, although it's different from the site above (since it's from the game version). I don't remember which site though. I might have to Google it again Edit: The third episode really pisses me off, especially the last part, A WHOLE LOT. Now I'm wishing that the anime will end, with someone killing Makoto (aka Sekai stabbing him, the bad end which most fans calls the good ending). He puts lots of cool characters with the same name as him in shame >.< . the cool peeps? they are Mizuhara Makoto(El Hazard),Kosaka Makoto(Genshiken),Kurumizawa Makoto(Boys Be, even if he's pathetic, he's MUCH better than Ito) |

@ Kay-san So that's Nevada-tan?....creepy....ummmm.....O_o!! Well the respective parties are similar...but Nevada-tan killed her classmate with a knife not a saw...so its sorta like Sekai pawning Makoto. The way Koto did it feels more brutal. But geez...reading the wiki article about this girl is disturbing. A serated blade just looks more menacing & horrific than a puny knife. It's like Texas chainsaw stuff the saw Koto used.....*ughhhh* Well Kay-san everyone that knows about School Days is probably wishing for the knife ending as well....but don't you think that is tooo obvious. Like that ending is just way to easy to do & would kinda spoil the series since everyone wants it. Don't get me wrong it would not pain me to see that ******* get his gut skewered & left for the vultures to feed on his sorry ass carcass!!!! I just have this feeling that the Overflow is gonna give us something out of the blue....maybe an entirely different massacre...like Koto & Sekai pawning Makoto. Say since that train is seen alot....maybe....*push...oooops!* moment. Here in Vancouver we have a train service & i hear of the occasional accident/suicide by them.....not a pleasant sight.... @ DAngel-san Yeah....i totally agree...anime series that involves any sort of multiple angle relationships are a tad difficult to watch. Series like Shuffle!, Kiminozo, Kannazuki..etc....you feel sorry for the girl(s) that is rejected. Like the scene in Kiminozo when Haruka says her goodbye....the girls in these series are so likable...yeah you don't want to see them sad in the end. |

@Izumo, Yer right...just having him getting stabbed with a knife is too predictable...maybe instead of having Koto using that saw on Sekai, she'll use it on Makoto instead, or having Makoto jumped out of the window instead of Koto. Hmm....the train seems like a good idea...*starts thinking of many scenes* In Singapore itself have many cases of train accidents, especially in my neighborhood. There was one a few months ago, where someone jumped out of the platform to an approaching train. When I saw the pictures, his body was badly crushed...*starts thinking of Makoto in this picture* Hmm...nice... |

Sorry haven't been able to reply cause of work & my home connection is on the fritz again. Anyways saw episode 4....if you don't like that bastard now....i think this episode will make you! Geez the bastard is playing with both the girls now. I do put a little blame on Sekai near the end cause she let him & she didn't say NO. C'mon you know the two of them "DID IT" on the roof. And here we have Koto feeling bad with the train scene (fondling part) & decides to make it up to the bastard. No i REALLY hope he gets it at the end. If any of the 2 girls die i swear it will be the WORST ending in all of anime history!!!! Seriously i have no idea how the end will turn out now cause it is swayed away from the game scenarios a tad. Another new end song this time with yozuca....so all we have is Yuria & maybe one with rino. i preordered my copy of the new vocal album...can't wait!!! *EDIT* Here is another contribution to the thread....another from my collection of School Days pics/gifs.  |

*takes* ¯3¯ I say ditch the "bastard" and turn it into some g&g love story (even though this is definitely not going to happen T-T). How many episodes is this series anyways? There's still quite a few characters to meet yet (at least for me since I never played the game).

Ah thanks. =^,^= I wasn't expecting this anime to be a 20+ episode series anyways. I wonder if you guys dL the raw episode or just view it. I'll just continue to wait for the subbed version. :3

...so it seems, but he's a main character so it's not like we're off topic... I guess... /hmmm All the episodes so far that I dLed, are all from different sub groups so I hope I can finally find one this time. "Devils-Lair" and "Paika Fansubs" were the only two good ones so far, but Paika has like... stopped completely. Should I go with Conclave, another group besides that, or stick with Devils-Lair? (:\

@ Kay-san Well he is isn't he? :P....Funny when playing the game i didn't really hate him as much...probably cause you're HIM in the game. It is frustrating some of the choices you have to make...some of his replies are lose-lose situations. The anime is different in a ways...you finally realize what a useless excuse for a guy he really is. Anyways like i said episode 4 you really see his sorry excuse. He can't seem to do anything right....i do put a little blame on Sekai in this episode. You know what i mean when you watch it. @ DA-san Well i download the RAW then when the sub version comes out i just replace it....sometimes a group will scrap the series entirely so the keeping the RAWs come in handy. Well i don't mind either fan group...i don't really have preferences when it comes to subs. As long as they get most of the translation that is fine with me. Neko-san is correct....it is scheduled for a 12ep. series. But if it becomes popular enough it may grow. For example Touka Gettan was at first to be a 13ep. series but now it is a 26ep. series. It really all depends on the creators & maybe the budget they are given. Other than the 3 main characters there are minor characters...here's a list of them. Setsuna (short girl with red bow)- she gets her own game called Summerdays. Nanami (tall athletic girl w/ short hair) - has a hardcore otaku as a boyfriend Hikari (blonde with pig tails) - doesn't like Makoto but likes Taisuke...Makoto's friend. Otome/Kumi/Natsumi/Minami - the girls in Koto's class that bully her Kokoro - Koto's little sister (very cute!!!!) Itaru - Makoto's sister (not seen in the anime as of yet) Taisuke - Makoto's buddy....outgoing individual. |

Yeah I saw a few of them on Wiki as well. I'm currently dLing episode four (subbed). The subgroup I'm using this is Doreka or something, lol. Four different sub groups now. I'm sure as hell gambling with this anime, but yeah you're right about the possibility this anime can grow. It's not really "grabbing" me so far though, to tell you the truth. Stuff needs to happen soon. :3 [sidenote] I want to play the game. Seems interesting a little bit. /snickers~ XD

Some stuff happens in this episode....especially near the end. Sekai lets Makoto "experiment & practice" on her. They go on a practice date (sure it is)....which they end up on the school roof. Here is where Makoto acts like a jerk....he wants to practice "other" stuff on Sekai. Like i said here is where i put a little blame on Sekai. She at first resists....but for some reason lets him?!!! The last scene gives some indication that the situations between the 3 may change. Keep a close eye on Sekai's reaction when she sees Makoto & Koto together....awwwwww. True it is a tad boring.....it's your typical school love anime....maybe cause it is more dramatic than the other series of the same genre. There isn't much comedic aspects to School Days...which may be the reason it's not "grabbing" your attention. Everyone is waiting for the last few episodes...to see what kind of ending there is. So that anticipation of what will happen is keeping most interested. |

[edit] Hmm, episode four was titled "Purity"? As if... (:\ Okay, let's see. At one point near the beginning of the episode, I said to myself "Don't you just wanna punch him in the face and see him fly off the school rooftop!?", or, something like that. I'm starting to feel Sekai more and more though. It's like when something happens, like the action to make future plans between Koto and Makoto, she's somewhere near the background struggling as she sees the couple together. She can't really do anything but walk her path (alone). I can't believe he needs "special training" from Sekai, if he thinks about it so often... It's also weird how the relationship with him and Koto are, since they went out without hardly knowing each other. Those are hard relationships to maintain, yet he's still with her... for now I suppose. Well, all~'n'~all, I'll wait to see the next episode. *sigh, Sekai...*
